    Chapter 1

    Nick And Asia Go Big

Asia and Lil’ Nick walked out of Kids Footlocker with a hand full of bags headed towards Georgio's where Big Nick was at. Today was Saturday and they had woken up early to do some shopping, so Asia could get back to the shop before her two o'clock appointment.

Greenbriar Mall was Big Nick's spot. From one end to the next, somebody knew him and they knew when he was there, he was spending. Asia had outgrown the Greenbriar Mall shopping vibe. She used to kill it when she was younger, but now that she was grown, she was on to places that were higher standard. Although she couldn’t resist getting a little, hottie, thottie, dress out the Vivi Boutique, the rest of the bags were Big and Lil’ Nick's.

Nick was at the cash register cashing out when they walked in. He and the owner were friends and he looked out for Nick whenever he was shopping there. Nick was a Bally junky and Georgio's had just got a new shipment in. He had set some shoes and a duffle bag aside for Nick.

Hey, what’s up Asia and Lil’ Nick? I like those shoes lil’ homie, said Farhad, one of the store owners.

Lil’ Nick had on a Gucci sweatsuit and a pair of Gucci high top sneakers.

Wassup up, Farhad? You ain't find me nothing?

Yeah, I put a lil’ something up for you. Farhad was ringing Nick up. He stopped at a smaller Bally box and pulled out a pair of low top Bally sneakers and a matching belt.

Ask her what she got on it? Nick replied.

I got you. That’s what I got on it.  Hell you talkin’ ‘bout?

Farhad and Nick laughed at Asia's gangsta. She didn't look like the type, but Asia was a real street bitch.

Ok, Nick your total is three thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars. Farhad had finished ringing and bagging his clothes.

Nick, staying true to the ghetto hood nigga he was, pulled out a ten thousand dollar stack of rubber banded hundred dollar bills and counted the money out as country cool as he could. This was Nick’s style. Instead of using his card, he had to flex. Asia shook her head and rolled her eyes as Nick flexed in Georgio's.

One of the floor clerks helped them with their bags. Then, they left the mall in Nick's Audi Q7 SUV.

Sit down Lil’ Nick and put that seatbelt on before I buss you in the chest.

Asia cracked a smile at his ratchet parenting skills. She also had to love his gangsta because Nick was on his shit. As they rode, Nick had his gun in his lap and kept looking in and out his rear view.

What’s wrong, baby? Why you look like that? Nick was a nervous soul. But today he was looking like he was looking for something or somebody.

Greenbriar Mall baby, that's it. You know these niggas be wildin’ over this way and I don't play about y’all.

Asia laughed to herself because he was right. But what she couldn't understand is why would he rather go through this than just shop at the Bally store or Neiman’s and Saks where it was obviously safer. The answer was simple, Nick was a hood nigga and he was comfortable in that environment. Even though they both wore expensive jewelry, drove nice cars and Nick carried a lot of money on him at all times, his pistol was his answer.

Nick had something going on today because he dressed Lil’ Nick in Gucci and wanted her to wear the new watch he had just bought her, a limited edition Hublot Big Bang Boa Bang. Nick had just bought the twenty thousand dollar watch a few days ago along with a five thousand dollar Chanel drawstring bag.

Nick was doing better than he had ever been in the past. Salon Lavish was doing numbers and Nick had to be up because Asia was seeing more money than usual, and he was buying twenty thousand dollar watches. All they had to do was maintain and they would be able to have the life they dreamed of.

Where we going, daddy? Can we go to Dave and Buster today?

Asia started shaking her head. Man take this boy to Dave and Buster.

Nick was supposed to take Lil’ Nick to Dave and Buster, but Nick had been doing a lot of running back and forth out of town. Lil’ Nick was persistent though and would find a way to slip it in every chance he got. It was starting to wear Asia out.

I got you my dog. Nick cut his eyes at Asia and she looked at him. So?

We going now? asked Lil’ Nick.

Naw, just chill homie. It's your Momma turn to go shopping. Don't worry about Dave and Buster’s right now, but I got you though, later today, ok.

    Alright cool.

Nick turned the radio up to keep Asia and Nick from saying anything else. Asia elbowed him and he smiled and kept driving unfazed.

Nick headed towards downtown. He already knew she wanted to go to Neiman's at Lenox Mall. Nick ended up passing Lenox Mall and kept going up north on 400. She wanted to say something, but wherever they were going, it was about her so she kept quiet.

Robert and Dre stood on the show room floor standing in front of a hundred and eighty grand Audi R8 V10 plus coupe and a Bentley Bentayga.

I ain't even gonna ask how you worked up on that truck. Are we gone be able to eat off it? asked Robert.

They had finally sold the Drophead Phantom, a car that they basically had to rebuild. Dre bought the Phantom wrecked for seventy thousand and had put another fifty grand in it for repairs. It sat in the showroom for seven months before it sold for three hundred and twenty five thousand dollars. That one car had bought them the Audi that was on the floor, a BMW 760 and the Bentley truck.

You know that’s what I do, bro. I make shit happen. I told you my boy, Craig, from the police auction be coming up on shit. I found the truck and I got the other two at another auction. We gone do good on the truck though.

A white Audi Q7 on twenty-six inch rims had pulled in the lot and parked.

That’s ya boy ain't it? He switched up the rims.

Dre looked out at Nick pulling into the lot in the Audi he had previously sold him. Robert was right, Nick had changed the rims because he bought the truck on twenty fours. Dre had been fucking with Nick for a couple of years. Nick bought all of his cars from Dre.

Yeah, he did. He's here trading his wife's SRT Charger in. I’m going to try to get him to get her that S550 we just bought.

Dre, customer holding on line two, said the receptionist over the speaker.

Carl, help my man out in the Audi. He trying to find his wife a car. Try to get him to upgrade and trade in the Audi. I got somebody looking for one. I'll let you in on the sale if you can pull it off.

See what I can do, said Carl who was sitting behind his deck earshot away from Dre and Robert. He got up and walked outside.

Dre walked off, headed to his office to take the call.

Asia and Nick got out the car. As they got out the car, a young, clean-cut, White, boy walked out the dealership.

Welcome to Lux Motorsports. How can I help you guys today? The associate said, shaking Nick's hand then Lil’ Nick's.

I’m here to see Dre. Is he here?

Yeah, he's here. He had to take a call. He told me to take care of you. What you guys looking for today?

I'm here for her, so I'll tell you what, when she picks what she wants I’ll let you know.

Cool, I'll be inside. Just give me a holla and I'll get the keys for you.

    Bet, replied Nick.

The salesman walked back in the show room and Nick and Asia began to scout the lot.

Baby, you so rude, why you do him like that? asked Asia. Nick was one of those most unprofessional niggas with money she knew.

Do him like what, baby? He cool. Pick something out though. What you like?

Asia looked out over the lot and smiled. She didn't know what she wanted. She was happy with the SRT Charger. Hell, she had just got it seven or eight months ago.

Any other chick would've taken advantage of this situation, but Asia was thinking about tomorrow. Yeah, he was on now, but the game was so up and down. Two years ago, they were flat broke at one point for about a month or two, so she had learned to hold on to what she had.

Nick and Lil’ Nick followed her as she walked towards the Range Rover.

How about this silver Range? I need something big enough for me and Lil’ Nick and if we decide to have another child.

Nick looked at her and smiled. Another one, huh? So you ready?

Yeah, why not? Lil’ Nick’s out the way and you damn sure been hitting me like you want another one. So, how about the Range?

Nick laughed to himself. Oh, so it's me. He shook his head. You can get the Range, but not the old body style. Get the new one. My boy gone let me play so it’s cool. That means I gotta get a car though. Ain't no sense in both of us having a SUV. That Range is killing my Audi.

Asia looked at him. Yeah, so that’s what this is about, you shinning on me? Now I want the Maserati over there. Asia pointed at the Maserati in front of the Range.

Shit, that’s even better. Which one you want? Nick grinningly asked.

Asia knew that tone and face. The Range probably cost more. The Maserati was cool, but she really did need the extra space and the new Range Rover was hard as fuck. Nah, fuck that, tell ol' boy to bring me the keys to the Range.

Thirty minutes later the salesman was walking out the dealership with a temporary tag and the keys. While ol' boy put on the plates, Nick stood in the door while Lil’ Nick and Asia sat inside.

This you right here, baby, said Nick. The Range was fully loaded with Meridian surround sound and a rear seat entertainment system.

Uh hmm, Asia looked back at Nick who was in the backseat exploring the truck. You like it, Lil’ Nick?

Yes ma'am can you play something on the tv? Daddy can we watch a movie?

Yeah, I got you, Nick went in his pocket and gave her a thousand dollars. Give my sister a hundred. She's going to take Lil’ Nick and Lil’ Larry to Andretti. She’s going to keep him all weekend.

Well, I am going to give her two hundred since he gone be there all weekend and eating up all her food.

You can, but I just gave her a card to buy some food a couple of days ago. That's why Nick going over there for the weekend and be careful when you go over there.

Ok, baby, thank you, she leaned down and kissed him.

    You happy?

Yes, baby. You did it this time. I'm about to kill these hoes.

You suppose to baby. That's what we do. We going to the Flame tonight, too. I got us a section so bring ya homegirls. Larry wants to holla at Alicia.

Asia looked at him like, ‘yeah right’.

She'll come, but it ain't gone happen.

Why? She single. Larry ain't no broke nigga neither.

No he's not. But, don't nobody want no baby gorilla.

Nick started laughing, Don't do that baby. My boy gets hoes now.

Yeah broke hoes, low, self-esteem, hoes and sack chasers. He be better off trying Kesha.

He did. He said Kesha wanted too much for the pussy. She was talking about a Hermes bag and diamonds. That country nigga don't even know how to spell Hermes.

Asia left the dealership with Lil’ Nick and rode over to his sister Pumpkin's house in Summer Hill by the Brave's Stadium. She chilled over Pumpkin's house long enough to smoke and to touch up Pumpkin's hair before
