I defined a Broad Mentality as having knowledge of: The Bible, (One is illiterate without a knowledge of the greatest book of all time.), God, Man, Salvation from death, The Church, The Lord’s Day, God’s Kingdom, The Last Things (end of the world.), Social Order, War, Religious Liberty, The Family, and Education. (Learn from study and experiences, and for professionals meet their qualifications (Doctors, lawyers, ministers, teachers, etc.)
Famous people travel. I have circled the earth seven times, traveled to Japan 40 times, to Pearl Harbor 25 times. I have driven thousands of miles in Europe, New Zealand, and Australia. “Study the world’s culture.” Learn the motto God gave us, “Faith, Hope, and Love”.
My life is working and learning. Young person plan your life “NOW!” Thirty years in advance I planned a sabbatical every 10 years. I had three planned concurrent careers: Academic Neurosurgery, United States Naval Reserve, and founder of a Neuroscience Center with an interchange with 25 countries. I have performed 10,000 operations.
God promises that learning will prolong your days. God will deliver and preserve His people for His Heavenly Kingdom. This book is for our family and friends.
Our (Cathy and I) “Retirement Career” is at Top Speed, but I feel it slowing down. I have no more subjects in my mind to write about. I have authored 17 books. I am on the voluntary faculty at the medical school.
I had Navy orders for 62 years (1952-2014). I was the first 80-year-old still drilling in the Navy Reserve.
We are active members of the First Baptist Church of Brandon, Florida. Cathy and I have help with chores in and around our house. To God be the Glory.
Rear Admiral Joseph H. Miller
Rear Admiral Joseph H. Miller (MC) USNR retired from the Navy Reserve in 1986 after 34 years (credited with nine years of active duty) Since retirement with annual Permissive Orders he has had consecutive Navy Orders since 1952 or for 63 years. The Permissive Orders included informal visits to Navy hospitals. RADM Miller completed three years as the first reservist to serve as a Deputy Surgeon General, Pentagon, and concurrently as Commander Naval Reserve Force, Force Medical Officer 1983-1986. On active duty, he served as Chief of Neurosurgery, National Naval Medical Center, and subsequently as Chief of Neurosurgery, US Naval Hospital, Da Nang, Vietnam. As a consultant to the Surgeon General RADM Miller chaired a committee of five prominent civilian leaders of neurosurgery to develop a Navy neurosurgical residency. While in the Pentagon, with Dr. Barry, he wrote and staffed the directive for the establishment of Physician Reservists in Medical Universities and Schools. (PRIMUS) RADM Miller has been to Bethesda over 100 times, Yokosuka, Japan 40 times, San Diego 24 times, Pearl Harbor 22 times, and every other Navy Hospital in the world. (For two months, he personally provided neurosurgery coverage at the Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii) He served in the Joint Chiefs of Staff (J4) war planning section as the only Flag officer. Later, at his recommendation, a Flag officer billet was established in J4. The first assignment was a Navy Reserve Flag Officer. He had duty with the Commander in Chief Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, December 1982, February 1983, and February 1984. RADM Miller’s Military decorations include: Legion of Merit, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Navy Unit Commendations, Republic of Vietnam Civil Action Unit Citation, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation, Navy Pistol Marksmanship, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Combat Action Ribbon, and Navy Commendation Medal with Combat V. In civilian life RADM Miller practiced Neurosurgery from 1960 through December 2000. He served as Chief of Neurosurgery at Methodist University Hospital, Memphis, and Vice-Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery University of Tennessee and University of Tennessee Training Director in Neurosurgery at the Methodist University Hospital. (1983-2000) RADM Miller was Founder and Director of the Memphis Neurosciences Center at Methodist Hospital and the University of Tennessee. He developed an international academic interchange in Neurosurgery with 27 countries. He is currently on the Voluntary Faculty of USF Medical School, Tampa, Florida. He is certified by the American Board of Neurosurgery and his memberships include: The American Association of Neurological Surgeons, The Society of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, The American College of Surgeons, The Society of Medical Consultants to the Armed Forces. Civilian activities include: Mission Service Corps, The White House, May 1978, served on the Boards of Union University, Mars Hill College, Samford University, and Regions Bank. He has researched and lectured on the Philosophy of War more than ninety-five times. RADM Miller has been a Christian for 74 years, a Southern Baptist Deacon for 64 years, and taught Sunday school for 58 years. He is currently a member of First Baptist Church, Brandon, Florida. He is a 5,258-hour pilot and recently passed the course to be a Coast Guard Captain. He is married to Cathy Miller and they live in Apollo Beach, Florida. He developed 24 Clinical Teaching Systems as a “cerebral computer model”. He was an invited medical lecturer 56 times and had numerous Medical Journal publications. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia with an M.D. degree in 1955 and Mercer University with an AB degree in 1951. He was also a proud graduate of Ludowici

You have already started laying the foundation of your lives. Will it be beautiful or not beautiful?
Love is an entity that explains itself in every situation. God is love. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love…And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
(1 John 4:8,16)
If God is not in the love
, then it is not love. Looking back can be wonderful or bad.
Cathy and I have built our house with blocks of strength, beauty, and love. We love the walls that we have built together.
We look back on beauty with a personal blessedness and thankfulness for all of life.
Twilight is defined as the light from the sky between full night and sunrise or between sunset and full night. The length of twilight depends on the time of year. The life of a human includes the physical and mental experience of an individual where there is growth, metabolism, reaction to stimulation, and reproduction. Age is the length of time during which a being or some particular qualification is achieved.
We are building the roof of life. At this height we see light in all the nights and thousands of sunsets around the world.
Where did the strength of our perfect marriage come from? We look unto the hills
of life. The Lord made the heavens and hills. We will lift up our eyes unto the hills, from where cometh our help. (Psalms 121:1)
All our life we have praised Him who made us and brought us together. Our roof is finished, and the chimney is set.
When the smoke ceases, we will already be in our second and eternal paradise, which is the never-ending eternity.
Our blessings are too numerous to count which is the proof of what we feel and say. God fought the good fight and died for us. All we did was follow Him and as He promised He gave us all the strength we needed.
Follow Him and you will have goodness and mercy all the days of your life on earth and in Heaven.

Isaac Miller moved from Ireland in 1775 and died in Tennessee in 1806. He was my great, great, great, great-grandfather.
Joseph Hardy Miller, my father, was born on December 26, 1907. He married my mother Leta Elsie Caddell who was born March 12, 1908, in Electra, Wise County, Texas. My father died on May 16, 1977 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee. He is buried in Elmwood Cemetery, listed on the National Historic Register, in the Miller plot on Miller Circle just as you enter the cemetery. Mother died August 27, 1989 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee, and is buried next to Dad in the Miller plot, at Elmwood Cemetery.
AS A CHRISTIAN CHURCH IN THIS MODERN AGE WHAT ARE OUR PROBLEMS?
As the body of Christ, the church is how Jesus is available in the world, as the Temple of the Holy Spirit. The church is how God is present in the world, as a royal priesthood, the church is how God’s kingdom continues to arrive on earth, and in our digital world, as it is in Heaven.
• The decline of membership in Christian churches.
• The steady rise of atheism since World War I.
• Biblical Illiteracy, lack of intelligence of the Bible.
• Securitization, de-Christianization of the United States, Europe and the world
• Pursuit of pleasure and leisure from Christian morality.
• Religious worldview no longer known
• Academic Bible scholars might not be trusted
• Loss of trust in the Bible
• Failure of Christian leaders
• Failure of ministers and those in churches who do not follow Jesus
• Radical intellectual enemies
• The revolution of sexuality
• Misery and degradation caused by violence, warfare, greed, poverty, disease, starvation, and most amazing of all is indifference!
99% of all animal species that have ever lived have become extinct.
Will we as humans outlive atomic power bombs and ecological destruction?
Will we survive modernism?
"The poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends. He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he… (Proverbs 14:20, 21; 19:4, 7)
Poverty is ignored from successful action.
The United States is the most powerful military nation in the world. Our aircraft carrier are 20 story buildings with the length of three football fields. We also have large battleships, cruisers, frigates, destroyers, submarines, and supply vessels.
Christendom in Europe with social and political institutions for 1000 years has largely dissipated.
Churchgoers fell below 10% in some populations. There has occurred a spontaneous combustion of rebellious spirits around the world.
The 20th century was the world’s bloodiest century with 108 million war dead.
President Trump seems to be starting to change the current failure to learn anything from the previous one.
Be without fear is the face of your in the face of your enemies.
Modern social activities have made access by non-professionals, which undermines the plausibility structure of our churches.
As Christian leaders we have in our authority to deny actions in the church that does not glorify our Father in Heaven.
As leaders we are to identify ourselves. Who are we in God’s kingdom? What is our place? Where are we? We are God’s spokesman. Do we speak when we are capable of the subject?
In this world we have a high calling of a digital self where no longer does Christ live in yourself. Cyber activity may replace shadows of our former selves. With Jesus as our digital self, memories and minds, our sins are forgiven. We do not live our lives in the flesh, but by faith in the son of God. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
(Gal. 2:20)
Keep in mind what Paul said of his place with Jesus. "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. (1 Tim. 1:15)
We must not speak of a digital world but of digital worlds which we control as followers of Christ Jesus.
The Internet has been a great equalizer where anyone can record, search, and learn. Social media platforms have reshaped the numbers of followers and their likes
and dislikes

Popularity has replaced credibility.
Such access by non-professionals can undermine the acceptable structure of a religious system.
ZIP Codes are more than postal delivery. Each one is the mix of geography, race, ethnicity, poverty, affluence, growth, and decline. Growing ZIP Codes show growing churches, shrinking Zip codes show shrinking churches.
Global Christianity includes 33,820 denominations and para-denominations. In the world one cannot pinpoint a core of the Christian religion. As biblical Christians we note this at the beginning of this paper.
With all our knowledge human beings have suffered appallingly because of poverty, malnutrition, deprivation of water, disease, warfare, fascism, capitalist, terrorism, nationalism, racism, sexism, and ageism.
The Kingdom of God rules in the hearts of His followers. God Himself is our power. God’s knowledge is beyond the greatest of human rational knowledge.

We are a citizen of the world.
Our duty oversees all things.

Common sense is noted when one has constellation of the mind. Similar to the 88 groups of stars forming patterns or a group of qualities.
Surgeons must have their knives
ready at all times
God gives better things to men who make themselves better. Freedom from Fear
A man knows that his body is his property.
God has made all the things in the universe and the universe itself is completely free. The parts of it is for the use of the whole. Understanding is our part of the whole. We being naturally noble, magnanimous, and in his power freedom. On our own power we will be free, from God happy, free from harm, pious, thankful to God for all things.
It becomes a time to die. We are to make it to be no tragedy. Speak as it is time for the matter of the body to be resolved into the things out of which it was made. We have been made free. God created us and made us master of our bodies. What God chose is better than what we choose. It makes no difference if we are killed by an accident, disease, cancer, or by soldier in war.
We serve God as long as he allows our body to do it. Leave the needs needed by your family. Give away your books. Turn your mind to the last. You have your choice about things at death. Man is distinguished from the animals, by having the love of purity, contained in him.
The things that happened to us are according to reason. God gives better things to man who is trying to be better. Great is God who has given us things we need to cultivate the earth. Great is God who has given us hands, the power of swallowing, a stomach, imperceptible growth, and the power of breathing while we sleep. Everything that happens in the world makes it easy to praise Providence. God oversees all things.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

The carbon-14 of diamonds are believed to have been formed millions of years ago. This suggest the earth was formed thousands of years ago and not millions.
Science:
• There are no human witnesses to the origin of life, and no geological evidence of its origin exists.
• DNA is a reservoir for the information of life. It is life’s blueprint God left for life to exist. DNA is the information system for life to exist. Intelligence tells us that DNA came from an intelligent source of the Creator.
• Man was miraculously created in the image of God by God. Humans have no ancestry (line of descent) except that he is descent from God.
• Man reveals God’s image in many ways such as his ability to imagine and make objects never seen before.
• He is able to show compassion for strangers.
• He can ponder his role and fate in creation. He sees that he is the only creature that has a relationship to God.
• Men are God’s most treasured creation.
• God died for us and made provisions for our salvation.
• Scripture clearly presents God is the Creator of all things.Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.

• Powerful men over many centuries have tried to destroy the Bible. All have failed.

• The Bible was written with 40 authors and many eyewitnesses. (Luke 1:2; 2 Peter 2:16) Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, Moses, Daniel, Jude, and all others in the Bible where reliable eyewitnesses. (No other religion has eyewitnesses close to this number.
Another amazing fact is that of transformed lives. History is replete with testimonies of radically changed lives into a new creature. (2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 4:24)

Education: The knowledge of science, the skills of technology, and the techniques of commerce must be transmitted to others. True knowledge and wisdom once known not be either lost or corrupted. Teaching must be in truth, in fullness, and purity, in love and wisdom. Glorify Christ in his perfect love and absolute truth will e united forever.
Capital punishment requires oversight of human relations through government, politics, sociology, indeed all legitimate human endeavors.
Man’s logic is might makes right
. The Bible indicates right justifies might.
Man’s justice can be punitive (penal), punishing the criminals, as a matter of social morality, for the wrong committed involving jail time, fines, loss of driver’s license, a criminal record, or even capital punishment.
Ethics concerns what is morally right or wrong. Justice concerns what is legally right or wrong.

Since 3600 B.C. the world has known only 292 years of peace. In that period, stretching more than 55 centuries, there have been an incredible 14,531 wars in which over 3.6 billion people have been killed.
1. Introduction
Crime is rampant and out-of-control.
1775 - 2018 the United States has been at War 93.5% of the time fighting Wars in 80 nations, six continents and 40% of the world’s countries with a cost of 71.9 trillion dollars.
Criminals must be eliminated as it is obvious, they cannot be rehabilitated as noted in history.
In World War II (1941 - 1945) there were 291,557 deaths. In the war with Afghanistan and Syria the United States deaths are 331,765. This is 40,280 more in the recent note wars. The Declaration of Independence is the most memorable epoch in the history of America. Our founding fathers were men of patriotism, virtue, wisdom, charity, courage, diligence, frugality, humanity, humility, justice, and patience.
War is a political instrument needed to defeat the enemy of our freedom. America is a divine blessing from God, not man. There are emotional forces of spiritual and moral courage. All men cherish civic order, religion, science, and art which depends upon security provided by military might.
As a general theory, human salvation
must in times be supported by military strength. Political factionalism, which we have, is as bad as any violence or conspiracy of tyrannical rule.
Knowledge and honesty are always the rule in private and public affairs.
The great age of migration is now!

Four coordinated terrorist attacks using commercial airliners by the Islamic group al-Qaeda killed 2,996 people and injured over 6,000 others. American Airlines flight #11, and United Airlines flight #175 crashed into both Towers of the World Trade Center. (Both Towers collapsed.) American Airlines flight #77 crashed into the Pentagon, killing 184 people. United Airlines flight #93 initially headed for Washington, D.C. crashed into a field in Pennsylvania after passengers attacked the hijackers. All the immigration laws and actions have failed. (February 2019) There are 26 million illegal aliens in the United States as of January 2019. (This is five million more than the population of Florida.)

related to the fear of criminal activity in the U.S.
In 2000 there were 15,517 murders in the U.S. This is 42.5 per day. In over 2 months that will be more than those killed at Pearl Harbor that started World War II in 1941.
44 known terrorists’ organizations are already in every country in the world (including the US).
There are 11,593,860 serious crimes committed in the U.S. each year or 31,764 per day. There are 400,000 illegal immigrants in our prisons at a cost to us of 20 billion dollars per year. (We could build 5 walls in one year with this money.) There are 600,000 prisoners released each year in the U.S. This is 6 million in 10 years and represents a persistent criminal base.
The police and the F.B.I. have lost control of crime-They just react! A murderer is a murderer whether he is mentally defective or not!
If Islam continues to grow at the present rate by 2020 there will be more Muslims in the US cities than Christians. (Islam did not begin until 600 years after Christ.) Most prisoners in prison have no remorse and continue their war against America even in prison.
Gangs and mobs have been around for hundreds of years. They are tolerated in America presently.
Gun Ownership
89% of gun owners see it as important.
85% of gun owners say they have a right to own a gun and it is essential to their sense of freedom.
The 130,000,000 people in United States with a gun (2018) could develop the largest citizens militia in history. The FBI processes 2,500,000-gun purchases per month.
Crime in this country has increased tremendously through the last 50-100 years. By May 25, 2018 the police and the FBI can only react to crime.
In the Bible Jesus told his disciples that if they did not have a sword, to go buy one
. They had two. (Luke 22:36) He knew the people needed to protect themselves against raiders.
The potential for war and terrorism has never been so great. The ancient savages are now called criminals

Wake Up America!! Thirty-eight years ago, it was noted that the best police force cannot stop crime and it is still rising!

2. A Falling Away from Christianity
In 1922 there were 167 Protestant seminaries in the United States: In these 95 years there has been a falling away
from Christianity.
The "Nones (No religion) already outnumber Catholics and mainline Protestants. Soon there will be more
Nones" than any single group of Christians.
The philosophy of our country is being changed by the migrants.
The worst place on earth for Christians is North Korea.
Iran is now a threat to the world.
Of 50 countries there was noted to be 36% Islamic and 10% Christian.
Massive hatred has prevailed over patriotism.
Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun. 100,000 people die every minute. Life and death don’t matter.

Man is what he believes, which is related to truth or ignorance. Man is master of his fate, but he must seek the truth.
Truth is on the march, and nothing can stop it!
Individual happiness is self-realization.
Human happiness thrives only in a certain kind of environment.
5. Declaration of Independence, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
Private Property is the most important single foundation stone undergirding human liberty and human happiness.
Marriage is the proper remedy. It is the most natural state of man, and therefore the state in which you are most likely to find solid happiness. It is the man and woman united that makes the complete human being. Man claims the tribute of patriotism, who should subvert these great pillars of human happiness?
The Founders (Anglo-Saxon) Peoples Law noted four crimes of treason:
(Cowardice, refusing to fight, desertion, homosexuality) They warned against the well fare state
where the government endeavors to take care of everyone from the cradle to the grave.
Divine Gift of Reason to Man
A special endowment from God: In all heaven and earth there is reason and reason when it is full-grown and perfected is rightly called wisdom. Those who have reason must believe that men have Law in common with God. They also must share Justice. We must obey the divine mind and the God of transcendent power.
God’s law is right reason which becomes wisdom and justice when developed. The first and second are commandments from God and on these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind…Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
This is the truth. (Matt. 22:36-40)
Love is a Mighty Social Bond
The love of one’s fellowmen provides the desire to promote true justice among mankind. We learn virtue through education.
Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom.
6. Politics is Considered a Divine Science
People in politics are with a heart calling.
Politics and war must be studied.
All history informs us.
A formal education must have religion, morality, and knowledge. The soul of man is immortal.
Christianity is a form of Democratic and Republican religion.
If America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.
7. Equality is Impossible
The Founders distinguished between equal rights and other areas where equality is impossible. This is equal opportunity, but not equal results.
Unalienable Rights
Unalienable or natural rights not enumerated in the Declaration of Independence:
(The right of self-government, the right to bear arms for self-defense, the right to own property, make personal choices, free conscience, choose a profession, choose a mate, beget one’s kind, right to assemble, to petition, free speech, free press, fruits of one’s labors, improve one’s position through barter and sale, contrive and invent, explore the earth, privacy, personal security, natures’ necessities (air, food, water, clothing, and shelter) fair trial, free associations and write to contract.Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force.

A person’s property is a projection of life itself. Every man has property

A Free People will not survive unless they stay strong. We are blessed with freedom and prosperity if we remain a virtuous and adequately armed nation: Peace is the goal, but strength is the means. The way to secure peace is to be prepared for war.
