Sesi: A S African Woman of God

Sesi is a person who has been tutored as a child to ‘do your best for the Lord’. Each accomplishment was praised and rewarded. With each step forward came questions of “should I”? God was faithful and answered with direction. Teaching has always been her passion. “The little ones!” “Oh, look at you, all your tops are tucked in! Praise You, Jesus!” “Thank You Jesus, you all lined up so nice and I didn’t say a word!” “You finished so quickly, thank You Jesus! Good Job!” The children’s response to her praise is evidence of it. Who wouldn’t? with all that praise! Through each plateau of life: Teaching, Pastor’s wife, death of father, husband, and her mother’s stroke, she stands firm in the Lord and praises His faithfulness.

GoGo Mona Lea

Born and raised on farm. She went through nursing school after her last child graduated. She has written and published two children’s books – titled “Farmer Duane” and “Life in the Big Woods” – stories with the animals and birds and lessons in life they experience. God prompted her to go to South Africa two years before she went. After a few conversations on whether she was hearing Him correctly, and His affirmation, she went. She enjoys sewing, reading, cooking, being with family, walking (in good weather) and studying the Bible. Two years ago, she walked a 5K. She asked the Lord before she went, and He said yes! She lives in an ‘over 55’ facility in Elko New Market, Minnesota. Life is precious, don’t waste it!
