About this ebook
Deborah Steel
I am a Mother of two grown sons, and a 16 year old Daughter, this is my first novel, I sing at my church, enjoy prayer ministry, working with youth, and encouraging people. I was born again when I was a wild, rebellious teenage girl. The altar call convicted me greatly, and I felt the call, and prayed to accept Christ at Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship International Breakfast. This was in Braintree, Massachesetts.

Introduction
This is a Biography about my Sister, Delilah, and how GOD miraculously gave her joy, victory, and restoration of her loving family. This precious woman, a great Mother, Sister, Daughter, and Grandmother, had survived five suicide attempts. This all occurred after a bad relationship and contracting Lyme disease from a tick bite. She really walked in the shadow of the valley of death and came out on the other side completely restored.
PART I
Chapter 1
22896.pngA beautiful brown eyed girl was born, firstborn Delilah was born to Colleen Steel, who is married to a violent alcoholic. He is a fireman in the City of Ruby Land, and a veteran. Delilah was born a year before her younger brother Dominic, then came George. These precious children were born to a man who did not really enjoy having children. He was too troubled, angry, and afraid to generate the love, laughter, and patience of a good Dad. One night he, and my mother argued, which erupted into a violent fight. He attacked our Mother, and she grabbed a kitchen knife out the drawer, and stabbed Dominic to defend herself. Delilah cleaned up the blood off the kitchen floor and washed the bloody towels. (She was only 7 years old at the time of this incident. That type of trauma causes you to grow up fast.)
He was a very handsome Polish Jewish man who was quite in love with our beautiful Mother. He had shiny jet-black hair, handsome brown eyes, a square jaw, it didn’t matter he was of a little short. During the marriage they had beautiful Delilah, Dominic, and George. This dysfunctional love, full of all the mood swings an alcoholic suffers, turned out to be too much for our Mother. His name was Dominic, he died later of cirrhosis of the liver.
