ROSIE glanced nervously at her partner, Nick, as they sat down.

The bank’s business adviser offered his hand. “I’m Andrew. What can I do for you?”

Rosie gripped Nick’s hand beneath the desk. “We’re hoping to open a café,” she said.

“Here in Penworth?” Andrew asked.

Rosie nodded. “We’ve found the perfect premises, with a two-year lease.”

“There are lots of cafés in town already,” Andrew said. “What will make yours different from the rest? Do you have a USP? That means-”

“A unique selling point.” Rosie smiled. “Yes. It’s going to be called the Cupcake Café. I’ve been making cupcakes for friends and family for years.”
