CHAPTER 1
WHERE IS MY BLESSING?
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for waking me up this morning. Thank you Lord, for protecting me while I sleep. Thank you God for all the blessings you have given to me. I am getting ready to start my day and I pray as I interact with people that you guide my thoughts. Please give me a clean heart and humble my words. I would like to be seen like a child of Jesus. Lord be my guide and my friend in Jesus name I pray from your humble servant Tabitha.
Tabitha goes downstairs for breakfast.
Tabitha: Good morning mom, dad and Trina!
Mom: Good morning Tabitha how are you today?
Tabitha: I am well mom.
Dad: Good morning sweetheart are you ready for the office?
Tabitha: Yes dad, I am as ready as can be.
Tabitha: I am excited because I am going to show this beautiful house that my co-worker and I setup.
Tabitha: God willing the couple will purchase the house.
Trina: I believe this house is going to be your big break sis!
Tabitha: Thanks Trina, I still am a little frustrated because I fixed up all these houses.
I put new furniture in them, and I show them off. Still, I cannot seem to get the house that God has for me. I love the Lord and I know that in his word he says ask, and it shall be given you; Seek and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Matthew 7:7 I have been seeking, knocking, and praying. I love you guys but I am 28 years old and I really would like my own place.
Mom: Tabitha, you know that God has three answers. Yes, not yet and no. God can be telling you not yet. The place that he has for you, you may not be ready for. Praise God and thank him in the house you are in, while you wait for the house you want. Sometimes we ask for things that our heart desire but physically we are not ready for. As you are saying thank you for this blessing, also prepare yourself to receive it. You prepare by learning how to take care and appreciate the house that God is going to give you.
Tabitha: Mom I am a real estate agent. I know how to take care of a house! I am 28 years old; I can cook and clean also pay bills. I can do my own laundry as well.
Mom: Tabitha there is a lot more than maintaining the appearance of the house. There are repairs that need to be made when things break. Your dad is not going to be there to kill spiders for you.
Tabitha: I know
