About this ebook

My Synopsis:

I have been a Christian for 43
years.  In that time the Lord has never
failed me.  I have been so strong
sometimes, totally unafraid, and have failed so miserably in others...and yet
the Lord continues to love me.

Why He continues to claim me at
all is a mystery to me, but because of His faithfulness, companionship and the
words He has planted in my heart I now want to share with you.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  My fondest hope is that some of these words
may express the love you have for the Lord. Words, that for whatever reason,
you have not been able to express yourself.

Sylvia Lemmond

My mother, at 72 years of age, while living in a Sr. Citizen Hotel in Salem Oregon, began to take an oil painting class.  She never painted before in her life, but always wanted to.  God bless her, she was good.  She sold some of her paintings and I have the rest.  She died at 82. I'm thinking, if she can do this at 72, I can do it at 67.  Sometimes we miss, what could be really important times in our lives, because of imagined handicaps or frailties.  With that in mind, I am now sharing my hearts desire with you in the hope that something I've written might be an inspiration to you also.

    Footprints Unseen - Sylvia Lemmond

    ENDLESS LOVE

Oh Lord, my love for you is endless

Yet my words of praise seem so hollow.

How can I make you understand?

So many times I have drawn courage

From the words of others and now I

Would like to be the giver.

Allow me the privilege of profoundness

That some poor soul may draw warmth

    From the words I share.

It might have been a poem, a song, or even

The written word, but whenever I needed

Comfort or encouragement, it was there.

And, as your love was revealed to me

Within those words, I began to heal.

Thank you Lord, for the souls you used to

Reach me in the midst of my conflict.

Let me now be used of thee.

    A POEM

A poem to one who is not in need,

Is heard but not listened to.

The words have no meaning and are

    Foolish to his ears.

    But to someone
