Carolyn Anderson
Carolyn Anderson, a native of Hillsborough, North Carolina, was born on November 20,1958 to Mr. Jessie and Bessie Dixon. She is a mother of three children, Lloyd, Nicole and Nicholas. She also has one daughter in law, Victoria and five grand children. February 19, 2014 was a day that forever changed the trajectory of Mrs. Andersons's life when she received the shocking and tragic news of her daughter Nicole's sudden death. Since the devastating loss of her daughter, Mrs. Anderson has founded the Nicole Enoch Foundation, LLC, a non profit organization created as a way to honor Nicole's memory and legacy by continuing the work she was so passionate about. In addition to holding many events to support the community such as feeding the homeless, the foundation also offers a scholarship for young women in North Carolina pursuing careers in law. Carolyn attributes her healing after the tragic loss to her relationship with God. The message that has become Mrs. Anderson's life mission is that God will truly give you beauty for ashes and only with God it is possible to move from tragedy to strategy.

This book is dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ
because only through his mighty power is
moving from tragedy to strategy possible.

on your own understanding; in all your ways submit
to him, and he will make your paths straight."

37439.pngImagine
Written by Yolanda Grier
Imagine the sun never going down…
No suffering, no pain
Knowing God is in control
Of the sunshine and the rain
Imagine my joyous smile
In the months, years to come
When you’ll miss me more.
No need to be solemn
I am worshipping the Most High
He received me in my prime
See, it’s never a goodbye
But until next time.
So, imagine me walking
The Lord saying, I’ve been waiting my child.
Arms stretched as He received me.
Again, imagine my joyous smile
If you would imagine in spite of how it feels
God is in control
He’ll soothe your heart, wipe your tears
And allow you to let me go.
I no longer have to imagine.
The Lord completely has my heart
Pillow talking in Heaven
Rejoicing while the Spirit imparts.
Foreword
Moving forward but never forgetting the
past. Even in loss, love lives on. This foreword
is unique, as is this book, as was Nicole.
Have you ever met someone that possessed qualities that made you want to learn more about them? Someone that was intelligent, compassionate, ambitious, courageous, and more? Whatever they had, you just wanted to learn more about them? That was my friend Nicole. A beautiful person with a beautiful soul that brought light to those she came in contact with. This book will take you through a storm of emotions of a fallen angel’s story and how those around her found peace.

Turns out, you were right all along and yes, I’ve learned so much. I thank my lucky stars for you. I can hear you laughing at that line right now. You’d probably call me corny. But it’s true. :)
Here’s to recognizing that happiness is a choice. That we shouldn’t take our egos so seriously all of the time. That we are born with a Divine Confidence, and that we should allow ourselves to trust it. It will guide us to accomplish anything we desire.
You embodied these principles, and I am so appreciative to have witnessed your personal power. Cheers to you inspiring us to move towards real faith and belief in ourselves and reminding us of our responsibility to share our joys and talents with the world so that we might continue to inspire each other.
To you, Nicole Sade—thank you. I love you.

38289.pngFortitude. The one word I used to prejudge Carolyn Anderson before having the privilege of even meeting her. She proved me right. After watching her at a distance from her daughter’s wake to burial and witnessing her grace and strength through this process, I could tell why her daughter was so anointed. Carolyn’s heart and resilience were evident in every fiber of Nicole. Experiencing Carolyn’s faith, kindness, and love has been one of the most inspiring blessings that I have witnessed over the years. ‘Mom,’ you are navigating waters too many can barely wade in—keep chartering new paths.
Legacy. Nicole Enoch. The word and the name are one and the same. I called you Long hair, don’t care
, and you called me Legz.
Modeling introduced us, but your energy and kindness are what made us friends. When you got comfortable and in your element, your Southern drawl and full vibrant laugh came out and made my heart happy. You knew your calling, embraced it, and dove headfirst into your faith to begin accomplishing God’s will for you. Passion and steadfast dedication to seek justice and to be a mouthpiece for truth were no doubt in her DNA.
‘Mom,’ your every move in the process of writing this book has been rooted in Christ, truth, and transparency. Your fortitude has made way for Nicole’s legacy to be spread in more ways than she may have dreamed. This book is proof that something beautiful can grow once the seed has been planted.

My Reasons
Who? – Who is this book written for? Anyone who is willing to listen to my (our) hearts so they might not endure this type of pain. Yes, there are so many mothers like me who have experienced a tragic death at the hands of another. Sometimes they find who did such a hideous thing, and sometimes they don’t. But the hole in your heart is still there. The love we have for our children is just
