Worst Call of My Life

Ring ring the phone rang it was 5 a.m. who could it be this early I thought. When I looked it was my old professor from college, George. Hello, I answered, Dillion sorry to call you so early but is there any way you can come down to the university later today? Wish I could, but I got a lot to do today. Just before I could finish George said it is about Cameron he’s missing. My heart stopped, WHAT!? I said what do you mean? I asked. He has not been to class in three days and his roommate said he has not seen him in a few days, I will be down as soon as I can I replied. After I hung up, I laid there for a few minutes thinking of Cameron, my baby brother what could have happened, where could he be? It was 8 a.m. when I arrived at the university, received my guest pass and was on my way. As I walked down the dimly lit hall to his room all I could think about was Cameron. As I arrived at his room at the end of the hall room 250, funny he has been in this room ever since I can remember. After knocking twice George waves for me to enter. George, how have you been I ask as we shake hands, great he replies how have you been he asked as he offers me a seat. Good until you called me with this news I replied. Yes, I am sorry to spring it on to you like that I just wanted you to hear it from me before anyone else he says. I look at him with a straight face and ask how come you do not seem more worried like you might know where he is? The professor takes his glasses off and says he went to Mystical Island. What’s Mystic Island and where is it I ask? George says it is an island my grandfather found out in the middle of the Norwegian sea. He flew his plane just testing it out when he got caught in a bad mystic fog for a few minutes the next thing he knew he was flying over an island, but it was not on his map. He landed the plane then went to explore; he was there for seven days before leaving. George pulls an egg out that is the size of a basketball and says he brought this back. Is that what I think it is I ask? Did you show this to Cam I said as I stood up fast? Yes, I did, that is how I know he went there. My grandfather and I are the only two that have made it to the island and back successfully he says emotionally. My father went to explore it when I was 10 but never made it back. Yes, just got done I answered, great let’s get lunch before we go, he says. What you got in mind I asked? He replied how’s Chinese sound, Great I added. Let me take a quick shower and I will be there in 30 minutes. I got to the restaurant around 1 p.m. we sat down and was greeted by our waiter. How are you two doing today she asked, great we replied you gentlemen ready to order she asked? I ordered bourbon chicken with fried rice vegetables and 3 egg rolls, George got orange chicken with lo Mein vegetables and 5 egg rolls. While we waited on our food George started showing me pictures and telling me about the island. The island is surrounded by a mystic fog he said which makes it hard to see sometimes he added. There is a tall mountain on the island I never made it all the way up to the top though says George. Why is that I ask? Well, I was only there for three days he says chuckling. Now about the egg?
