CHAPTER 40
NOTE: JINGLES SEEMS to turn and go with the baddies and gets seriously injured sees one of the dogs at headquarters trying to hurt Jingles. We did this and come to the end of our street and then we continue as the caves became fewer and fewer and more trees and bush became more prevalent there were two baddies ahead of us they didn’t seem all that concerned about being followed they trotted along quite happily along the road but we stopped and waited until they were far ahead and then we slowly went up making sure we were not followed and we weren’t we went cautiously along and went carefully up the road after the baddies after a while they went off the road into the bush and disappeared we crept up to where they went off the road and cautiously followed as best we could into the bush we had to go along way in I did not think we would ever find them we kept moving slowly and silently through the bush I was just about to give up ever finding them and going home when we heard faint sounds at first coming from ahead of us as we drew near we realised the noises were coming from the baddies gathering the meeting had already started and we had missed out on the start to the meeting and on a lot that had been said we were most disappointed we were no more nearer to finding out what their evil plans were, they were just skyting and boasting that they would beat us the goodies and take over the complex and be in control and in charge we were not happy to hear this of course and we quickly and quietly made our way back the way we had come we had finally made our way back to the complex to tell the head dogs what had occurred they said to keep a sharper lookout for the baddies we have to keep a closer watch at all times this we all did but they always seem to be a step ahead of us.
So much for my own detective work watching one or two dogs a week one or more dogs were still obviously the enemy working in our midst but who was it, it was most baffling.

THIS OBSERVING OF the baddies I felt was getting us no where fast and I had already exhausted all my options.
Then something happened that I never thought I would ever see but I did. It was one day not long after we had been to the baddie meeting I saw Jingles yes Jingles talking quite freely and happily to one of the baddies I could not believe it, I was stunned I was not sure if I should tell the head dogs or not I kept this secret to my self because I did not know if the head dogs knew about it or not.
I did not see much of Jingles for a long while in fact I didn’t see him at all, all at the complex were noticing that Jingles wasn’t there at all either the dogs there were asking me if I knew where Jingles was or what he was doing I was left in a quandary wondering what I could say to them so I opted for my own version of the truth I said that I didn’t know where Jingles was or what he was doing and that he hadn’t confided in me.
Amid all the excitement came
