Dom! Angie’s angry voice came from the other room like some surprise, grating morning alarm. Dominic Mancini, did your lazy ass oversleep again?!

Oh fuck, Dom whispered, brown eyes wide, sudden panic on his face. Angie.

Then Dom seemed to freeze, only a sheet covering his huge, hulking body. Naked as the day that Tiffany Lee pushed me out of her vajayjay, I was waking up in the middle of a very precarious situation.

Wake up, you big, stupid goon! She shrieked, sounding like that old lady from The Goonies and Throw Momma From the Train.

I was off the bed in a flash. I dashed into the nearby closet and quietly closed the rolling door. Behind me, clothes on hangers pressed against my back in the dark space. My heart was slamming in my chest. It was so loud in my ears that I was sure the whole world could hear it. A tiny crack in the door remained, so I watched as Angie entered the bedroom just a few seconds after I’d disappeared into the closet.

I ain’t in the mood for your mouth this morning! He grumbled, getting up out of bed, his big, flaccid dick slapping against his leg. Dom was playing it cool.

Get your dumb ass out of the bed then! We gotta meet my father for lunch!

Oh shit. I forgot about our lunch with Mr. Gambino.

Gambino. The name sounded familiar, but my current situation didn’t allow me to dwell on that subject for long.

Were ya out getting shit-faced with the usual goombahs last night? She asked.

Yeah, I guess. Dom sniffed his armpit while daring a glance in my direction. I need a shower.

You always stink, Angie hissed, And don’t even get me started on your balls. But we ain’t got time for you to shower! Throw on some clothes, slap on some deodorant, and grease up your hair because we should’ve been on the fucking road ten minutes ago!

Dom grumbled something unintelligible in reply.

I wondered if Dom and Angie always yelled at each other like this. I knew that they were a turbulent couple and that Dom could barely stand her, but with this brief, behind-the-scenes glance into their relationship, they appeared to be downright hostile.
