Note to the Reader:

I am surprised to be here. To begin this work so near the end of life may be indicative of some deeper purpose that zealous youth, nor prime era, could have conveyed. Surely, I bear in my body and soul the reckoning of years spent longing for the purpose that confronts destiny's opportunity.

My souls' deepest dreams have thrashed against the silent obscurity that mocked my hope. My hope has held fervent in JESUS. My faith is steeled against doubt. This living hope and resilient expectation abides because my faith in JESUS does not surrender. My faith is JESUS.

Had I been born ordinarily and lived thus far in tranquil unremarkable seasons of revelry I could melt into eternity unnoticed. However, from the timelessness before the womb my Savior has commissioned my soul to Himself. He has chosen me for His Kingdom. He has established my life to testify of His mercy, grace, might, and redeeming power.

Until these words are written, and read, or any others spoken, I strain against frustration. I am captured and subdued by hope.

I sigh within the hidden place beneath His wings. I continue to prepare while trusting His timing. I know only one certainty. Some time, just ahead of now, there is a moment when destiny's threshold is crossed. This is the compulsion of my expectancy. This is the ends beginning.

Here and now upon this paper as you read these words, this is the beginning when darkness ends because light shines. Sorrow ends by joys dawning. I believe my journey written here will help you end bondage and begin freedom. As you read this journey, journey with JESUS through the Pathways of Your Heart.

I testify to you with joyful gratitude that the significant and outrageous truths that follow are proclaimed from my humble heart. I celebrate the triumphant love of The Lord GOD that accompanies me every moment of my journey. I invite you to believe the love of the Lord GOD also accompanies you every moment of your journey.

JESUS, my Sovereign King, has freed me from an internal prison of self-hate and shame. JESUS has disrobed my countenance, my heart, and my mind from the victims' shroud and shackles of rejection. JESUS has poured new wine of joy into my soul. JESUS has poured His peace like fresh oil upon my mind.

I am healed from the emotional, intellectual, and spiritual wounds of my past. I do not exaggerate or imagine when I testify that even some old physical scars have also faded until I cannot easily see them.

JESUS has given me hope. JESUS has provided my deliverance. JESUS has anchored me to Him forever. I can re-examine my past for the purpose of this book as a testimony of GODs' great mercy towards me. I know my past does not own me. I belong to JESUS.

Immediately after I understood that I was to write this book I knew I would not be able to write this book unless JESUS used my hand while I held my pen.

I have known that unless JESUS speaks my thoughts this endeavor is empty and fruitless. Unless JESUS leads me, my life is only existence.

Since JESUS is companioning me as I write, I am certain JESUS is a companion to you as you read. My life's journey is punctuated by events and images that I recall here to neither harm nor offend but rather to promote love and hope in GOD.

I recall just now a lesson from JESUS I am still learning. JESUS does not perform the miraculous in my life so I can gloat or glory. It is of small importance what I have survived or endured. JESUS is miraculous in my life for His glory.

With the turn of a page, your life and my life converge upon this place of meeting in time. All the detours, wilderness or desert experiences, could not prevent our meeting to begin this glorious work. In the mind of GOD is one
