About this ebook

Samantha has much to say to Michael, her husband and the father of their lovely daughter, Sydney. She needs him to be the man he once was.

She needs him to awaken the love she knows is in his heart. She needs him to live his life because she is slipping away. She is beginning to fade and that is something she just doesn’t want. She pleads with him, she send him signals, she works very hard and yet, he doesn’t seem to be listening.

She loves him, dearly but, she feels it starting, she feels herself starting to vanish and she needs him to help her stay where she is. Will he ever hear her?

Keep this in mind, we hear you.

This is not to say you have to stop. No, not at all. We like it; it’s comforting. Actually, there’s kind of a hierarchy up here, sort of like boarding school, you know. The kids who get the most mail, the best packages, they’re envied for the love that’s obviously shed on them from family and friends. Those kids have a little more social stock than the ones who get no mail or packages. It’s silly and, you’d think that here, things would be different, more adult, less … human, I guess. It’s not. It’s got the same feeling in some ways. In other ways, well … there’s nothing like it, at all, anywhere. Think of your best vacation, your favorite day, the best date, best meal … think of anything you consider the best or the most and then, multiply that by about a zillion and you’re still not even close to how things are here. It’s perfect but still, it’s important to hear from you so, don’t stop.

Also, you need to listen. You do; you need to listen. More than you think you are. Apply the same kind of mathematical thinking
