Aroma: Therapy for Lost Humanity
()
About this ebook
Biblical history speaks of a time in our world when there was utter chaos. In the midst of it the Bible reveals a man called Noah, whose character was impeccable in his time. Evil men angered God. But the faith of Noah pleased God and was responsible for the saving of his family. He offered a sacrifice to show his love and respect for God,
and it was noted as a sweet aroma. This demonstration of Noah’s heart is a great example for us today.
The book describes in detail, topics such as:
Honor: What it means to honor God in every aspect of one’s life.
What’s That Smell: Man’s attitude of disregard for God.
The Mercy of God: His love for humanity
Aroma Therapy: the impartation of God’s love to others. Exhibiting people who have been therapeutic in my life.
My personal experiences are interwoven through-out these pages: you will find challenges and lessons learned, faith fights and victories received.
The love of our Heavenly Father covers each page in this book. His arms are opened wide, ready to receive whoever will come. And that same love is spread to humanity through His children.
Endeavoring to be a sweet aroma to God!

PREFACE
History is paramount!
Growing up in Detroit Michigan, most of my education was through the Detroit Independent School District. One of my least favorite subjects was history. It did not matter whether the topic was local, State, American or World history, it was all boring. I was well in years when I developed an appreciation for history. It was like a light bulb came on, my eyes were opened and I realizing the true significance of understanding history.
Individuals who understand history receives a jump start into revelation of basic concepts and ideas. Light is being shed on the thoughts and beliefs of man during a certain dispensation in time. Enabling one to learn about cause and effect, relationships, and human nature.
Enough knowledge about history, can disclose how attitudes and feelings are affected as a result of a single action. History helps us to understand why things are the way they are today. Many past events in this world have shaped our present-day existence. Understanding what has happened, and looking closely at day-to-day happenings, enables one to predict the possibility of what may befall us in times to come.
In (Ecclesiastes 1:9 NIV) King Solomon declares that The things that hath been, it is that which shall be: and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
Examining the past gives us a better outlook on the things we should avoid, help us to see what can be done presently and how to make things better in the future. Applying lessons learned from history, enable us to make needed changes to better our way of life.
Each of us are a part of history. We are impacting lives right now. What one does today may influence the history of the family for generations to come. And because we are a world of families; we have a part to play in the condition of our world. We can choose to be a part of the solution or part of the problem.
History does not stop at textbooks; it continues until the end of time. And each one of us is a living compilation of what is to come".

As we journey into Noah’s time, we see the destruction of nearly all living things. Noah, his family, and the animals on the Ark were the only survivors. What lead to such a catastrophe? Why was Noah and his family saved? And what does that have to do with me? These questions will be a source of serious discussion as we proceed through the pages of this book.
Carefully investigating the life of Noah; will bring about an awareness of the danger of history repeating itself.
One man chose to live in a way that pleased the Almighty God, in a time when the world chose to please themselves. The world’s consequence was deadly.
With all the chaos in our world, we would do well to examine the history of Noah’s time.
What can we do to make this world a better place? We look at the vastness of the world’s ills and think, there is nothing I can do to change things, I am just one person. But there is something we can do. We can follow the guidelines the creator has set for all humanity. His governing blueprint for our life is to love God and each other. Loving God causes one to keep and obey his commandments. And the father promised to love us and make himself known unto us. Believers are the recipients of his peace, and promise in this chaotic world. We must do our part to prepare humanity for a soon coming king.
The scripture sheds light on the problem of men in Noah’s day and our problem today. Their minds are full of darkness; they wander far from the life God gives because they have closed their minds and hardened their hearts against him.
(Ephesians 4:18 NLT) Why does humanity not whole heartedly search for God? The answer stems in humanism.
Humanism is a belief that human needs and values are more important than religious beliefs. They believe that a person creates their own set of ethics.

"Humanists believe human experience and rational thinking provide the only source of both knowledge and a
