We were going to be five days in Marseille for the Marsatac music festival. Marsatac was a three day event featuring many groups -- primarily electronic music, and dub. On Sunday some African music would be featured as well. The event was sold out, and there would be over 35,000 people in attendance. For us, the Green Fly, it was a really big show.

We got through customs with our baggage and decks intact. Richie's friend, a local, met us with a van and we piled in. We cut a record deal in the Spring and this was the first time we were invited to a festival as large as Marsatac, so it was a big deal for us to be in Marseille.

As soon as I stepped out of the back of the van, and onto the side walk, I fell in love with Marseille. The architecture, the streets, the colors were all amazing. I knew I could live there and be happy.

What do you think Cat? Richie asked me.

I think I'm going to love it here, I told him.

Well, you get to love it for five days, and then we're off to Paris, he chided me. "Let's get inside
