    Give Thanks To our God

    The Autobiography of Carena Loreza

I dedicate this book to all those out there who are trying to find

their identity, their self-worth, and their place in this world. To

those who have suffered, made sacrifices, gave of themselves,

gave their time and knowledge, gave their hard-earned money

to be a blessing to help others in their journey to fulfill their

destiny, and those who have lost their lives for others.

May the Lord add a blessing to you.

And God bless you and my family

    in Jesus’s name.

This book was inspired by the Spirit of God.

I give all the glory and honor to God.

This story is about lives, our self-worth and eternal life,

who we are, where we came from and how God gave us

to our parents—whoever they may be—and why we are

here. We are here to glorify God, to please him, to lift him

up and each other, and to give God back the victory.

"And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,

with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your

strength" (Mark 12:30 KJV). This is the first commandment.

While we live on this earth, we must serve God and help one

another spiritually and physically, helping others by giving our

time, patience, money—whatever means God would have us do

through Him, even ministering or preaching the Word until

Jesus comes. As well as telling our story by connecting the dots

from the things we have experienced in life. We all have eroded

and have made mistakes in our lives. We can’t change the past,

and the past doesn’t out way our future, but what we can do is

help others along the way—by giving them the Word and Godly

advice so that they might not pass through the same things that

we passed through and help them not to experience so much pain.

Just maybe, they can learn from some of our experiences and

how we have made mistakes in our life and not make the same

mistakes. That there would be solutions from the Word of God

and through their own experiences, as well as the sharing of our

stories. It would serve as testimonies to encourage and inspire

others to make a change and better their lives. The Word of God

tells us that we are overcome by the words of our testimonies.

The Word of God teaches us not to give up; even in the midst

of suffering and shame, it can give you courage to go on.

My mother never gave up even when she got sick; she fought to

stay alive in her last breath to take care of her youngest son because

he’s special, and she knew he would have many challenges in life.

You know you are a winner; we all are winners if we so desired

to be one, so when you get back up, just don’t stay down

because you have had setbacks and challenges in your life.

When you get that second wind, try again until you succeed.

My mother fought with her last breath, but her heart fell. In this

story, even though I had to fight for my life to live in a mean and

cruel world, as a child and an adult, I had to learn to take the

bitter with the sweet. It was only by the grace of God that I made

it and that I was a fighter and am a fighter as my mother, Renee,

was. As I look back on my life, I can see all the obstacles that were

in my way, but thank God no condition stayed the same. Thank

God I am overcome—I overcame, and I finally accomplished

the things I set out to accomplish. A winner never quits, but a

loser has already lost, because he sees that he has already lost.

This story will inspire you because so many give up, but I stayed

in the race and among the living finish. I wrote this so that you

won’t make these same mistakes. I could have given up, but I

refused. Just think, if I had given up, I would not live to see my life

being changed for better, but God put a testimony in my mouth.

I shall fulfill my destiny in Jesus’s name.

    THEY WERE LIKE SISTERS

Out of the turmoil of life, my mother was born in Marshallvile, Georgia. Her name was Renee. She never knew her mother because she died at birth, and her name was Jessica. My mother’s mother was my grandmother; she was a full-blooded Cherokee Indian. She also had a sister named Waco. My mother’s dad was born in Marshallvile, Georgia.
