    ABOUT THE COVER

The cover art of this book, like several of my previous books, was painted by an amazing intuitive artist named Stephanie Reigle.

I’ve known Stephanie for a few years, and I’ve seen her growing in her spirituality. As a result, her connection to the other side has become amazingly strong. She can easily channel spirit guides, her own and those of others.

Fortunately for me, and sometimes not so fortunately for her, she seems to have easy access to Jasper, my spirit guide, and he is only too happy to instruct her in how he wants these book covers to look.

This particular one is something new and special, because not only is it a beautiful piece of art, it can be used as a focal point for meditation and contemplation.

Because of her strong spiritual connection, Stephanie was able to directly channel a message from Jasper about the cover, and I’m happy to share it with you here.

    Take it away, Jasper.

This work of art is meant for people on the journey to find their self-worth and their place in the universe. It’s meant to encourage healing by providing an understanding that they can choose their own life path despite what anyone else around them chooses. There is no one right way, right path or right appearance that everyone should choose. You must choose wisely. Connect to yourself and you will find what feels good to you and connected to your heart. All the different foci of energy in the painting are to represent the abundance of opportunities and choices one has available to them every second of every day. Again, there is no one right path. It’s all up to you and how you perceive your self-worth. So choose carefully, pick a spot on the painting and focus on it. Allow anything that arises in your thoughts to just be. Don’t fight it or try to hold onto it. Just let it be there. Your thoughts are a reflection of your reality, so to change your reality you must change your thoughts. You are the observer of your life as Dave and I have told you many times in previous books and in all of the spiritual books you come across. You are not your current reality. You are the observer and you have the joyous opportunity to pick and choose what you want to pay attention to. So pick an energy focus, fixate on it, follow Dave and my directions on what to do when you find your new reality and let the unfolding take place. I promise, you have an abundance of opportunities stored up and awaiting your choosing. Enjoy the journey! Let’s begin!

    Thus spake Jasper.

    A WORD ABOUT JASPER

In case you haven’t read any of my other books, (and if not, what have you been waiting for?), let me introduce you to my higher self, my soul guide, my guardian angel, Jasper.

He first entered my consciousness on December 18, 2013, a date he insists should be celebrated annually, and I don’t disagree. He first appeared during a past life regression I was having with my friend, Barb Ruhl, and nothing has been the same in my life since.

I wasn’t sure who or what he was at first, but before long he informed me that he was my spirit guide, and that he would now be communicating directly with me, helping me to move forward in my spiritual journey.

He has taught, and continues to teach me so many things about life, spirituality, and the true structure of the universe that I can’t imagine how dull and uninspired my life would be without him in it.

His methods might be viewed by some as a little unorthodox, but owing to his propensity for dressing in countless numbers of costumes and performing scenes from old movies and TV shows, his lessons are never boring.

At times I may write things like, Jasper just showed up as-. That means I see him in my mind in whatever form he has assumed, and I’m sharing that vision with you to better illustrate the point he and I are trying to make.

Jasper started out identifying himself as my spirit guide, then as my soul guide. Over time he has shortened his nom de guerre to just guide, but lately he wants to be referred to as my higher self, which better describes what he actually is: the part of me that stays behind on the other side when I incarnate here for another earth life.

It’s not easy to describe a personality as large and multi-faceted as Jaspers in a few words, so I hope this brief explanation gives you a better idea of who and what he is as you read this book.

If you want to learn more about Jasper, and see an actual portrait of him painted by Stephanie Reigle, who also did the book cover, visit my website at thecollegeofspiritualknowledge.com.

    PREFACE

This book, like my last one, is a compendium of some of the things I’ve been learning about spirituality from Jasper and his friends on the other side over the last year or so.

As my spiritual connection grows stronger and my vibrational energy increases, my ability to understand the concepts all of them are trying to teach me also increases, and I’m happy to share that knowledge with you.

Every discipline of learning has its own vernacular, and one of the things that may be confusing for some people starting out on their own spiritual journeys is the language they encounter when reading works such as mine.

Let me present a short glossary of some of the more commonly used words and how their meanings relate to spirituality.

Affirmations: word or group of words that can be used during meditation to reinforce your positive emotions and beliefs.

Clarity: understanding of any life situation that comes from dealing with and working through any negativity that surrounds it.

Contrast: knowing that whatever reality you’re looking at is not the one you want.

Lack: identifying what you feel is missing from your life.

Programs: automatic emotional reactions initiated by your subconscious based on past experience.

Source energy: spiritual energy that comes from the other side through our higher selves.

Unconditional: often used in conjunction with the word love, but applies to anything you can accept and believe without putting conditions on that emotion.

We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience.

    Infinity and Beyond

    CHAPTER 1

    Everyday Spirituality

I’ve written about my personal sojourn through the land of spirituality seven times, but it took this eighth attempt for my puny human mind to realize that living a spiritual life is not like golf, stamp collecting, or another hobby you might enjoy.

It’s a life-long pursuit, and you can’t carve out pieces of time for it here and there on your day off or during the weekend.

You have to work at it every day in order for spirituality and the many gifts it brings to have significant and positive changes in your life.

I know that the word work immediately makes people lose interest in any given topic, but my goal for this book is to make everyday spirituality not seem like drudgery. I want you to make it a part of your daily routine, something you add to the things you already do, like having a cup of coffee in the morning or watching Vanna on Wheel of Fortune every evening.

If you’ve already been introduced to my spirit guide, Jasper, in my other works, you won’t be surprised to hear that he isn’t shocked that it took me over seven years to figure out the basics of being more spiritually minded in my day-to-day life. He still, on occasion, enjoys telling me what a dolt I can be.

But that’s just one of the warm and fuzzy names he has for me and, in fact, for all of us when we’re incarnated as humans. According to Jasper, these are the seven levels of awareness that humans must go through while learning about spirituality (in ascending order):

    1. Moron

    2. Dolt

    3. Lunkhead

    4. Idiot

    5. Dunce

    6. Clueless

    7. Dazed and Confused

Actually, there is a level below number one, and that would be totally oblivious, so Moron is actually a step up.

Having progressed through all eight levels, I think I spend most of my time now between Clueless and Dazed and Confused. When I’m exceptionally dense about something Jasper is trying to teach me, he may drop me all the way back to level five (Dunce), or in this instance, level two (Dolt).

Luckily, now that I’m aware of the levels, I can strive to stay at the top of the scale by connecting with Jasper as much as possible and listening for what he’s trying to teach me.

    But I digress.

Before you get to a place where you can be aware enough to integrate your spirituality into your daily life, you need to have a basic understanding of what spirituality actually is, and maybe more importantly, what it is not.

To that end, Jasper has provided yet another of his famous lists, this one designed to gauge an individual’s interest in spirituality.

Once again, it starts at zero, which is being totally oblivious to spirituality, and then goes like this:

    1. DKDC (Don’t Know, Don’t Care)

    2. It’s All New-Agey BS

    3. Spiritually Curious

    4. Tell Me More, Tell Me More!

For the fourth level, picture Jasper dressed as John Travolta in Grease singing Summer Lovin’ on the bleachers with the rest of the T-Birds.

Since you’re reading this book, I’m going to make the assumption that you’re at least at level three, so let’s use that as a starting point.

Level three is the place where you may know a little about the spiritual realm and are looking to know more. Maybe you’ve seen Teresa Caputo or Tyler Henry talking to dead people on TV, or maybe you’ve gone a step further and consulted with a
