This, fictional world is very real to her, not just a possibly in her dreams, but one in which she has a life.

Nick, Jan’s charming, handsome boyfriend, of whom she thinks she just met in the plant’s utopian world, is popular with everyone, men and especially women.
His incredibly good voice is always sought after, at every event.

In Part two of this mystery series we find unique twists and turns. Continuing approximately fifteen years after an unsolved, brutal, murder of an innocent young woman, the town is plagued again, with what may be the work of a serial murderer.
In Part One, the detective on the case, Stanley Reynolds, a friend of Dr Richards, is investigating Suzanne’s disappearance, when he collapses after discovering the body of his x-fiancee Carla. In this, Part Two, he is now on the case.
We continue now with at least three possible suspects and the return of Jan’s son, Roberto.
Chapter 1
Autopsy Results
T he day started out slowly, getting up later than usual, Cheryl Reynolds sat at the dinning room table looking at the paper. Having no appetite she was unable to enjoy breakfast. The recent murder had the whole town on edge. Stanley was front center, and it had been disturbing, to say the least. That, it was her husband, who had been engaged, and in love at one time, with the victim, was not easy for her to handle. She wondered what they were saying about it now. Everyone was locking their doors. Some were actually moving out of town to visit with relatives. Others said it was the serial murderer of years ago, there were even neighbors hiring bodyguards.
The baby had been crying, on and off, all night and with little sleep, eating food did not interest her. She wished Stanley had been home earlier. However, working very late, the night before, he was sound asleep. She knew, only too well, he needed his rest. The recent tragedy was so sudden and unexpected.
She had not realized how much his x fiancee meant to him, he had been, and remained, very affected.
She remembered how she met Stanley, it was not that long ago. He was quiet and seemed so alone. Her friend pointed him out at a meeting about volunteering for various charities in the neighborhood.
They both joined a weekly soup kitchen to feed the poor.
Later they were matched up to cook and serve every other Saturday. He took her number, and she his. She fell in love with him the first month they met. It seemed he felt the same about her. Not too long after came their wedding and two years later the baby. It all happened so fast, there were times she wondered if she really knew him, or him her. She did know she loved him though, and did not want to be with anyone else.
Just as she was about to walk into the living room to relax she heard the baby crying. Slowly climbing the stairs, near the top, she heard Stanley’s voice.
Who is the prettiest baby in the world? It is my Sara Reynolds.
Thank God, she thought, maybe he’s feeling better. Walking into Sara’s room she saw him, his pajamas half falling off, as if he rushed in to pick up the baby.
How blessed they all were, she thought, at least he is up and seemingly normal again. Just as she was about to hug the two, as usual, the phone rang.
Handing Cheryl the baby, daddy Reynolds ran to answer it.
Hello.
It was his partner Detective Shore on the phone. Almost a week after the body of Carla was found the report from the labs and examiner were ready.
Stanley, I hate to bother you, but I thought you would want to know as soon as the results were in, from Carla’s autopsy.
Of course Justin what are they?
It was verified. She was shot. She never knew what happened, it was fatal.
Not wanting to go over it in front of Cheryl, at home, Stanley, abruptly, ended the conversation.
Ok thanks Justin, I’ll be in this afternoon, lets go over it then.
Hesitating a few minutes, he thought of how much he once loved Carla, and she him, if only, it had been different.
He could see her as if she was standing in the room. Her beautiful dark hair, just flowing, and those piercing, but gorgeous blue eyes, always staring at him with so much love. How could all that just be gone, but it was, and he was dealing with that reality once again?
Wondering if he should discuss any of it with Cheryl, who he could see was concerned, but not wanting to change the mood, he decided against it.
Honey, I’m gonna go in today.
A little disappointed at first, Cheryl put the baby down in her crib, and walked into his arms.
Ok, how are you feeling honey, are you ok?
I’m fine, I just think I need to finish this case and find Ms Stratford, now.
Kissing Cheryl and then the baby he left the room to go into the shower. Sara began to cry. Cheryl watched him go, turning to attend to Sara.
Later as he dried off, going into the bedroom, he thanked God for putting Cheryl and the baby in his life. He knew his wife was confused and upset, learning about Carla, especially that way. He had much he wanted to discuss with her and would, as soon as he could, maybe later that week. Cheryl coming into his life when she did, was a blessing, that brought him back from the constant despair, the separation from Carla, had caused.
Carla had been everything to him, she was his life as long as he could remember. Their relationship was incredible, so in love, the few arguments they had just brought them closer. The memories poured in like a sun-shower, filled with the brightest light. Stanley remembered the effect she had when she walked into any room.
Not only would all heads turn, smiles would be contagious. He never thought there would ever be anyone else for him, no one did. Everyone loved Carla, young and old, even the other single women. Carla had a gentleness all could feel. She was kind to people others shunned. She turned every stranger into a friend. She really cared and, everyone she was near, knew that about her, they could all feel it when she entered a room. Life would never be the same again and Stanley knew it. He put his head into the pillow, a few minutes, and cried. He could not believe he would never be able, to talk to, or see Carla again.
A few minutes later he heard Cheryl and the baby coming. So grateful to have them, he thanked God again.
Sara looked straight at Stanley, as though saying something important, like,
"Daddy it will all be all right, mommy and me will always be here for you, we will never leave you, never.’
Her sparkling eyes spoke loudly to him. He could not tell if the smile was that, or an approaching burp, but he smiled back, got up and hugged them closer.
Back at the police station Justin was putting the file on Stanley’s desk when his wife, came in.
Does Stanley know about you and Carla?
What are you talking about Adel? There is nothing about me and Carla, I told you, I never cheated on you, you’re just being crazy again.
I know you were there at her house, the week before they found her. Your car was seen there.
What are you talking about, did you follow me?
I have known for a while now about Carla and you, I just didn’t say anything, I wanted to see if you would.
Please Adel, go home, I’ll talk to you tonight, please go home and don’t ever talk of this again, especially around Stanley, he’s already going crazy.
"You’re right Justin,
