I have worked in primary education since 2004. My teaching career has seen me become a mother (twice), a wife (twice) and a divorcee (once!). Since I was 15, I have had an inflammatory bowel disease called ulcerative colitis (UC). The cause is unknown, but my symptoms are triggered by stress.

I adore working with children; their optimistic and enthusiastic attitudes to life fill me with joy. I have an enormous and fundamental impact on these children every day in the classroom.
