Wendy R. Coleman is the 3rd daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Joseph & Ruby Coleman and shares this honor with her four sisters, Victoria, Mamie, Shabra, and Monica. Her additional bright lights are 7 nieces & nephews and 8 great-nieces & nephews. Her numerous spiritual children make her the most joyful mother in the universe. They make her life rich. A veteran higher education practitioner, Wendy has taught at Albany State University and at her alma mater, Alabama State University. She currently serves as Associate Professor and chair for the Department of Theatre & Dance there. Never satisfied with doing just one thing at a time, this Woman of God also owns Sweet, Sweet Spirit Publishing & JRC Event Center. She shares a vision for Coleman’s Taste restaurant with her sister Shabra. They are trusting God for manifestation in due season. Wendy accepted her calling into the ministry in 1996 and was blessed to witness and learn servant-ministry under Sr. Pastor & Co-Pastor Roosevelt & LaVerne Carter at First Monumental Faith Ministries in Albany, Georgia. She served as pastor of First Congregational Christian Church in Montgomery for 6 years. God’s guiding led her to birth Reaching The Remnant Ministries in 2018 where God is showing abundant favor and miraculous advancement.

Foreword

The faithfulness of God has always amazed me. Even when I was a child, there was something that drew me into the Word of God, a hunger that has only grown and increased over the years. My passion for writing is a manifestation of that amazement and hunger, and now that God has opened the doors through which this passion can truly live – I am even more amazed! This second book in THE REPORT SERIES is more than encouragement for me. It is yet another proof of God’s faithfulness to me.

I heard the title for this series over 15 years ago, but at that time, I was struggling to believe that writing, publishing, and creating opportunities for others to express themselves in print could ever really be something I could accomplish. But God … in the fullness of time and in the right season, He allowed me to publish my first book in 2011. Now we’re on number three with several other projects already planned. I tell you that GOD IS FAITHFUL!

The Anointed Men of God in this volume come from all walks of life: entrepreneurs, judges, educators, pastors, trainers. You name it, and they are probably within these pages. Each of them readily accepted the invitation to share their reports and when you read them, I declare you’ll be blessed! Some shared that they’ve always had a desire to be published. Some said they always wanted to tell their story. Some even asked, "You sure you want me to write something?" My response to all of these was the same: GOD IS FAITHFUL!

Thank You for making the investment and taking the time to experience Man of God: What Is Your Report? I have no doubt you will be inspired, blessed, challenged, intrigued, and waiting on the next volume with much anticipation.

Get Your MIND Right: Your Body Will Follow!

A little over 14 years ago, my family and I were evacuating from what is now known as one of the most devastating natural disasters in U.S. history: Hurricane Katrina. Sometimes I reminisce on the good times my friends and I shared in New Orleans as well as all we possessed that was destroyed, washed away, and left behind. I allow my mind back only briefly because I have learned how powerful the mind is. From those moments of somewhat painful memories, I quickly refocus on what God has allowed me to gain since then: two amazing children, success in the personal training arena, entrepreneurship, and connections with some great people in the Montgomery community. If I had tried to script the way my life would pan out after Katrina, I would not have scraped the surface of fathoming the blessings that have been granted and received. But this one thing I do know: the greatest battles and the strongest triumphs have manifested when I forced my MIND to line up with my SPIRIT … and my physical man had to follow.

This is the mindset with which I approach my professional connection with my clients. I am so grateful that over the past 14 years since I began my fitness career, it has worked time and time again. The results that God and hard work have allowed my clients to realize are nothing short of amazing. But the results don’t come for RezFIT family members (or anyone else for that matter) without achieving the MINDSET that enables success. It is a mindset that says, "My body might not want to do the work and my spirit is having its own battles, but I’ve got a mind to do it!"

Well after years of hearing Corey tell me not to quit and

keep pushing, it has become my mindset. When I want

to quit, I can hear him say, You quit and ten more!
