Alex lounged on her deck overlooking the beach and sighed, deciding to take a walk before getting ready for work. She’d been employed at Dawson Inc. for the last month and a half but had never met her boss. He was supposed to be arriving today with a group of stockholders.

It had taken her almost six months to get the job and she knew having a sister that worked in their New York offices had helped.
