About this ebook
actual emotional mental and fictional artifacts
of truth. From personal experiences to bits and
pieces; shared by others and sprinkled with my own added
twist and/or interpretations. Childhood memories, faded
by age, to current events of the here and now- with traces
of hope: to the hereafter and beyond! Without pinpointing
specific race, creed, or color. The words or reactions, rhymes
and reason could be relative to any person, young or old at
heart. No matter what background or your origin. In some
form, you may be able to relate. This journey of life takes us
many places and we cross paths that leave physical and mental
impressions- some positive, some negative. How we choose
to handle realities and the choices and paths - could be life
changing. Words and sentences, no matter how blunt or brief
can have several different meanings and can take on multiple
forms. As you read, you will proceed....

After Ours . . .
Like a motherless child in a nursery
Pacing the floor for hours
Flowers; unforseen powers—
Twin Towers—
Hoping for the light of day;
We Pray
After ours,
One can honestly say,
I’ll never love this weigh; again
Between 41 and seventy four
How many more battles are there to win?
Meeting in Europe for 2012
If you’re not sleepless in Seattle
After sixty first unable to contain hurt
Blessed with a shield, helmet, and the friendship
of Missed Battles . . .
After ours;
learning what family
truely is
Start disabling rookies; after hours for Tookie
remaining veterans
Nothing left to give
Swartzenagger shouldn’t be pulling the plug
on wages—unturned pages in this life 2 live
After hours; both hands tied & behind our backs
Pushed up against the wall;
like the Lakers dynamic duo
Causing a dynasty to fall;
Repercussion of our countrys administrative
Relapse
How can we recoupe when all we know
as normal has snapped?
Into the twilight zone we’ve overlapped.
After ours; What will Be?
Swing-Low
Sweet chariots; can somebody
tell me where I really belong
wasn’t shipped over from south central Africa
ain’t coming for to carry me home
Can one feel so low yet hope
so high?
Is there an in between
Dreams and fears dragging the ground
facts lingering; Iceland is all green
I looked over my shoulder and what
I thought I saw
was shadows of history on my brow
found out; being me was against the law
of gravity. Swing low next to sweet & low a cavity
Riders;
single family homes don’t mean
one parent trying to be the sole provider
Like John Q an HMO you must always know
there’s always areas of grey
Sure hope you got some people in high places
cause for lowdown; gone be a price to pay
Swing low but come up aiming high
it may be your only chance to shoot 4 the stars
If all else fails your only hope to prevail
is swinging; aiming to raising the bar levels of peace
existing in where and who you ARE . . .
