Royce K. Nelson

Royce (Kathy) Nelson resides in Philadelphia. She graduated from George Washington High with a 4-year perfect attendance award. Her passion is running track (Penn Relays). Royce is still running, but for the Lord. She got degrees from Community College of Philadelphia and McCarrie School for Medical Assistant. She currently works at Penn Cardiology at Mayfair in Philadelphia. Royce is a member of the U-NI-T Tri-State Mass Choir. Her best achievement was working alongside of her husband, Rev. George Nelson Jr., to launch a church “Your Will Christian Ministries” (Former Senior Pastor and Founder). There, the Lord led her to a personal workshop entitled, A ”5-Step Restoration Ministry”. On August 27, 2010, in her home, she launched her first lesson on how to “Let Go, Let God.” The lord used Royce to show the women that you can experience an overnight retreat in a home.

My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to whom I lean on for guidance. I want to thank him for giving me such an assignment to share with you. Thank you, God, for keeping me, for this journey was rough. I learned when you are obedient to what God is leading you to do, and it made be a blessing for some, the enemy will be hot on your trail trying to reroute your mind though. Now I can add this story to my book of storms and battles; how I had to fight to Victory. I am humble and grateful for all lessons learned.

My Precious little baby girl, Jane – I truly thank the lord for allowing us to be together for only six days. God knew what was best for you, and truly God knew the same for me. While spending those precious moments with you, your strength to fight has impacted us all. After 30 years, I now can talk about you. It’s Time to tell your story. God is so good! Now, I am able to hold my broken chains, instead of them holding me.

My husband of 25 years (and still counting), Pastor George Nelson Jr. This man of God was sent to me exactly the way I prayed. He’s my rock and soulmate. I can say learning the bible under his powerful anointing, made it easy for me to comprehend God’s word. George, I thank you for pushing me, encouraging me, to do what the lord has instilled in me that I could not see but you could. Thank you for covering me in prayer. On this journey, I was being tested, and you saw it, and you did your part to ease the pain. Thank you, sweetie, for that protection.

My loving parents, Ruby and Leroy Robinson – I give all praises to the lord for allowing them (in their mid-80’s) the opportunity to share with me in this awesome moment. I will never forget these wisdom words of life you instilled in your children, Always reach for the best in all you do – Don’t settle for nothing less. Well mom and dad, I can speak on behalf of all your children that we are striving for nothing but the best.
