About this ebook
"Without a doubt, Franki possesses a rare gift of distilling life’s complexity into everyday words." - David Tensen. Author of ‘The Wrestle’ and ‘So I Wrote You a Poem’.
How to Find Love in the Dark, is a book of poems dedicated to trauma, anxiety and rediscovering faith despite the suffering. A journey through death and resurrection. In both the warmth of the sun and its blistering heat. It is here, that we find our true self and discover how to live in the tension between the trauma and the beauty.

FOREWORD
How to write an introduction with beauty and brevity the way Franki writes his poetry? I’m not sure. But I will try.
A mentor’s joy is fulfilled when they come across latent talent just waiting for the right time and place to emerge. When Franki joined the Poetry Chapel Collective and shared some of his early poems, everybody in the gathering knew they had witnessed the discovery of something beautiful and life-giving. Without a doubt, Franki possesses a rare gift of distilling life’s complexity into everyday words. As a poet, he is akin to a minimalist interior designer. You will walk onto the pages of this book, look around at the very carefully selected and placed words and think, ‘Dang! That’s very clever. I like it here.
