About this ebook

A Mother's Heart is a seven-day devotional of prayer and meditation. This devotional guides you through God's word, as it relates to your child and parenting based on scripture. Pierre relates some of her own personal experiences with her son in some of the chapters. Written with the goal of inspiring you to bring you closer to Jesus in your parenting journey and provide prayers designed to cover your child.

Each chapter covers what you and your child may experience, such as forgiveness, time and relationship, the importance of prayer and even forgiving yourself at times, as a parent. I relate each topic to scripture from God's word. Prayer is so powerful and important for your child and as a parent. This devotional is meant to inspire and direct you to a closer relationship to Jesus. It should inspire you to pray even more for your child and provide that protective covering for your son or daughter. I hope you enjoy it.

All children are a gift, not just biological children.  God loves adopted and fostered children.  We should always remember this as stepparents and foster parents.  God gives us love in our hearts for these children.  He says we are all fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

God loves our special needs children.  He can use them for wondrous works for His kingdom.  They are a special gift; in that, their disability heightens them to discover their gifts and talents in other ways.  Their disability can bring them closer to God and fulfill a purpose that will affect many in the kingdom of God through their testimony.  These children are special.  God does not make mistakes.  He bestows upon these children an incredibly special commission to perform.  He takes what the world may consider as disadvantaged into the
