The Heartbreaker series is a spin-off of the Bank Street Stories series, which consists of nine books and a novella.

Summary of B-Side A Romance by Brooke St. James - Justin Reese

    Chapter 1

    Grace Bailey

    Galveston, Texas

    Nine years ago

I HAD ALWAYS BEEN A follow-the-rules type of girl. So, this thing that happened with Alec Abramson really sent my family and me reeling Alec Abramson was my first and only boyfriend. We hit it off instantly and started dating in September of our freshman year. I was with Alec for a whole year and we had been talking about having premarital sex. I justified it and I let it happen.

    Chapter 2

    League City, Texas

    Nine years later

Iwas still hopelessly in love with Alec during our sophomore year of high school. I finally got over him during our junior and senior years, after he broke the hearts of about ten other girls. Aside from his inability to have a healthy relationship with a woman, he had it all together. He was a talented musician who started a rock band with his equally talented twin brother. The boy grew up in Galveston, Texas, but didn't know how he ended up in League City, Texas.

Nursery school picnics are a big deal in the community, with raffles and prizes like trips and cars. "I would be cautious and sit in the back of the tent where it was shaded and I couldn't
