The Loneliest Fall: For Those in Search of Understanding
By Kiana Moné
()
About this ebook
Her road begins with heartache when, in the collection’s title poem, she asks:
“Sometimes I wonder what it would
Be like if I never met you at all
Would I be happy?”
Moné’s poems cover themes of love and loss while asking important questions like when to move on, how to move on, and is it possible to heal from wounds that haven’t completely closed?
“In the end, we’re all just looking for someone to understand.” For those who have dared to love, this is a collection of honest and raw emotions from the pen of someone who has been through the ups and the downs of life and can relate to one of the most important journeys that a person will take, the journey towards love, healing, & self.

Introduction
My name is Kiana Monè, I’m 20 years old, and I write poetry. Let me start by giving you some background about me. I’ve been writing poems since I was 12 years old. I’ve always been passionate about poetry and how I could tell a story through it that other people could relate to.
I found myself falling in love with poetry as the years went by and I got older. I really leaned on poetry through all of the bad and good times I’ve had in my life. Poetry to me is a way to release the things in my heart and mind when I can’t find the right words to say or that I am afraid to say. I’ve been passionate about a lot of things but nothing has ever even come close to this.
At first I was shy when sharing my poems with others because of how personal they are to me and for fear that other people wouldn’t understand why I wrote the things I wrote or felt the way I felt, after all, a lot of my poems are written in my most fragile moments, but I realized that other people could use some of that fragileness in a time where it feels like everyone is taught to just be tough.
The truth is that we all have moments where we just want to feel like someone understands us. So I had an idea, I wanted to create a book of poems, my poems so that I could share my stories
with people who have the same love for poetry as me. I am in a new chapter in
