Elise Spencer-Hughes
Elise Spencer-Hughes currently lives in Cheshire with her four rescued dogs from Cyprus and her daughter who lives close by. This is the first of several manuscripts that Elise is working on; the sequel to Military Wife is well under way! Elise covets a life on the coast, with an acre or two of land to allow her beloved dogs to roam freely off their leads, she would also like a few chickens and a Lama! Because Elise just loves animals. Her one wish in life would be to see her daughter happy in whichever way that may be. Her daughter is her whole life and reason for breathing. Elise would also love to help her close friends to achieve their dreams. Today’s world is tougher than it used to be, and the necessity to work does not allow time to make dreams become a reality. In most cases, people work to live and never achieve what they would really like to do in life. Elise would love to help in some small way to give back and help her friends. One friend would like her own dog rescue sanctuary, another would love her own craft barn, a recently acquired friend simply wants to do painting and decorating, but the need to work gets in the way of their dreams becoming reality. If Elise can give back and help them in some small way, that would give her the most pleasure in life. Having lived a varied and busy life with some bumps, and indeed, major cracks in the road, Elise retains a good sense of humour and strong character with a no-nonsense attitude. To publish her books successfully and live a quiet life is all she would like to achieve by the time she reaches sixty, which gives her a time limit of ten years! She is an inspirational, truthful and down to earth type of person who has learned to live alone after a long marriage. She hopes to find love again but is certainly not in a hurry, she believes that true happiness starts within, and that it is not a necessity to be with someone to be happy. She does not see the ‘moving on’ part as having to be with someone. Moving on simply means leaving dead wood behind and letting that shit go. Elise chose to be single until she finds Mister Right, not Mister Right Now! Although, book three is a testimony to the few Mister Right Nows and some fun along the way! It will be eye opening and well worth the read! Peace and love come to those who wait long enough and work towards it…this is her belief, and she is looking forward to a writing career that she has always dreamed of.
