Faithful Anchored Blessed - Kerry-Ann Facey
CHAPTER ONE
She Understood the Assignment -God
Lord, I’m Available To You
- The Gospel Project
Writing this book was a kingdom assignment and not just an opportunity. I was given and accepted divine instruction, and it is my duty to always obey. So, I stepped boldly into God’s calling, where fear has no effect over my life.
So this is me walking in my confidence, sharing my story and blessing others, all while giving God the glory. I thank God for choosing and grooming me to complete this mission.
To do good and to use my journey as a testimony, to encourage others to trust God with their entirety. Not everyone is meant to support or understand your assignment, but be not discouraged. Heaven’s endorsement is and always will be far greater than man’s approval will ever be. I have confidence in the strength that God has instilled within me, that this book will touch someone’s heart the way God intended it to.
She speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
- Proverbs 31: 2 NIV
CHAPTER TWO
Praise Report
Yes Lord, Yes
- Shirley Caesar
Ithank you for choosing this book. It is a testimony of my life, walking in my faith and confidence, all with God’s strength.
I invite the Holy Spirit within your presence. I pray that anyone after reading this book will walk in their truth every moment of their lives. Our most High is worthy of our trust. I pray that the Lord will grant you a clear mind, open your heart and mind and that you will receive something anew from even at the minimum, one line within it.
I pray this book will be a blessing to you as it was an unimaginable blessing for me to have written it. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
Commit your actions to the Lord and your plans will succeed.
- Proverbs 16:3 NLT
CHAPTER THREE
Fearfully and Wonderfully Made
I Am Loved
- Maverick City Music
Glory be to God for everything that I am and everything I never imagined I would be.
My growth game is strong. One day I just woke up—different. Allow me to (re) introduce myself.
I am a proud mother and honored to be chosen as the mother of three beautiful children.
I am a proud owner of a licensed preschool enrichment program.
I am a daughter.
I am a sister; a baby sister at that. Yes, I am a big deal.
I am a proud auntie.
I am a friend.
I am a domestic violence survivor.
I am a warrior.
I am a force to be reckoned with.
Most importantly—
I am worthy.
I am enough.
I am a walking testimony.
I am rooted and grounded in love.
I am unashamed.
I am the head and not the tail.
I am above and not beneath.
I am a child of God.
I am God’s masterpiece.
I am the daughter of a king.
I am worthy of being loved, and I am so loved.
Now, I am a publisher and an author.
To some, this may seem ordinary. And to others, they know THIS was a journey.
God has given me the authority to know and declare unequivocally who I am, and who I am to him, made in his image. And so I’m all those things and even so much more. I am not saying that I am better than anyone else. I am simply saying I am no less than anyone else. Let me let you in on something that you may or may not know. You, too, are all these things and so much more. You need to remind yourself of these things every day. Why? Because the truth stands behind its words.
To the best of my ability, I make a conscious effort each day to portray the Nine Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5: 22-23). I express love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Sometimes, possessing these attributes allows you to
