The information in this book on being transformed is designed to help you change your life from the inside out, or from the heart. It is meant to help new believers begin their walk with the Lord on the “right foot.” The author has met several Christians who confuse their salvation with their walk with the Lord. They are separate events!
One lady she met expressed her disappointment and confusion about being a Christian. She thought that once she accepted Jesus as her Savior, she would not have any more problems. She did not know that Jesus wants to guide us through our problems and bring us to a better understanding of what is involved in the Christian walk.
The author attended a church in Phoenix, Arizona where the pastor, now deceased, taught his congregation how to use the teachings of the Bible and God’s promises to change their lives. She has used this method many times with success and now walks in the peace and love of God.

AT 28 I WAS A MESS !!!

I was a believer in Jesus Christ, and, my insides were black; my stomach was twisted into knots from worry and anxiety.

Tormenting thoughts of guilt, shame and condemnation screamed at me day and night! The only time I had peace was when I had to concentrate on my work or when I was sleeping.

I was tired, all I wanted was p e a c e.......Help me LORD!

Praise the LORD He heard me and helped me. I did what I needed to do using appropriate scriptures, and promises in the Bible.

As I cooperated with the Holy Spirit...

I eventually experienced P E A C E and J O Y !

We don’t have much control over our lives growing up but, as adults we can choose to be different; with the help of God, His Word, good books, good counselors, wise family members, and friends. Neither Satan, nor my past, nor the human desires of my flesh has the power to continue my captivity to ignorant, weird, sinful, unfruitful, unloving, unproductive, defeating thoughts, attitudes and habits.

I know that others have had far more tragic experiences growing up than I did. Thank God I did not have more damage to repair. I could not have changed at all without the teachings of God in the Bible, his promises, his grace (unmerited favor), his strength, and especially, his help for me to persevere until the change I desired was realized.

TRANSFORMED FROM

THE INSIDE OUT!

In certain areas, of my life I do not pretend to walk righteously. I have right actions in specific areas b e c a u s e

***I HAVE RIGHT THINKING***

based on the thoughts and the will of God revealed in the Bible concerning those chronic problems, that I needed to overcome at the time, such as:

Worry and Anxiety,

Practicing abstinence and other sexual

behavior while dating,

Becoming a G I V E R, no longer a major, selfish TAKER!

All of these problem areas that I overcame took time; some areas changed quicker than others, some areas still need work. Changes take time because our THINKING has to be changed. AND we have to come to the place where we believe that God will perform His promises for you and for me!

ARE YOU STUCK IN THE DEW, I WAS!

D = Do I/you DESERVE it?

E = Did I/you EARN it?

W = Am I/you WORTHY of it?

The answers to these questions are NO! NO! NO!

Jesus Christ is the only one who is worthy!

I John 4:9-10 (New Living translation) God showed how much he loved us by sending his only Son into the world so that we may have eternal life through him. This is real love. It is not that we loved God but that God loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins and bring us back to the Father.

John 3:16-17 (New Living translation) "For God so loved (every person in the past, present and future) world, that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it."

In the late 1960’s my mother and I attended a small church in Phoenix, Arizona. The pastor taught us how to use the teachings of the Bible and God’s promises to overcome life’s chronic, difficult problems, bad habits, personality defects…etc.
