About this ebook
This book is expressively about what I had encountered in my personal and family life throughout the years. The contents written are real life experiences. Names in some instances are not used in order to be respectful and protective of individuals who is part and parcel of what I have written. The core of the writing is to give honour and glory to God for His mercies and to highlight that He never turned His back on us no matter how messed up we may be or have been in life. It is always of healing from years of pain and suffering.
Clementine
The Author is a retired Registered Nurse, Midwife and Mental Health Nurse. She is a wife and mother of five with a blended family of 7; husband wife with three adult sons, two daughters, 24 grand and two great grandchildren. She is a born again Christian, Holy Ghost filled committed Christian and has been serving the Lord for the past forty two years. My relentless faith in God has brought me through many circumstances in life which could cause me to give up but through Christ I was able to persevere amidst the odds. During these moments of challenging times was when I had the direction from God to write a book to tell my story. I believe anyone who reads a copy of this book will be challenged in their faith in God to hold on amidst their circumstances and set backs; that God does answer prayers but He answers in is own time and supplies our need as He sees fit. We have to die daily to the deeds of the flesh so His will and purpose can come alive in us.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
F irst, Clementine gives honour to God for giving her the direction to initiate this process and to see it to completion.
She would like to take time out to acknowledge the following persons who have given their time sacrificially to assist in putting this manuscript together.
(Cora-not her real name), A retired Registered Nurse, a batchmate in nursing school and colleague with whom she had worked at the same Hospitals simultaneously in their country of origin and in this country where they reside with their family; two weeks apart from each other. They have been friends for the past forty four years. Each time they’ve seen or spoken to each other it’s always refreshing. Thanks to her daughter Jonie (not her real name) who took time out of her busy schedule to edit and put things in their right perspective to get to this final point.
Thanks to Sister Claire (not her real name), who assisted for a portion but was not able to continue with the completion due to scheduling issues. Last but certainly not the least:
Clementine is expressing appreciation to her son and her husband and daughter for encouraging and inspiring her to write. When she informed them that some things expressed on the pages of this manuscript would be sensitive which would include them; they assured her that it was not about them, it was about what she had encountered; encouraging her to proceed. Special thanks to her counsellor with whom she consulted re her decision to write; who made no personal contribution to it’s contents. Surely everyone has played a tremendous role in getting her to this point. Most of all this could NEVER materialise without God’s direction. He was the one who made all things possible. All glory and honour goes to Him who gave her the strength, the perseverance, time spent during those wee hours of the morning in preparation. God is good He made all things well. Some days as she wrote she evidenced the presence of the Holy Spirit moving her to tears, putting her on pause just to glorify God. He is truly an amazing God.
DEDICATION
T his book is dedicated first in honour to God ; to her husband of forty three years, her five adult children; her 24 grand children and her two great grand children. Thank God for their love and on going support over the years.
INTRODUCTION
T he author of this manuscript Clementine Sultan, was born the eighth child to a West Indian couple in the year 1954, a family of seventeen, eight of whom predeceased her, one murdered in his late thirties. Clementine grew up to be an avid reader, eager to learn, multi-talented and career focused at an early age. She was raised with her parents and siblings until the age of thirteen. During the years in between and attending school in her community, she was not successful at passing the entrance exam which would place her in a prominent High School back then, though quite capable . Her teacher voiced concerns to her parents and suggested a change of environment. Clementine also had dreams and aspirations of her own from as early as the age of eight years. She fantasised about being a nurse ; she also wanted to be a musician which had not yet materialised. She was passionate about singing and managed to succeed in this area to an extent . Her first public exposure to singing was at the age of ten when she led the alto part on the Sunday School choir at a concert in a local Pentecostal church. She also sang on school choirs, church choirs and sang solos at church rallies, concerts. On migration she sang with a gospel Trio, FGH ministries in the country she currently resides, between 2001 and 2016. These will be elaborated on later. She started this manuscript since the year 2000 at age 46 and had gotten to the end of the third chapter. Due to the encumberances of life, she somehow lost the drive to complete it and set it a side. As she began to refocus her thoughts and assessed where she needed to be with God and with aging; she continued to submit herself to God’s direction ; taking a more in depth look into her future, the need to grow from level to level spiritually. She was not satisfied with where she was and so she started out with self examination spending more time in the word, prayer and fasting. She was refreshed and spiritually renewed and started afresh over the last three years directed by the Holy Spirit. She accidentally bumped into a journal on September 30 th 2021 while searching for some documents; safely tucked away. She discovered on opening it’s pages that she had started her autobiography since the year 2000 which included careful research of her birthname and it’s origin; researched and documented. This changed the whole dynamics on her approach to completing this manuscript. Throughout all her personal challenges she came out as a victor as God never abandoned her. She never stopped believing that she was divinely covered. She overcame by her faith in God, studying His word through personal devotional activities, participating, in bible studies, God’s revelations and prophetic words pronounced over her life, personal encounters with God, miracles of healing in hers and the lives of her family members. As she struggled through her circumstances, spent time one to one with God, asked Him to direct her re His plans, will and purpose; she continued to receive revelations from the Lord at intervals as she sought Him through prayer, fasting and meditation for answers. This was when she was directed by the Holy Spirit to write a book. Ironically, Clementine had totally forgotten that this was not the first instruction she’s had to write hence recovering this served as a motivation to continue. The contents written twenty one years ago assisted her in pursuing it’s compilation and completion.
After having gone through all the difficulties experienced in her life and realising that through it all God had kept her ; she began to feel a sense of hope and feeling revived, which motivated her to work on that which God had purposed in her to do and all the goals she had in mind. As she prayed and sought the Lord’s direction on how to stir up what was happening inside of her, this was how the Title ‘Rejuvenated to Give Praise’ was birthed. She will elaborate further. Clementine trust that the core contents of this manuscript will bless the hearts of those will read it in it’s entirety, thanking everyone for their support in purchase and your prayers
