Keegan is fascinated with the natural power exchanges between dominant and submissive males, and his stories reflect that fascination. The fantasies that he shares are full of adventure, peril, bondage, and a dry wit. And he has a knack for uncovering love and romance in the darkest of places. With a tendency toward the melodramatic, he does more than arouse or excite the reader - he engages them.Author of Homecoming: International Number One in four countries: The United States, The United Kingdom, Germany and Canada. - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5big feet, smelly socks, bondage, rape that's presented as something like enjoyable, non-consensual_ then since the victim is portrayed as responding to the stimulation= it's then called dom/sub. but in this author's books the subs don't know what's going on until it's too late_ so they must think it's a violent rape.
this book in particular- after 3 years in a relationship this older guy comes home, starts calling his boy/wife names, gets violent,, ties him up, gags him, etc.... isn't dom/sub supposed to be something both partners agree about in advance? but keegan just has to write that the boy or younger person or sub- has secretly wanted this all along and enjoyed it_ so the rape then turns into an act love or something equally ridiculous.
why do big, stinky feet have to be in every book you write ? reading about it 1x or 2x is a novelty- but now it's just repetitive and a combo of boring and disgusting. i had to skip through this book and still couldn't escape the big, smelly feet/socks

Who Wears the Pants in the Family?
Had my mother been right all along? Should I have married a nice Italian girl?
I walked into the 20th Avenue Bensonhurst Fire Station with the weight of the world on my shoulders.
It had all gone down just before a twenty-four hour shift at the firehouse. My boy and I had gotten into it like nobody’s business. In the three years that we’d been getting it on, we’d never blown up at each other like this. Actually, up until a few weeks ago, my boywife minded me better than he’d ever minded his dad. Things had gotten so fucked up in such a short period of time that I had no clue what to do to fix it.
With my ex-wife, Denise, I’d always gotten out of the dog house by buying the bitch flowers or some kind of shit like that, but how in the hell was I to get back into the good graces of the hot bottom boy who’d been sucking my cock and giving up his ass to me for three years?
Finn and I were married, after all. I was the husband and he was the wife—err—boywife as I called him. Did the same rules apply? Was I supposed to apologize? Should I wait for him to swallow his pride? I was totally lost.
Saying that the firehouse was the absolute last place that I wanted to be would’ve been an understatement.
Yo, Mancini, why the long face?
Chief Rossi asked, heading back to his office with a cup of coffee. Your boy not give ya any pussy today?
That ain’t it, Chief.
I shrugged. I wish it was that simple.
Chief Bruno Rossi was in his fifties with graying black hair. Italian like me, he was swarthy and thick, with brown eyes and olive skin. Although he was almost my old man’s age, the chief had a killer bod for an older dude.
Clearly seeing the shitty mood I was in, he asked, Wanna talk about it, kid?
Yeah,
I replied reluctantly. Guess it can’t hurt to get some good advice.
Come into my office,
my boss motioned with a nod of his head.
With slumped shoulders, I followed him into his private office and he shut the door behind us.
A year ago, when Finn and I had gotten married, it shocked the entire firehouse––and most of Bensonhurst. The boy and me being outed in a public way caused a few surprises at my job…
After the initial shock, most of the guys never blinked an eye about me having a boy. Lucia Sanchez had come out as a lesbian, revealing that she had a female partner of ten years. And most importantly, Chief Rossi revealed that he’d been in a long-term relationship with a guy named Bruce, who was in his thirties. Behind closed doors, Bruno confided in me that he and Bruce’s relationship had the same dominant and submissive side to it as my own relationship.
As we sat down, I realized that it made sense to talk to Chief Rossi because we sort of had the same thing going on in our private lives.
Mancini, what the fuck’s wrong?
He asked, taking a sip of coffee through his teeth. Start at the beginning.
I looked up at him and sighed. I’ve known Finn O’Malley his entire life,
I began.
The chief interrupted me. You’re starting all the way back then?
He asked irritably.
Yeah,
I countered. Ya said start from the beginning.
He groaned. Yeah, I did…
He looked like he wanted to backtrack on his offer to be a sounding board for me, but the chief spat, Go for it.
Well,
I began again. My family and The O’Malley’s have lived next door to each other in adjoining brownstones off of New Utrecht Avenue since before I was born. Ya see, The O’Malley’s are Irish…
I’d have never guessed that one,
Chief Rossi deadpanned, taking another sip of his coffee.
Noting his sarcasm, I glared across the desk at him. Anyway,
I continued. Since they’re Irish and my family’s Italian, but we’re all Catholics and went to mass at St. Mary’s. So, two families had never been closer.
I paused. Well, I’m the oldest of ten kids and Finn’s the youngest of eight.
I paused again, thinking back. I played football with two of Finn’s older brothers, and Finn grew up being best friends with my youngest brother, Dominic. Since there was a twenty-year age difference between me and Dominic, I’d moved out on my own already just after he and Finn from next door were born.
Chief Rossi shook his head. That’s a whole lotta kids running about.
Yeah, it’s a crowded street… Over the years, when I stopped by my folks’ house for dinners and holidays, I’d never thought too much of Finn. All I knew about him was that he was a pretty kid with the blond hair. Hell, I just saw him as another brat running around the neighborhood… In the meantime, I became a firefighter and married Denise Marchesi from over on 65th.
You were married to Denise?
My boss asked, scowling.
Yeah.
She’s a bitch!
I know that—now.
I exhaled. After six years of hell, Denise and me split up, but I did get two beautiful daughters out of the deal. Believe me; I couldn’t have been happier when we got divorced. Sure, I missed my girls, but I was totally pumped about my future without that griping ball and chain. I was thirty-five, in the best shape of my life and was a free agent again.
I smiled faintly. "I was so glad to be away from Denise that I let her and the girls have the apartment, so I moved back in with my ma and my old man, crashing in the basement until I got a
