About this ebook
“That familiar gaze. We know that we know each other, but are not able to escape this maze
So let that familiar soul stay captive, it’s fine. Let me pretend that I don’t know you and let’s act like it’s all fine”
This is a perspective and life changing anthology of 30 poems written by a 12 year old about her thoughts and experiences, spread across diverse subjects that accumulated over different experiences in her life. A Poem
A poem is a way of jotting down one’s feeling
And believe me it helps you in healing
A poem makes you feel like a weight has been lifted off your chest
And that you can put your heart at rest
As you finally have something to share your thoughts along
A poem can be short or long
Whenever I feel sad or angry
Writing a poem always helps me
Writing a poem is a mark of creativity
That others will be inspired by and see
All you need is a pen and a simple book
For me that was all it ever took
Now I am not restless
If ‘she’ were here she’d be happy to see
A whole new different me
I hope you are inspired by me
Being creative and thinking out of the box are the keys
Believe me even if I try I
