Faith Walk: My Father’s Story
()
About this ebook
As I commenced to write, I began to recall and reminisce about my father’s faith and dedication to the ministry. His conviction in God was unshakeable.
People throughout the world are experiencing discouragement, health issues, loneliness, lack of faith (belief) or just unfavorable situations in their lives. By reading this book, you will witness how God turns adverse conditions into favorable blessings.
It was through my father’s life, I witnessed how to have faith, obtain wisdom, stay focused and live a christian life. It is because of my father and the Lord, I am the woman I am today!

I would like to express my gratitude to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for giving me the vision to write this book, Faith Walk: My Father’s Story.
This book would not have been possible without the help and guidance of my brother Superintendent Johnnie Evans Sr., as well as my other siblings, Superintendent C. D. Evans, Mellova Joyce Evans-Davis, JoAnn Evans-Weatherspoon, Syretta Evans, and JoNell Evans-Braggs. My thanks to each of you for your encouragement and support. I would like to acknowledge my deceased brother, Saul Evans, and deceased sisters Ruby Jewel Evans-Hall and Doris Ray Evans-Dixon.
I offer special thanks to my husband, Bishop Frank E. Fanniel Sr., and to my children Lanell, Frank Jr., Prettice (Sylvia), and Michael (Pamela). I am also thankful for all the love and support that my grandchildren have displayed throughout this writing process. Many thanks to my granddaughter Mikala, who served as my editorial assistant and provided secretarial support, enthusiasm, patience, and helpful ideas that helped bring this book to its completion.
To book coach Daphine Priscilla Brown-Jack and your assistant, daughter Zoe Jack, thank you for your insight and encouragement. Lastly, thank you, Geraldine Gibson and Pastor Hewett Richardson Jr. for editing the manuscript of Faith Walk in preparation for printing.

As I grew up in the Church of God in Christ, I remember as a young girl being intrigued by Mother Fanniel. She played the guitar, but most of all, she had a lot in common with my mother. They were very good friends, pastors’ wives, and women of strong faith. That
