About this ebook
Octavia Marie
I am a mother of two amazing boys who are my entire world. They were 8 and 2 at the time of the event explained in this book. We live in a small city in BC, Canada and we have many friends and family that live close by. I have been a single parent since my first son was born. I have dated on occasion but nothing really ever grew into a serious relationship. I found that I enjoyed doing things my own way and implementing my own parenting style as well. I can be a very strong and independent person. Some might say stubborn as well. Of course there were times where I wished that a positive male role model would be involved. But then once I began dating, I would always find that whatever void I was trying to fulfill, just wasn’t happening, and I would always end the relationship before I allowed anyone to get close. Perhaps it was because my walls were built up too high, or maybe it was because I just didn’t date anyone that I could see myself staying with. However, I had finally decided to let my walls down and make myself completely vulnerable and allow myself to enjoy a relationship. This relationship is what led to the creation of this book and the experiences that will be discussed.

Introduction
For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to write a book. But how do I start, what do I write about? There were all kinds of questions that filled my mind which actually prevented me from getting started. I know that I have so much value to give but I lacked the guidance and know how. But here I am today. After reading several self-development books, I have finally decided that this book isn’t going to get written unless I actually sit down and do it. I needed to stop worrying about how it’s going to get done, just have faith that it needs to be written and to sit down and do it. So here I am. Writing my first book. I hope that you find as much value in my journey as I have. These life lessons have shaped me into who I am today and I am grateful for my experiences because if I didn’t have them then I would be a completely different person and this would be a completely different book. My goal is to help as many people as I can overcome struggles, find healing, and find their inner beauty and worth as I have done for myself.
This book was created because there is a harsh stigma surrounding pregnancy termination and as a result it often goes undiscussed. There are so many people who are faced with this undiscussed reality and who are suffering alone during these traumatic events. This book is meant to shed light on what an experience like this is like and to help support others through their own experience and know that they are not alone.

The Life Altering Decision
It was the hardest decision I have ever had to make in my life. My mind and soul felt as if it was filled with complete darkness and this went on for no less than a month. Darkness to the point that all I can really even remember is well, just that, darkness. I could not pull myself out of
