INTRODUCTION
In my book I try to keep my thoughts simple so that a child can understand them, yet I allow adults to get into the substance of the words. Also, I have included at the end of each passage an attempt to convey what each passage means to me. However, I don’t have the final say; you do. Whatever my words convey, express, or provoke in you is right. I just want to stimulate and provoke thought within you, the reader.

—LET’S GO—
THE JOURNEY BEGINS. . .
THE DAY AMERICA CRIED
Tuesday, September 11, 2001
America cried, like an infant just being born. She was smacked as America’s worst fears came to fruition; mentally, physically, emotionally, and economically, America was devastated. America’s children fearful, America’s officials outraged, society’s tears spilling all over this great land. Dreams lost, innocence gone, hopes dash—and thousands dead! A sense of doom vibrates across the
