Exploring Divine Peace
Let the adventure begin. Fathoming and plundering divine peace is an undertaking worthy of extreme effort. It promises to be more powerful than any human emotion or nefarious stronghold, more central to destiny than imagined, and critically essential to living an inspired life.
Divine peace is like the nuclear bomb to fear, anxiety or distraught emotions and feelings. It is virtually unexplainable. When it comes in, the atmosphere changes rapidly and stays changed for as long as divine peace remains. People recalibrate, situations gain a different perspective and selfishness is exposed for the fake satisfier that it is.
Divine peace comes with resources, emotional, physical and spiritual. The most important resource is spiritual empowerment. As our spirit is at the core of our being, a quickened spirit works from the inside out. In our spirit, there is an alignment with Heaven as divine peace brings the authority and presence of Holy Spirit into us. The emotional resource is a calmed mind, able to put out fear and anxiety. This peace seeks out and destroys harmful thoughts, thinking and strongholds. The physical resource is the realignment of our strength and wellbeing to the peace that now passes our understanding. Less tension, less fog, less stress, more peace.
As peace exposes and disarms the false satisfiers of selfish ambition, greed, unforgiveness and any other counterfeit satisfaction-providers, relationships can start to mend and rebuild. You can only heal when you are not in the ‘fight or flight’ mode. Divine peace puts you into a healing and growing space.
Divine peace also calls to your destiny, deep inside your core. It empowers what was set, but impossible, in our own strength. Your purpose, your creativity, your reason for being are all enhanced, highlighted and energised through the presence of divine peace.
As a final note, divine peace stills our hearts and best prepares us to encounter God. He is called the Prince of Peace, and in His presence is fullness of joy. You need divine peace to orient your being, recalibrate your thinking and prepare you for life-changing encounters.
Enjoy your exploration!
Beyond Powerless Religion
You start by being immersed in a new reality. Thrown into the deep end of experiencing more. Put away all distractions; you will need all of your senses awakened to grasp what you are about to encounter.
Each line can speak a divine truth to your heart. Each stanza can give a fresh vision of who you were made to be and the divine destiny you can walk in.
The poem ends with promise, identity and a calling to bring the kiss of Heaven to earth.
I don't know if I discovered this poem or it discovered me. After a very difficult season, I just wanted to know a better life that was pleasing to God and free from man-made religion.
Beyond Powerless Religion
It’s shocking! Extraordinarily different!
We star in God’s grandiose show,
Where our hearts are overwhelmed,
And we have a part in seeing love grow.
It’s all-embracing! All in, just like Him,
Exploring, discovering, senses blown asunder,
In it for destiny’s sake, for eternity,
Fresh each day, filled with awe and wonder.
A life-union. A partnership. A family,
This is the connection we’re wired for,
Where fulfilment is complete, love intense,
And God is busting to show us more.
So is the life of non-religion,
An infusion with God’s Holy Spirit,
This is what Jesus told us, showed us,
That we might embrace life without limit.
To know God and joyfully walk with Him,
From fear and longing, see creation’s release,
To walk with authority as sons and daughters,
Bringing healing, wholeness, and divine peace.

The Power of Shalom Peace
Yes, you are awesome. Designed to walk in divine power, joy and peace. You may want to read this poem out loud, first to yourself, then to anyone you sense may benefit from the power embedded in the words.
The revelation was this: Shalom (God's) peace is like a nuclear bomb to fear, anxiety and torment. Yet, it is the embracing, refreshing, invigorating place of safety prepared for you.
The Power of Shalom Peace
To the weary ones who are spent,
Troubled, vexed and discontent,
I speak release,
Of shalom peace,
And see their troubles relent.
To the searching hearts who need more,
Ones desperate to find out what’s in store,
I speak release,
Of shalom peace,
Unlocking the destiny they’re created for.
To the addicted souls lost in lust,
Their dreams have failed and turned to dust,
I speak release,
Of shalom peace,
To encounter the One whom they can trust.
To my family and friends whom I love,
May they experience God’s goodness from above,
I speak release,
Of shalom peace,
The Spirit descends upon them as a dove.
For my God is the source of Shalom sweet,
The dark powers will encounter defeat,
When I speak release,
Of His shalom peace,
He totally crushes them under my feet.

Peace At Last
Want to go on a boat ride with Jesus on board? Ok to totally lose yourself as long as He is right there?
Jesus speaks the truth about your identity, authority and ability to partner with Holy Spirit to bring a peace that passes understanding.
The more I walk with God, the more normal the extraordinary seems. The key for me was finding His will and then taking hold of the resources that I find provided.
Peace At Last
The Boat Crew Speak:
Don’t you know that we are drowning?
About to die very, very soon?
This boat we’re in is doomed for sure,
Water’s filling up all the room.
We’re panicking now; it’s extreme!
We’ve lost all hope we’ll stay alive,
Where’s Jesus? Sleeping in the rear?
Does He not know we won’t survive?
Jesus Awakens:
Well, boys, I see you're in utmost distress,
Why did not you deal with this gale before?
You have the authority to calm the storm,
You chose to discount what you had in store.
Peace to the wind! Be still, you storm!
You shall not breach our Father’s plan,
There, it’s still, and we’ve arrived here,
At the place where we want to land.
The Boat Crew Again:
Who is this One who stills the storm?
We’ve not seen stuff like this before!
Yet He tells us we’ve missed our chance,
To draw on strength placed in our core.
The storm still took us to our goal,
Even after its fierce shower,
Fretted, panicked, thought we were dead,
Yet Jesus had endued us with power.
Okay, Jesus, we start to see,
That You’ve given a gift not seen,
From divine peace inside comes relief,
A whole new way from what has been.

Fresh Start
If you have ever blown it, mucked up, or got it really wrong, then this poem is for you. If you've been too distracted, preoccupied with the wrong or just boring stuff, then this poem is for you.
If you have been highly successful, are on top of your game, need nothing else, then this poem is for you. You need to recalibrate, realign, and discover the path that leads to eternal life. Much help is provided, and I trust you can experience a little of it in this poem.
How many times have I blown it in life? Too often, it seems. This poem tells of what happens again and again. As I turn to God, it seems He is more eager than me for a restored relationship.
Fresh Start
Your grace I missed as I ran my race,
I took control; I set my pace.
But without You playing a central part,
I face reality with a broken heart.
To begin again is what I need,
Before You God, my case, I plead.
My life so far seems dull and spent,
As opportunities came and went.
Broken for Your love I’ve missed.
I sense the loss of Heaven’s kiss.
I had the chance to know You more,
Please hear my cry at Heaven’s door.
You come to me gently, softly it seems,
Waters of peace flood over in streams.
Your love is increasing, upping the pace,
You invite me to come closer face to face.
You come to me, set my heart on fire,
This passion, this grace, fulfilling desire.
I never imagined You would be this way,
This love, this joy, I just need to stay.
Close to Your heart is where I must be,
Your words of life unlock destiny!
A destiny fuelled with passion from above,
An eternity filled with Your grace and love.

Cease Striving
This poem goes to where our logic can not take us. It wrestles with our have-to-do mindset, showing us how best to enhance our position before God.
Hopefully, with some divine help, you will sense a wave of peace in your heart and soul as you work through each stanza. From the sanctum of stilling your heart, may you be blessed with a wonderful connection to God and much peace to your being.
'I thought I could sort out this God stuff by myself, but I failed again. Part of it worked, but there are a few issues.' Do my words sound like yours?
I have realised that I am a work in progress when it comes to knowing God. He invites me to come back to the point of ceasing to strive.
Cease Striving
You say cease striving and know You are God,
But to my way of thinking, that seems quite odd,
If I am to pursue You,
Follow my life through,
How do I find You while traversing this sod?
It must relate to the struggle I feel inside,
How to transcend all the things I’ve tried?
I want certainty, please,
From confusion release,
A tangible reality that will abide.
You say by loving You, I can do all things,
Let’s explore this and see what it brings,
Will Your presence be near?
Drive away all fear?
Fill me with joy and give my heart wings?
I love the wonder of this still yet vibrant life,
Help me turn away from torturing strife,
Have more peace and then,
Feel stirred inside again,
Help me be still as Your presence is rife.

Overcoming Fear
Just as there is a spiritual aspect to love, the same can apply to fear. Fear too often wreaks havoc to our soul and terrorises our spirit. It is like we are under attack from vexatious thoughts, panicked emotions, unusual physical sensations.
This poem sees the Prince of Peace walking with us to diminish the crippling fear we all experience at times.
Fear has been an ongoing issue for me to deal with. It has been a true God-send to discover divine help.
Overcoming Fear
Fear is not my friend,
He comes and tries to pretend,
That he has power to impart,
But he only gives false starts.
Fear is a coward I’ve found,
When Jesus appears he’s not around,
He flees when affronted by grace,
Goes back to his darkened place.
Fear has some friends that are around,
None of them bring peace or astound,
No love they bring, not even a trace
They never stand before God’s face.
Fear comes only to lie, cheat and steal,
Pretends to be powerful, but it isn’t real,
He spends his time in bluff and bluster,
Not having the strength that love can muster.
How should I treat him? Do you know?
Should I be frightened and terror show?
I want to overcome this vile fiend,
