Evangelist David Hobbs was born November 24, 1950, the seventh child and born again in June 1975 on the Sabbath Day of water and the Spirit of the Living God. This book is gracefully dedicated to the saints, the elect and chosen of God, all the people who truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, are fed up with false religion and are seeking the truth.

Warning

The Great Whore, the Roman Catholic denominational Christian church system, the image to the beast, is able to speak from both sides of her mouth. Although the Holy Bible, containing sixty-six books, is complete with instructions needed to find and stay on the straight and narrow path; through some mysterious stroke of tactical genius, the Whore, while speaking from one side of her mouth against pagan beliefs, practices, and teachings, yet from the other side of her mouth, she spoke and was able to harness and capture the minds and souls of people, whose names were not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, through mysterious pagan worship. For this reason, this book, The Great Whore, The Apostate Church, Unveiled, Identified, and Exposed, reveals some of the pagan mixtures mixed with biblical truths and taught by the false church system. She uses this method to wrest, pretext, and counterfeit Bible truths.

The Holy Bible is God’s Word, read and studied by all, yet the leaders of this false religious system, the Whore, is able, under the Dragon’s power, to teach people something else, not written in that Bible, yet she is able to subtlety cause them to believe that she’s teaching them something written in that Bible!

Saints, Christians, nondenominationalist, and other denominations alike should consider, for examples, the pope’s claim as Peter’s successor, the Holy Father, Lord God the pope, the vicar (replacement) of Christ and head of the church on earth, Purgatory, A changed Ten Commandments, Easter, Christmas, the Christian Sunday Sabbath, Trinity, Mary, as mother of God, a Friday evening crucifixion and an early Sunday morning resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ that mysteriously adds up to three days and three nights. These and other teachings are not biblical, yet the leaders of the Roman Catholic denominational Christian church system has blinded, hoodwinked, and bamboozled the world into believing, practicing, observing, and teaching some of the same mysterious pagan religious doctrines she condemns.

Through the prophet Hosea Jehovah declared, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: Because you have rejected knowledge, I have also rejected you, that you shall be no priest to me, seeing you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children. As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame. They eat up the sin of my people and they set their heart on their iniquity, and there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them for their doings(4:6-9)

Christianity is one of the major and fastest growing denominational mixtures on earth. Containing a mixture of all denominational doctrines, teachings, and practices, Christianity has developed into a melting pot filled with all the man-made mixtures. Christianity takes advantage of the name of Jesus by invoking him in all her thought changes of times and laws of Jehovah. Roman Catholic Denominational Christianity is a mysterious mixture of paganism, Heathenism, and Bible. Situations that makes it a counterfeit system.

Did you know that there is not one scripture in the entire King James Version of the Holy Bible or any other version or translation (until the twenty-first century) that records Jehovah, the prophets, or the apostles calling any of the saints of the Living God Christians? It is lately, in the twenty-first century, that man, thinking to simplify the Scriptures with changed and omitted words and phrases, has subtlety added or included the word Christian in many of the most recent translations. Believe it or not, there is no inheritance in the Kingdom of God for a Christian? The word, Christian was at first a derogatory persecuting title applied to the saints of God by the Gentiles at Antioch (Acts 11:26). Furthermore, concerning the inheritance of the everlasting Kingdom of God, the Holy Bible specifically declares, These great Beasts, which are four, are four Kings which shall arise out of the earth. But the Saints of the Most High shall take the Kingdom and possess the Kingdom forever, even forever and ever (Dan. 7:17-18). In the same chapter, it is further declared to Daniel, But the judgment shall sit and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. And the Kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the Kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the Saints of the Most High, whose Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him (Dan. 7:26-27).

The new heaven and the new earth that John saw is the everlasting Kingdom (Rev. 21:1-2). The new heaven and the new earth are the place that the Lord Jesus declared, Let not your hearts be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s House are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also (John 14:1-3). One truth is sure; contrary to popular belief, we will not be living in this earth that now exists. The Holy Bible clearly declares that this earth and heaven, even the elements also shall be dissolved and shall melt with fervent heat (2 Peter 3:1-15). Let no one fool you, this present earth and heaven is a temporary kingdom abused and misused by mankind. This present heaven and earth in which we live is not an everlasting kingdom. This present earth and heaven shall be hell (Gehenna). We are aware that the devil is the god of this world. He was cast down to this earth that he is constantly corrupting, destroying and will set on fire through his own political and religious ministers. The new heaven and the new earth will be created by God because the first heaven and the first earth will have passed away, and there shall be no more seas. The holy city, New Jerusalem, will come down from God out of heaven. The holy city, New Jerusalem, will be pure gold with gates of pearls. The streets also are not paved with gold as the deceptive song says, but they are pure gold (Rev. 21). There will be a great gulf fixed between the old burning earth and the new earth, where in there will be only righteousness even as there is a great gulf fixed between righteousness and unrighteousness. The Lord Jesus declares, Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matt. 24:35). SELAH!

Caution

The False Church System (The Great Whore) and the One World Government Political System (The Beast) is a united political/religious system combined. It is a union of church and state.

But, this church and state system is not the true church combined with the political state. This church system is man made. This church system came up out of the earth; this church and state system received its’ power, its seat and its great authority from the Dragon, the Devil and Satan. She is the great whore which sits upon many water, she is the Roman Catholic Denominational Christian Church System. Selah Revelation 13:11, 17:1-6

Preface

The purpose of this book(s) is to unveil, identify, and expose the two ecclesiastical church systems. The author will introduce, compare, and contrast various man-made religious festivals and doctrine observed and taught by these two systems. He will show the reader the connection between the false church and the mark of the beast that the Holy Bible has symbolically declared. Furthermore, the writer exposes the name of the false religious that, for the past two thousand plus years, has been, is, and shall be existing among us until the return of the Lord Jesus to destroy her. Both systems stake their claim to authenticity. Yet one is the exact opposite the other.

During the past eighteen plus years (1989), Jehovah God has been dealing with me concerning the Great Whore (Rev. 17) and the Bride of Christ (Rev. 19). These two biblical titles symbolically represent and identify the false and true church system presently existing in the earth, respectfully.

The false church system, the man-made existing one, is described in the Holy Bible as the seed of men in Daniel 2:43. This is the same one described as another Little Horn with eyes like the eyes of man and a mouth speaking great things (Dan. 7:8). This same false church system is spoken of by the apostle Paul as a falling away first and that man of sin be revealed, the Son of Perdition (2 Thess. 2:3-12). Last but certainly not least, the false ecclesiastical church system is further described as another beast coming up out of the earth and he had two horns like a lamb and he spoke as a dragon (Rev. 13:11). This one came up out of the earth is man-made, and she received her power, her seat, and her authority from that old Dragon, the devil and Satan.

The true church is described through Moses as a Holy People unto the LORD thy God (Deut. 7:1-11) and is identified by Stephen as such when he declared, This is that Moses which said unto the Children of Israel, a prophet shall the LORD your God raise up unto you like unto me, him shall you hear, this is he that was in the church in the wilderness with the Angel that spoke to him in Mt. Sinai and with our Fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us (Acts 7:37-38). This is the true church seen by John in Revelations 7. She is further identified as the remnant of the seed of the woman which kept the commandments of God and has the testimony of Jesus Chris (Rev. 12:17). Further, the apostle John said, "And I saw the Woman drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus, and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. John was witnessing the false church persecuting the true church, making war with the saints and prevailing against them until the Ancient of days came and Judgment was given to the Saints of the most high and the time came that the Saints possessed the Kingdom" (Dan. 7:21-22).

The Dilemma and Delusion

Thus says the Lord, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow, Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire; for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her (Rev. 18:4-8). This command is directed to those caught in the snare of the Roman Catholic denominational Christian church system, the Whore, and mother of all denominational daughter churches of Christianity. But unless one is born again of water and Spirit, it is impossible to understand the mysteries and counterfeits of this mysterious Whore. This is why the Lord Jesus declared, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God . . . Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God (John 3:3, 5). Paul explained, For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness and peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost (Rom. 14:17). The saints have been born again of water and Spirit, the heirs of salvation and will hear, recognize, and obey the truth. The denominational Christian, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof, will also hear the everlasting gospels. But because of demonic deception, gain, prosperity, and tradition, 93 percent of all Christians will refuse to receive and obey the revealed truth. This refusal will cause the prophecy spoken by Jehovah through the prophet Isaiah to be fulfilled in them as written: But the Word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little and there a little, that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken (Isa. 28:13). Also, as Jesus declared, And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah which says, ‘By hearing you shall hear and shall not understand; and seeing, you shall see and shall not perceive. For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes, they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and should understand with their hearts and should be converted and I should heal them’ (Matt. 13:14-15 and Isaiah 6:8-10). The LORD says, Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool (Isa. 1:18). The Sabbath day is one of many examples of rejected revealed truth. Rightly divided scriptures reveal no command from God to stop obeying the fourth commandment. The seventh-day Sabbath (Gen. 2:2-3; Ex. 20:8-11) is God’s commanded day of rest. The seventh-day Sabbath is a part of the Ten Commandments. The Sabbath (the seventh day) is not part of the Law of Moses or the ceremonial law. Jehovah spoke the Ten Commandments, which contains instructions concerning the seventh-day Sabbath, according to Exodus 19 and 20, directly to Moses and the people. Exodus 31:18 and 32:16 reveal that these same commandments were written by Jehovah with his own finger on tablets of stone. But the Law of Moses was spoken by God to Moses who wrote them in a book. The Ten Commandments were spoken by God directly to Moses and the people and written directly by God on tablets of stone. Furthermore, the Ten Commandments were the covenant between God and his chosen people, Israel (Deut. 4:12-13). This was the original imperfect covenant. It was written on tablets of stone and ratified with the blood of animals, which could not take away sin (Heb.10:4). Blood is the ratifying substance by which Jehovah sealed His old and new covenant, that is, with the blood of animals and with the blood of Jesus. But because of a misinterpretation of Ephesians 2:15 and Colossians 2:16-17, denominational Christianity claim that the Ten Commandments and the Sabbath was for the Jews, a part of the law fulfilled in Jesus and nailed to the cross with Jesus at Calvary. But Jesus said, The Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath (Mark 2:27). The Ten Commandments are the new covenant (testament) for God’s chosen people, the saints. They are written in our inward parts, that is, in the fleshly tables of our hearts and minds by the Holy Ghost (Rom. 8:2; Heb.8:6-13). Roman Catholic denominational Christianity has thought to change the seventh-day Sabbath to a Christian Sunday, first-day Sabbath.

Sometimes we can be sincerely wrong when religious and traditional beliefs are passed from generation to generation. Truth is hidden when we fail to compare traditions with rightly divided scripture. There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death (Prov. 14:12 KJV.) The choice to be passive, silent, or develop an if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em attitude is the wrong choice. The majority rule religious system is a worldly system. It hinders revelation of truth, spiritual growth and paves a road to delusions sent by God. The man-made Roman Catholic denominational Christian church system contains the religious majority. They have been learning but have never been able to come to the knowledge of the whole truth. Buy the truth, and sell it not: also wisdom, and instruction and understanding. (Prov. 23:23)

These people don’t know the whole truth or recognize the enemy’s weapons of warfare. Strong delusion has blinded them to the devil’s tactics. Satan has them using the same scriptures as the saints with different interpretations. They make the same confession and similar testimony as the saints; comes in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ confessing that Jesus is Christ, but the doctrines and precepts are delusional backward counterfeits.

The Lord allowed me to observe the following delusion and dilemma: this and similar sermons are often preached from delusional minds and hearts.

The sanctuary was filled to capacity as the people prepared to hear the preacher. Many sat in quietness, waiting with anticipation and expectancy. Several people, who had entered late, greeted those they passed with a nod and smile as they found their way to their seats. As expected, the reverend delivered the sermon that first day of the week. Many called it Sunday morning worship services. The preacher read scriptures from Romans as he recited his text, As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one: For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:10), and this will be my text, he replied, as he proceeded. He was very professional as he continued carefully to work his way through the book of Romans. He left no stones unturned. He was very convincing as he declared to the congregation how sin entered into the world. As a trained audience, it seemed as though everyone in the pews responded at the same time, with amen. All agreed with the preacher who spoke from the pulpit. Everyone seemed to wait with expectancy for the preacher to show them a way out of the sin dilemma in which he had placed them. This sinful nature is the one, he declared, that Eve, the serpent, and Adam got us into. This is the truth, the preacher cautioned, as he carefully and skillfully interpreted the response from the audience. He skillfully showed our inherited sinful nature by scripture. Still seeing and observing a confused and puzzled look on the faces of some of his subjects, the minister targeted and addressed those who were at a loss as to what to do about their dilemma. The reverend said, Romans 10: 9-10 says if you will confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. With the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Jesus gave his life for the sins of the whole world. He was whipped all night long and carried his cross all the way to Calvary. Pausing a moment to take a breath, the reverend proceeded with great zeal: Jesus was crucified late that Friday evening, was buried, and he stayed in the grave all night that Friday night, all day that Saturday, all night that Saturday night, but early that Sunday morning, he rose from the dead. Blessed Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, praise God. All the while the reverend was speaking, one curious young man was wondering in his heart. He knew that he was hearing scripture being quoted from the Bible. But the devil was quoting scripture to Jesus in the wilderness, thought the young man to himself. He made comparison between what the reverend said with precious words of scripture he had memorized. They did not bear witness with the spirit of God that was within him. Maybe there was a mistake. Maybe there was something that the reverend was intending to say but forgot to say it. Maybe, thought the young man, the devil was playing tricks on us. However, when the service was over, the young man approached the reverend and said, Reverend, what is the trinity? Where can I find it in the Holy Bible? Where does it say in the Bible that Jesus was crucified on a Friday evening and rose early on a Sunday morning? What happened to the three days and three nights that Jesus was supposed to stay in the heart of the earth? (Matt. 12:39-40, Luke 24:44-47, and John 2:19-21). And where does it say in the Bible that Jesus was whipped all night long and carried his cross all the way to Calvary? Puzzled and searching for words, the reverend simply said, Son, I’ll get back with you on that, I promise. Sad to say, the reverend never got back with the young man as he promised. Pricked in his heart by what the preacher said, the young man considered the preacher’s message as a warning to him. This warning was not an indicator that the preacher’s message was truth, but that it was a different gospel message. Different in that it was not the three days and three nights gospel message to which the prophets, the Lord Jesus, and the apostles gave testimony; and therefore his message didn’t coincide with rightly divided scriptures. Therefore it didn’t add up to the three days and three nights testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ according to Matthew 12:39-40, 27:32; Mark 9:31,15:21; Luke 23:26, 24:44-46; and John 2:19-20, 19:17. Jesus didn’t carry his cross to Calvary. The young man knew that the time factor concerning the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus was a major part of the Gospel message; so he searched the Holy Scriptures and found the answers to the questions. Through the scripture, God revealed to the young man that the reverend’s message contained counterfeit, apostate, and delusional teachings of the Antichrist spirit. Some of the results of the young man’s findings are contained in the pages of this book.

By now I know that you have come to the conclusion that the young man in question was me. My name is David Hobbs. Jehovah has called and chosen me and commanded me to be faithful to the ministry of evangelism. Also, in this book the Lord Jesus will manifest to the reader many of the mysteries of Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth. These mysteries are the secret wrongs, which are the exact reverse teachings of the Holy Word of the Living God. She is the Whore, the Mother of Harlots, and the Holy Roman Catholic denominational Christian church system. All of the daughter denominational churches came out of her and maintained her secret wrongs. It is the Lord Jesus who has called me to be one of the elect and chosen of the Almighty God. Elect and chosen to cry aloud and spare not, to lift up my voice like a trumpet and show God’s people their transgressions and the House of Jacob their sins. I am aware that what is being written here is contrary to majority religious belief, but what is written here is the truth. Sometimes the truth can be a hard pill to swallow, especially when we have been traditionally drilled and taught a different way, believed a different way, and have done religious matters in a way that is contrary to truths. But if you are like me, you want to receive eternal life. Then if through the preacher something is revealed to me that is happening in my life that will keep me from obtaining eternal life and that something is brought to my attention, then it is my time to repent, especially if I am still alive and given the opportunity. In obedience to the truth, I gladly will repent, be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin, and allow Jesus to give me the Holy Ghost. But after I am exposed to the truth and then reject that truth and choose to continue to be disobedient. I am of a rebellious spirit of Antichrist because I have chosen not to obey the truth. Furthermore, that rebellious way that I will have chosen by rejecting the truth becomes my strong delusion. Vines Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words defines a delusion as a wandering, whereby those who are lead astray roam here and there, is always used in the New Testament, of mental straying, wrong opinion, and errors in morals or religion. In the KJV, 2 Thessalonians 2:11, the word delusion is mentioned. The Amplified Bible amplifies this word as a misleading influence, a working of error and a strong delusion. A delusion is, simply, a working of error.

The Lord has allowed me to witness and preach the gospel to delusional human beings. Confessing Christians who also claim to be Baptists, Catholics, Lutherans, Methodists, and other man-made denominational Christian belief systems have been victimized by them. Many Christians have been blindly ensnared by a perfectly backward religious system that is contrary to the rightly divided Word of the living God, and that is the Bible truth. The Holy Bible declares the Lord Jesus saying, I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father But by me (John:14:6). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life; and if we love him, we will demonstrate that love by keeping his commandments (John 14:15; 1 John 2:3-6, Rev. 12:17). But there are delusional people today who confess that the seventh-day Sabbath was for the Jews and was done away in Christ. They will confess that Sunday is the Christian Sabbath and keep it as a day of rest. They do this because Christianity teaches that Sunday, the first day of the week is the Christian Sabbath. In spite of what the fourth commandment, (Ex. 20:8-11) commands, Christians keep Sunday all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. They freely use his name, but in reality, they are glorifying the devil himself. Truth is the revelation of Jesus Christ, and saints must forsake anything that is contrary to revealed truths. I once was lost, but now I’m found. I used to believe the same lies about the Sunday Sabbath, Christians, the Friday/Sunday death, burial, and resurrection and all the other delusions. But my eyes were opened, and I was chosen o God to hear this truth, and I acted in faith toward it, and the Lord gave the increase. The Lord has enabled me to see well enough to understand. I am now preaching and teaching and sharing what the Lord has allowed me to receive. He reveals more and more to me each time I am allowed to study. I have been warned of the consequence of writing this book. The Lord Jesus has opened my mind to understand the mystery and commanded me to write. So I will write according to the ability the Lord gives me. The determined Spirit of Jesus in the apostles motivates me. They were called, chosen, and trained by the Lord Jesus Christ and empowered with the Holy Ghost to carry on the ministry of reconciliation. They were empowered with the faith of the Lord Jesus and knew the Holy Scriptures, which made them wise. There is great personal confidence, humility, patience, and peace in knowing and doing what the Word teaches. It is a blessing to see the mysteries of the false church unfolds as the Lord Jesus informed his saints. When saints are allowed to read about the wrath of God reserved for the wicked, it should create zeal to continue to fast, study, and seek the Lord through his Holy Word. Saints must draw near to Jesus casting aside every weight and the sin which so easily beset us that we may run this race with patience according to the examples the Lord, the King of saints (Rev. 15:3), has set for all his saints. We must not conform to this world’s religious and combined political system of things. The enemy has spiritually wicked ministers dispatched in high influential positions in the political and religious arena. These ministers have been indoctrinated into a man-made religious system that has been satanically inspired. This religious system is a counterfeit backward system that utilizes the same scriptures as the elect saints of the Most High and mix actual Bible situations with pagan, heathen practices. This false religious system wrests and pretext scripture to devise a different interpretation that doesn’t coincide with rightly divided scripture and often is perfectly backward. Because the followers of the false system have failed to rightly divide the Holy Scriptures line upon line and precept upon precept, here a little and there a little according to Isaiah 28:10, Jehovah has sent them a strong delusion so that they shall believe a lie and as a result, the deceived have gone and fallen backward and have been broken and snared and taken captive by the enemy to be used as tools.

Modern-day Spirit of Antichrist

The apostle John warned, Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ hath come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ hath come in the flesh is not of God: and this is the spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God little children and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world and the world heareth them. We are of God: He that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth and the spirit of error (1 John 4:1-6 KJV). The spirit of Antichrist is, here, defined by the scriptures. Contrary to popular traditional belief, the Antichrist spirit is not a natural man. It is a supernatural evil spirit of error that possesses men and women. It causes men to deny Jesus in doctrine, teachings, and works. This satanic spirit in all ways denies the testimony of Jesus Christ. For example, the scriptures declare a midst of the week crucifixion, death, and evening burial of Jesus, and a three-day and three-night stay in the grave (Dan. 9:26-27; Matt. 12:39-40). We use simple reasoning from the truth written to come to a resurrection on the Sabbath day in the evening. But the Antichrist spirit assumes the opposite. It offers an end of the week, a Friday crucifixion, death, and evening burial; two nights and one day in the grave and a resurrection early on the first day of the week, a Sunday morning.
