Thank you for the grace, Daddy.

    Preface—A WORD FROM THE AUTHOR

    26689.png

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A VERY active person all my life. One day, the Lord sat me down and asked me to slow down to hear from him. After this period, the words of the Lord continue to resonate in me and therefrom the statement, You all do not know my secrets, how then will you serve me rightly? I was frozen and started to ask God to reveal his secrets and how we can know them.

This is a global problem among the community of believers. It is even causing a whole lot of people to have a misstep and calamitous errors in trying to search out the Lord. The secrets and operations of God are inexhaustible and he gives out in asking and without repentance. Can two walk together, except they be agreed? and Sure the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. (Amos 3:3,7)

With this made to understand, that God is not satisfied with his people not knowing his secrets and operations. However, glory be to God for his unending wishes to make people know him, his secrets, and operations for those desiring to search him out.

I sincerely pray that little as this book may be, (this is an inexhaustible topic) the Lord will use it immensely and without limit to reach out and open our minds to his understanding.

Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come. (Ps. 71:18)

    OPENING—THE SECRETS OF GOD

    26573.png

T HE SECRETS OF GOD ARE infinite , and the depths of search and discovery depends on your relationship with him. To delve into the secrets of God therefore and to know them is to accept the existence, authority, and the deity of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever. (John 14:6,16)

The greatest and the ultimate secret of God is Jesus Christ. He is the supreme secret of God and beside him exists no other secret. It has to be understood clearly that you can only come to the Father through his Son that he (God) has provided us an advocate and intermediary. My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. (1 John 2:1-2) (Further reading—John 6:37,45)

The secrets of God are endless! However, in divulging his secrets, one must not be under illusion of any sort. God’s revelation can only be revealed to you in relation to the degree or growth within your personal relationship with him. It is troubling for the children of God not to know the secrets of their Heavenly Father. Yet, joyfully God himself has made it possible for his children to know his nature and secrets. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. (1 Cor. 2:11) Understanding the nature and secrets of God are laid out for those who have resolved to serve the Lord and obey his voice. The atmosphere of trust, faith, love, and complete obedience to his laws and ordinances must prevail. Joshua was at crossroads of what to do when he asked the Israelites to make up their minds about how to live their life. They (Israelites) had been admonished to do away with strange gods in their midst. Ultimately, it became known to them that their survival and existence depended on God but not without great trials lasting hundred of years. Until then, their promise was only lip served. And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey. (Joshua 24:24)

Also very importantly, for one to know the secrets of God and his nature, he/she must be a perfect replica of whom you profess to serve (Eph. 5:1,2). The disciples in Acts 11:26, would not have been called Christians first in Antioch if not for image of Jesus Christ found upon them. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. (Luke 6:44)

Friendship with God is the perfect solution to the revealing of the secrets of God. God your Creator wants you to be in perfect harmony with him to enjoy his peace thereby unlocking the treasure store of his secrets. God called Abraham his friend—Isaiah 41:8, James 2:23. And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; (Gen. 18:17) This succinctly summarizes the kind of relationship that existed between Abraham and God. It is a perfect example of, Can two walk together, except they be agreed? (Amos 3:3) Unlike our earthly parents who may want to keep secrets from their children, our Heavenly Father however takes the greatest delight in our knowing his secrets in order that we may enjoy the well-planned relationship he has for us. (Gen. 1:26-28) "But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets . . . ." (Dan. 2:28) Daniel’s memory was not lost to the powers and wisdom of God. He was faced with a life or death situation interpreting the dream of king Nebuchadnezzar. (Further reading—Dan. 2:1-49) He went straight to God taking with him his trusted prayer partners (v17), as he urgently desired the secrets of the king’s dream be revealed (v18). You clearly have to walk perfectly with God. Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. (Amos 3:7) For all his secrets to be revealed, the dice is now cast for individuals desiring to be as his servants the prophets. The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. (Ps. 25:14) For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous. (Prov. 3:32) (Further reading—Deut. 29:29, Job 15:8, Job 29:4, Ps. 91:1)

Clearly, there is no short entrance point into knowing the secrets of God or his nature. It is readily available for those who fear and love him and live a holy and righteous life. The delight of the Father is for his children to be very close to him and lie on his chest. However in our quest to know more of our Heavenly Father, we should know we cannot deceive God. The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. (2 Tim. 2:19) It is when humbly turned to God, (1 John 1:6) that the secrets of God are revealed crystal clear.

    Day by day dear Lord O three things I pray;

    to see Thee more clearly,

    love Thee more dearly,

follow Thee more nearly, day by day.

Nowadays, it is a common sight while trying to unlock the secrets of God, that one sees ministration done solely focused on prosperity. It is very good, but many are missing the key to the said prosperity. If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. (Job 36:11) Without first understanding the meaning God gave to prosperity and how he defines it, most people only chase a shadow. More pitiful is that the situation is not helped with battalions of lying and fake messengers parading themselves as servants of God whose primary aim is to make money from helpless searchers of truth. (Jer. 29:21,31; Jer. 48:10)

The best way of unlocking the secrets of God is through a two way relationship. You actually do not need any miracle worker to activate this for you. Do it God’s way and you will reap prosperity in God’s way. It should be noted however that God is in no way partial and does not discriminate against anybody in giving out largesse from his secret vault as long as one obeys and serve him. Then your days are guaranteed of his prosperity and your years in endless pleasures.

Very many times however, believers seek to follow their worldly wisdom rather than God’s wisdom. We often carry the cross in front of God and tell him to follow us. Our pride has made us tell God to follow while we take the lead. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy. (2 Tim. 3:2) Unless we follow him, there will always be obstacles in discovering his secrets.
