CHAPTER 1
SASHA AND SHELBY
Stella
Friday afternoon Stella sat at her desk in her office at JMW Enterprise located in Pearl City, Maryland. She was fast asleep with her feet on top of her desk and her head flopping back and forth against her chair. She was dreaming about her unborn twin girls.
Little five year-olds, Sasha and Shelby sat on the sandy beach with their mother. They were in identical swimsuits while shoveling sand into their buckets. They looked identical, but Stella could tell them apart. They were identical twins and they looked like her.
Shelby giggled. Mommy, tell us about our dads again.
Stella smiled with pride. I have told you two this story a million times. What is it you two want to know?
Well,
Sasha began. How do you know my father is Papa Julian?
And,
Shelby added. How do you know my father is Papa Reese?
Because I’m your mother, that’s how,
she answered. They can’t fool me and neither can the two of you.
Shelby laughed. Yes we can, mommy!
Sasha giggled. They thought the story about their fathers was so funny!
Stella woke quickly and wiped the saliva from her lips. She is the CEO of JMW Enterprise Retail outlets throughout the United States. She is a beautiful black woman age 43 and about 5’6" tall. She is also one hell of an angel, a Sephilim warrior angel. She is part human, part angel, and a mixture of other supernatural blood. Her hair is naturally soft and curly. It fell down to the middle of her back. Lately she has been blowing it straight.
She rubbed her tummy. She realized no one is going to be able to tell the twin girls apart. They don’t look like their dads. Her angelic husband Julian and her mortal husband Reese got her pregnant with twins on the same night, the night of the Grengler’s second blood binding. She had no idea she was destined to deliver another of child, least of all twins. Stella has no idea what the twins were destined to do.
They appeared in her dream as miniature Stellas. They looked like her as a child. Both of them had straight hair with bangs, beautiful oval shaped eyes, and her honey brown skin.
Stella’s daughter Jena, from her deceased husband, Paul will be close to fourteen years older than her twin sisters. She is twelve years older than her brothers. Stella just couldn’t understand why she has given birth to so many children in the span of two years and so late in life. Her children are younger than her grandchildren! A Sephilim pregnancy only lasts six months. Birth certificates had to be altered for public record.
Stella’s celestial husband, Julian Stone is a Sephilim angel. Leon Reese is Stella’s mortal husband. Last week, she was spending so much time trying to please both of them she forgot to use her own Sephilim method of birth control.
Reese, Stella’s mortal husband is forty seven. She married him hastily in Las Vegas. Her eldest son, Joshua is his son. Reese is a retired police detective. He’s a light complexioned black man somewhere around six feet tall; but not as tall as Julian. He is the major father figure in the household. He loves all the children and would kill anyone who tried to hurt them. He is the first and only human to kill an evil Sephilim. He is the father of Joshua, the first son of Stella and Reese.
Stella doesn’t know how old Julian really is. He claims he is over two hundred years old. She suspects he’s older. Julian is white, looks like he’s around thirty-five years old. He is way over six feet tall and has Italian features. He is the father of Stella’s second son, Daniel.
Sephilim angels make mistakes like all humans do and they choose which side of good or evil they wish to serve.
The Sephilim Prophecy is a book about Stella and how she will bring forth two great warrior brothers, Joshua and Daniel. Currently, Joshua is thirteen months old and Daniel is seven months old. They would be the ones to add Sephilim angels to the Celestial Order of Angels, the ‘Tenth Sphere’.
Stella stopped aging at the age of thirty nine. She doesn’t look like she’s forty three. She looks like she’s thirty, if there is such a look. Since she is a Sephilim angel, she no longer ages. Due to her angel status, her mortal family is slowly aging too. She loves her eclectic family.
Since Stella has a mixture of Sephilim, Grengler and other blood running through her veins, she has supernatural powers which transcend the powers of many Sephilim angels.
A Grengler is a supernatural being who doesn’t worship God or the devil. They are like a mixture of witches and gypsies. They like to throw things; anything they can get their hands on, usually rocks. They can do a lot of damage with just a pebble.
Each of Stella’s pregnancies were very different. Reese delivered both of her sons. Now, she wants her twins to be born in the hospital, but there would be that issue of their last name, Reese and/or Stone.
Jena will be turning fourteen when her twin sisters are born. She is Stella’s daughter from her deceased husband, Paul Jackson. She has been adopted by Reese. Julian claims Jena as his daughter too and he is her Godfather to the public.
Kara is Stella’s adopted daughter. Stella watched over Kara for many years before the adoption. Kara is married to David Walker. They have a set of twins name Devin and Dorrell and one adopted daughter named Princess Jewel.
Stella’s son-in-law, David has a sister name Jackie Davis and a nephew named JJ. His niece, Jasmine died at the age of five in a car accident a couple of years ago. At the time of her daughter’s death, Jackie was hooked on crack cocaine. She moved in with the rest of the Mansion family and cleaned up her act. She is now engaged to a Sephilim named Brandon Utopia. She is seeking a divorce from her estranged husband, James Davis, Sr.
Jackie and David’s grandmother, Vivian is married to Fred Mills. Fred and Vivian eloped and Stella made them get married again in front of the entire family. Fred Mills, the owner of JMW Enterprise, is a white gentleman the age of sixty and Vivian is a beautiful dark chocolate complexioned woman who is two years older than him. They have been happily married for nearly three years. Fred offered Stella a job in his company and it blossomed into a family relationship. Stella thinks of him as her father.
Vivian is a descendant of Pearl Mansion’s plantation owner, Robert Pearl. Since his death, he has been haunting the Mansion constantly to keep up with this expanding family. He just won’t go into the Light. He hangs out with Stella’s first Sephilim kill, the ghost of Tatyana.
The new ghost in the Mansion is the evil Sephilim, Tatyana. She is a black British woman who used to rule in Sector 6 by Jerome Tatani. Stella killed her and sent her to the pit before the Pit; a holding place for purgatory. Tatyana repented of her sins and Stella released her from the pit as a ghost. After her release, Tatyana claimed she had nowhere else to go. So now she hangs out at the Mansion and attends the angel gatherings with Robert Pearl.
Fred’s daughter, Elizabeth and her husband Richard Nottingham live at Pearl Mansion too. They have two children, Elisa and Richie. Elisa is getting ready to go to college to become a pediatric doctor. Her brother, Richie is in the eighth grade. He and JJ are best friends, almost like brothers despite their color.
Stella went in search of her half-brother Anthony and his mother Carolyn. They were living in Washington, DC. Once Stella found her brother she had to move him and his family into the Mansion to protect them from evil things.
Katina is Anthony’s daughter and has been using her God given supernatural powers for quite some time. She and Jena are the same age and have become the best of sister-cousins.
Christopher and his mother, Barbara King resides at the Mansion. Christopher is the first born son of Julian by Barbara King. Christopher and Jena are best friends and perhaps they are destined to become lovers in the future.
Christopher, who is almost five years older than Jena, realized he loved Jena more than as a brother. He professed his love to her when she was twelve and told her he would wait until she is the right age to become his girlfriend. He is graduating from high school and wants to study music. He hasn’t told his father his plan yet. His father wants him to go into the family business, Warrior Angel.
Stella thought about her family as she sat at her desk. She and the other angels as well as humans protect their most precious treasures, their children. She loves her family. She just doesn’t want to have any more children. She knows Julian wants another son, but is too afraid to ask. He will have to beg.
There are a host of other humans and Sephilim who live and visit the Mansion. Stella loves them all and they all love her.
The second blood binding ritual brought her and her two husbands closer together, so to speak. The Grenglers call it a ‘Triangular Marriage’. Stella had to mix her blood with her two husbands during the ritual. Had she not done so, they would have killed each other.
Punches are still thrown when one thinks the other is taking advantage of the other. Usually, they hunt evil things together. But when it comes to whose bed she will be sleeping, chaos happens.
The husbands have a deal, but they don’t follow it. Julian and Reese made a deal to have her sleep with one of them every other month. The present month of November is Julian’s time. Stella thought Julian was wonderful last night. When they know she’s going to stay with the other one, they make exceptional love to her so she wouldn’t forget, and she doesn’t forget.
For a while they were running around on each other which confused everyone. How do you cheat in a Triangular Marriage? Here’s how. Stella would visit Julian late at night when Reese was asleep during Reese’s month. Then she would visit Reese at the office during Julian’s month.
Their baby boys ratted them out. So they made a new deal which is actually the same deal only now she is pregnant so there is a chance none of them will be having sex depending on the twin’s temperament.
Julian and Reese were on their way to Miami to track a demon. This is an unusual demon. It kills men, but not for money. It has been killing elderly men up and down the east coast. It goes by the name, Ruby Hummingbird.
Stella didn’t feel good about them going to Miami. She felt this was a highly unusual demon. The night before, Stella dreamt about hummingbirds. They have a unique way of flying. They have a higher rate of metabolism and usually rest at night to a slower heartbeat.
Stella wanted to go with them to Miami. They told her she is pregnant and they didn’t want her traveling. She is less than a month pregnant. Her two husbands told her they heard the two heartbeats. Sephilim men know about pregnancies before the woman. Reese’s supernatural abilities have increased tremendously since he’s been around the angels. He says he just know things. Even though he is mortal, Reese has acquired some of her strengths through the blood binding. He could see demons without the aid of their Seer, Sadie.
So here is Stella. She’s sitting in her office trying to stay awake. The twins inside her were making her very tired and sleepy. Joshua made her throw up all the time. Daniel gave her mass amounts of supernatural power. She felt increased Sephilim power while carrying both of them. Maybe Julian made her very tired. She enjoyed making love to him. Their wings would wrap around each other giving them optimum pleasure.
Stella prayed Reese wouldn’t feel inadequate as her lover because he didn’t have wings. She made up for it by spreading her wings around him when they made love. She couldn’t help it. Whenever a Sephilim spread wings during sex it was a sure sign of true love. Stella was happy and probably the happiest woman alive.
Julian is wary of a Sephilim named Darius. Darius used to be an evil Sephilim. He repented after a battle and switched sides. Stella’s two husbands believe he faked an injury in their last battle so he could be bound to Stella. Stella has healing powers. She is also part native Indian. Each time she heals someone mentally or physically, that person’s soul or spirit is connected with hers and they are bound to one another. She has been binding people to her all her life without knowing.
Now, Julian wants to kill Darius. The blood binding cured him of his jealousy towards Reese, but he still has his eye on every other male Sephilim.
Darius has become Stella’s watcher and personal security guard. He follows her everywhere she goes and she knows he is watching over her. She has no sexual desires for him.
By mistake, Stella bound one of her family’s greatest enemies, Jerome Tatani. When she was carrying Joshua, she threw up on him. She intends to make plans to kill him for all the misery he has caused her family. She hasn’t thought of how yet.
Stella wanted to go home and go to bed. She couldn’t because Barbara and Jackie were meeting with her soon to discuss Jackie’s difficult divorce.
Stella issued a decree that all couples living in the Mansion must get married to their mate. Barbara King is Reese’s ex-partner when they worked for Pearl City’s finest. Her first husband, George had a tragic death caused by Tatani. Barbara sought relief in a handsome Sephilim named Stephan Sanderson.
Stella thought about all the couples residing inside the Mansion. On a regular basis Margarita, the nanny, is with an Irish Grengler named Shaun. She too has to get a divorce from her estranged husband who has just been released from jail.
The Seer, Sadie is now with Julian’s right hand Sephilim, Joe Washington. Sadie’s husband and young sons were murdered by two demons-the Coreys. After Stella and Julian killed the murderers, they brought Sadie to the Mansion to live.
Sadie and Joe were ready to marry. However, Sadie needed to return to Rocky Mount, North Carolina to see her parents. Her real name is Serena Denkins. She left her surviving family behind and now Stella feels Sadie needs to reckon with them. Stella was waiting for them to ask her for assistance.
There were rumors about the possibility of a quadruple wedding ceremony. Stella wanted to remarry her husband Reese. A couple of years ago, they were married in Las Vegas after he got her drunk. Angels should never get drunk. And if she has a ceremony with Reese, what would Julian do?
She and Julian were married several months ago in a quiet celestial ceremony. So, she never mentioned to them she wanted to have a real ceremony with the entire family present. She can wait.
Valarie, her administrative assistant, knocked lightly on the door.
Come in,
Stella said as she straightened up in her office chair.
Valarie poked her head inside and said, Detective King and your daughter, Jackie are here.
"Okay, send them in.
CHAPTER 2
WHERE IS CLAUDIUS?
Julian and Reese
Around Friday at 3 in the afternoon, Julian was wondering why Claudius didn’t meet them at the airport. They flew down in his private jet, a Gulfstream. He and Reese landed at Miami International on Friday around three in the afternoon. They were on their way to the Sheraton located near the airport on 21st Street.
Reese asked the driver, Where is Claudius?
The driver briefly explained. He asked for you to be picked up. He said he was sorry for not being here. He had a few pressing matters to attend to and said you would understand.
Julian didn’t say anything, but he didn’t
