    Acknowledgment:

2 Cor. 4:6, "...hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.  The spirit is the candle of The Lord and that His light must be reflected upon The Face of The Lord.  Prov. 20:27 The 'Sweet Psalmist' was in essence the 'candle of The Lord.'  2 Samuel 23:2, The Spirit of the LORD spake by me, …  Be sweet in your soul" (taught to me in Bible School) and let The Lord speak through you.

    2 Samuel 23:1-7 (KJV)

1 Now these be the last words of David. David the son of Jesse said, and the man who was raised up on high, the anointed of the God of Jacob, and the sweet psalmist of Israel, said,

2 The Spirit of The LORD spake by me, and His word was in my tongue.

3 The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.

4 And he shall be as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, even a morning without clouds; as the tender grass springing out of the earth by clear shining after rain.

5 Although my house be not so with God; yet He hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure; for this is all my salvation, and all my desire, although He make it not to grow.

6 But the sons of Belial shall be all of them as thorns thrust away, because they cannot be taken with hands:

7 But the man that shall touch them must be fenced with iron and the staff of a spear; and they shall be utterly burned with fire in the same place.

II Samuel 23:5, Although my house be not so with God; yet He hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure: for this is all my salvation, and all my desire, although He make it not to grow.  David’s' heart, was a genuine heart after 'God's own Heart.'  Ref.  Psalm 31:15, My times are in Thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.  Psalm 18; Psalm 18:19-26

David's heart delighted in The Lord but because of the decisions made he missed out on many blessings, even though he had a deeper desire for God.  Even though his times were in God's hands, we have to be mindful of the decisions we make in our daily life.  God has eternal life for us if we're willing to receive what He has for us. We have to be willing to say, 'not my will LORD, but thine will be done.'  Luke 22:42 For when we have 'all delight in The LORD,' then He can truly reign within us and we may receive the victory.  Where there is victory there is peace.

    His Mercy Endureth Forever

His reign is forever because His mercy is forever.  Enduring mercy testifies of a strong and mighty God.  With a strong heart that beats throughout the ages.  With every beat that loved every soul throughout all ages.  A loving God that tries the reins of men’s souls. The Kingdom Maker from Heaven to Earth that knows tries and purifies heart, body and soul of all.  From everlasting to everlasting, His reign is forever.  Rom. 16:26; Matt. 24:35, Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.

Psalm 136:26, O give thanks unto The God of Heaven: for His mercy endureth for ever.

Jeremiah 33:11, "The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice
