"Runes: A Chakral Journey" is not your ordinary book on runes. Although descriptions are made for those that are not familiar, this book is designed to use the runes as a guide through the chakra system for healing. These have been separated into associated chakra and element to help with those who wish to incorporate that into their personal practice and workings as well. The chakras are also layed out in detail for those not familiar with this system as well as a part on making a binding in your spell craft. I have ended this book with a section created as a bonus with runic astrology. All images have been designed by me and I also use a deck I made in 2020 for images.

About the author

Morrigan Ravenchild began his witchcraft and spiritual journey back in 1996. Over the years and decades of practice he has studied under the many and various boxes that are in the craft. In late 2020, Morrigan had a download from the Akasha and now just considers himself a mind witch. He has been reading runes just as long (at time of publishing for 25 years) and runes are his divination tool of choice.

His personal path as of time of publishing in 2021 is that of Traditional Witchcraft/Spiritual. This mix and studying is what gives him the insights and knowledge of the runes/chakra healing that he has become known for in his public image and knowledge shared.

Foreward

It is with all intents and purposes to fill these pages with any and all knowledge of the ancient and powerful runes that I have acquired over two decades.

The way I have designed this book covers all of the runes of the Elder Futhark but also does cover associated chakras and elements as well. The runes are separated into the different associations but done so in a way that will give you, the reader, a very deep and immersive dive into understanding your runes and the interpretations in a reading, but also, the many different ways you can use them in other forms of your personal practice.

I begin first with a chapter explaining the different chakras and what they are to give the reader a better understanding of the content of this guide. From there, we begin diving into the individual runes and their chakral and elemental correspondences. We then dig into sigils/bindings for various protections and workings for the self as well as others in workings. We then move on to the layouts for doing readings for yourself as well as others. (for the images) I also use the rune cards I designed and printed in 2020 for the course of this book. We close with runic astrology as a bonus I have put together for the sole purpose of this book.

The Chakras

Although there are 112 chakras, we will only be focusing on the core seven in this book. This chapter i am writing as a forebearer to the runes themselves to give you (in case you have no knowledge of these) the knowledge of them and why I have designed and also teach this publicly.

In each of these seven, I will be giving you what they are and different ways to unblock them. Meditations, crystals, affirmations, and more will be covered in each of these to give you a basis to start with when working with your runes. Yes, obviously you can use runes without all of this, but I feel and have discovered many years ago that when you merge at least the runes with chakra healing and meditation, it certainly does make a difference in the overall use and experience of your set. So without further ado, let's begin with the Root!

THE ROOT CHAKRA

The root chakra or Muladhara is the first chakra of the seven chakra system. It is in this chakra that one can begin their healing journey and learn so much about themselves. This is located at the base of the spine, the perineum, and first three vertebrae of the spine. This is what is responsible for your sense of security, safety, and well-being. In order to master the other chakras, you must first learn to open/unblock this one first! You cannot build a house from the roof down, so is the same concept with chakra work.

The root chakra in its basics is feeling grounded and stable and is connected to the element of Earth as well. Earth energy is the energy of stability, patience, honesty, balance, and resourcefulness. When we are grounded and feel stability, only then can we move forward and upwards.
