About this ebook

War is an armed conflict between states or nations. The causes of war may be ideological, political, racial, economic, or religious. War has been a feature of history. The use of fighting forces requires strategy and tactics.

Efforts to end war have all failed, including the League of Nations and the United Nations. The laws of war are not recognized. There has been no success in leaving out the civilian population in any war.

The biblical concept of war required that God declare the war.

The LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war from generation to generation (Exod. 17:16).

The book of the wars of the LORD (Num. 21:14).

Our fight against radical Islam is a fight for LORDs battles (1 Sam. 18:7).

Our holy war is against murder, terrorists, the rise of ISIS and forty-four known terrorist groups, and a vanishing freedom. It is nowfight or die!

    WAR

    WE ARE AT WAR!

    WE MUST ACCEPT IT!

    WE MUST WIN!

    OR DIE!

    I. Introduction

War (a state of armed military conflict) between states, nations, or groups and a primary part of history has been present since recorded civilization. Since man has been described or has been present, history confirms that there will always be wars. Wars, as a whole, cannot be clearly defined. Wars form the boundaries of history and there have been thousands of wars.

We must learn in this age something new, that the horror of radical Islam is taking over the world. Our leaders who are filled with negative talk about each other have been weak and only verbally active. The self-aggrandizement of Washington is noted! One cannot defeat an unknown enemy. There are millions of Muslims in Europe, a large group in their population. President Obama was negative and was without a response to Islam. Our only chance to survive as a completely free nation is our new President, Donald Trump, and support from God.

An entirely new concept for Americans and Christians is that the West values life. Islamists value death. Hatred for any reason is a strong evil force that is spreading in the whole world, including America.

We know that our enemy includes at least forty-four militant Islamic organizations. Many of these have multiple groups in multiple nations, which makes them numberless. Nations with the highest rate of terrorist attacks include: Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen, Nigeria, and Somalia. Their violence is the method, religious zeal is the inspiration, and the belief that they represent the will of Allah is the motivation. The infiltration of these groups makes our enemy global, including groups in America.

There is no possible reconciliation of the Koran and Western foundations. The enemy thinks that in the end the West (us) will surrender. The militant Islamic groups are strong in their leadership, violence, and funding. To win demands an immediate response from our political and spiritual leaders. Our freedom which includes: patriotism with individualism, active communication with our government, equality, and our inalienable rights, must be preached and practiced.

When did all this begin? America’s first encounter with the Islamic holy war - jihad, was in 1785. In London, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams met with the ambassador of the Tripolitan pirates. When they asked why Tripoli was making war on a country that had done them no harm the Tripoli ambassador replied, It was written in their Koran, that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave. Muslims slain in this warfare go to paradise.

Islam is at the core of some of the Arabs’ troubles, which is to combine spiritual and earthly authority. There is to be no separation of mosque and state. This has stunned the development of independent political institutions. A militant minority of Muslims are caught up in a search for legitimacy through fanatical interpretations of the Koran.

I have placed my life in combat before where I was bombed in my operation room and bullets came across my jeep. I will do it again if asked.

Muslims are those who submit to Allah, their god.

Jesus said, He that hath no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. (Luke 22: 36)

Biblically speaking Jesus said, And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet for nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom: there shall be famines, and pestilence, and earthquakes in divers places, all these are the beginnings of sorrows. (Matt. 24: 6-8) In the Bible, the LORD’s book of wars is Numbers. Wherefore it is said in the book of the wars of the LORD, What he did in the Red sea, and in the brooks of Arnon. (Num. 21:14)

    Psalms 46: 8-11

Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. God’s army (LORD of Hosts) is with us and is our refuge.

The cause of war cannot always be determined, but includes religious, political, economic, and various forms of ideology. Carl von Clausewitz (1780-1831) was a Prussian general and military strategist. He fought in the wars of Napoleon and played an important role in the Battle of Waterloo. Clausewitz said, War is merely the continuation of policy by other means. (5, p. 594) Men are the instruments in war.

War has been present since the beginning of time. War is the use of war weapons between nations, local or international, states, or groups organized with weapons. All the above has either declared or demonstrated war against a group or country. The causes of war have a long list including: political, economic, religious conflicts, ideological, national or imperialism, racial, to gain land, or militarism from a military class in society.

War is a feature of history, and history can be divided by its wars. Countries with war come and go. Win, lose, or die. Industrial development has influenced the magnitude of war making it much more fatal with the masses of people. War has changed from thousands of soldiers against thousands of soldiers to machines against machines, with rockets, and missiles from any object. The world can now destroy itself.

Peace efforts have formed including: peace congresses, the League of Nations after World War I and the United Nations after World War II. They have all been failures from the war standpoint. The threat of nuclear weapons has followed with a cry for limited development and disarmament. At least nine nations possess nuclear weapons. The threat of a nuclear war and retaliation has changed the whole concept of war. The solution and the complexity of the subject is beyond our knowledge. Our only response is to develop our ability to win.

Atomic bombs or A-bombs, the instrument of massive destruction is a big subject! The first A-bomb was produced at the Los Alamos, New Mexico, laboratory and was successfully tested. A bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, with a TNT force of 12,500 tons. Three days later a more powerful bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, Japan. There was widespread death, injury, and destruction. Intense neutron and gamma radiation was very damaging to living tissue for a long time after the bombs. In Hiroshima 130,000 people were killed, injured, or missing. The city was 90% leveled. In Nagasaki 75,000 people were killed or injured and 30% of the city was devastated.

There have been many nuclear disarmament proposals, but none have been agreed upon by all the nations with the bombs. In 1625, Hugo Grotius and Emer de Vattel introduced humane practices. Other treaties came in the 19th and 20th centuries. The Declaration of Paris, in 1856, The Hague conferences in 1899, 1907, and the Geneva Convention in 1964, 1906, 1929, and 1949. All came to naught.

There are no modern laws of war that all countries have adopted. If all countries don’t agree on a nuclear war and a few countries continue to proliferate development such as North Korea and Iran, both who hate us, what are we to do? In my opinion, at this time, an armistice (truce) is the same as surrender. All laws and agreements are ignored when a war starts. War crimes have occurred in all wars, including Americans who were tried after Vietnam, but not the enemies war crimes that were never tried in international courts.

The US military is the mightiest fighting force on earth and the world’s only mega - power. When being attacked from within the United States atomic power is of little use. When the Twin Towers in New York crumbled our world changed forever.

The atomic bomb age began at Hiroshima in 1945. This ended WWII. The question must be asked, Would Truman today drop a bomb on Afghanistan to save American lives?

A Single Integrated Operation Plan (SIOP) developed by President John F. Kennedy involved using 1500 warheads being dropped on 300 Russian cities.

The idea of the Abolition of Nuclear Weapons began with President Ronald Reagan, We seek the total elimination one day of nuclear weapons from the face of the Earth. (Inaugural Address, 1985) They had no success in the abolition of nuclear weapons. At great cost, we are keeping and building America’s nuclear forces today.

The threat of global atomic war has gone down, but the risk of a nuclear attack has gone up. A new disorder is seen in more nations getting nuclear weapons. America’s position is that as long as these weapons exist, the United States will maintain a safe, secure, and effective arsenal to deter any enemy. Due to loose weapons, nuclear terrorism poses a greater threat than a nuclear war. Since 1996 a Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) has not been accomplished.

A long delayed Nuclear Posture Review is to be released in the near future. (A war scholar is reminded that in the 12th century the pope tried to ban the crossbow.) The most ignorant of all peace treaties was the Pact of Paris in 1928. This treaty outlawed war for all time. The Japanese broke the treaty in two years when they invaded Manchuria in 1931. There have been hundreds of wars since then.

Nine countries now have nuclear weapons including:

    • Russia (7,300) (Russia’s conventional forces have withered and they have an increased dependence on nuclear weapons.

    • United States (7,000)

    • France (300)

    • China (260)

    • United Kingdom (215)

    • Israel (80)

    • Pakistan (100-130)

    • India (100-120)

    • North Korea (<10?)

September 23, 2016: North Korea vows to boost their Nuclear capabilities. The world’s most dangerous hot spot that can ignite the outbreak of a Nuclear War!"

    • Iran will soon be added!

None of the many proposed Nuclear Agreements have been agreed upon by all the nations with Atomic Power! Added to Nuclear Terrorism, which now may be more likely, is Radiation, Biological, and Chemical Terrorism.

If you were Emperor what would you do? Would you wait until fired upon and both nations killed? All countries will not sign an agreement and North Korea is openly warning us of their capability of destroying the United States.

ON WAR by Clausewitz (1780-1831) is the most famous book on the things of war. All the most famous scholars on war have studied Clausewitz’s information on war. This has included Vladimir Lenin, Mao Zedong, Napoleon, and Kissinger to name only a few. Clausewitz put on a uniform at the age of twelve and served through the Revolutionary Wars of 1792 - 1815. He became a Prussian General in the late 19th century and was director of the Prussian War College.

Three of his many sayings: (78, p. 5-7)

    1. There is no single standard of excellence in war.

    2. War is not an independent phenomenon, the continuation of politics by different means.

    3. There can be no question of a purely military evaluation of a great strategic issue, nor of a purely military scheme to solve it.

    Carl von Clausewitz

Clausewitz describes the dramatic transitions of warfare (77, p. 310)

The arms of beliefs of war.

    1. Destruction of the enemy’s military force

    2. This is affected only by battle

    3. Only great battles can produce great results

Greatness occurs when combatants unite for a great battle. The supremacy of mind over matter is suggested. Gaston Bouthoul’s book, "War", remains the number one book on the philosophy of war.

In history, there are many restricted, shriveled-up forms of war. War demands the downfall of the enemy.

Rules of war frequently give way to passion, hatred, friction, and uncertainty. War is filled with hidden clouds. Mistakes are made. Fear, negligence, preoccupation, and multiple authorities can cause battle loses.

Weak motives arrive from ill will, false sense of purpose, exhaustion, and accidents. War is an act of violence that fulfills the purpose. Those that believe in war and think that bloodshed can always be avoided are foolish.

The purpose of war is to attempt to overthrow the enemy. The reality of war reveals many other problems. The political objective is of great value. Blind passion for war-blinds much to be purchased by war. When a mine explodes it cannot be guided. It follows its own laws. War in the real world is a real political instrument, but with its own force. In our world of political correctness war becomes a mass of weak ideas and without any action we lose! One must learn the great mass of phenomena and of their relationship to life. A total effort is to destroy the enemies armed forces, occupy its country, and exterminate the population. War is a contest between humans that involves: fear, passion, genius, as well as clouds, friction, and chance. Knowledge gained from war may be a guidance for the future. In war, everything is uncertain and variable, intertwined with psychological forces and effects, and the product of continuous interaction.

Kindhearted people are fools in war. War is violence, and violence begets violence. (76, p. 190) One may win all the battles, and still lose the war. (76, p. 216)

An intuitive war genius needs massive people support. The authority between the military leaders and politicians is a crucial relationship and needs to be clear in the beginning. There is a political picture of war and if the military is limited by politics the war will be lost or limited forever! Further complications will be made when one side breaks the rules of war, which is common. Our politicians put their thumbs in their mouth and say they shouldn’t be doing that, and send a note of sorrow and regret to the victims.

    The Iliad of Homer

The subject of the Iliad is the Trojan War. It was the Greek’s successful invasion of the Asia minor city- state of Troy. (This is now northwestern Turkey.) Beginning about 2000 B.C. nine cities were destroyed by natural forces or pillage. Troy was the seventh.

When Homer writes everything moves, everything lives, and is put into action. When one reads Homer his verses makes them a hearer or a spectator. The verses are his army. It is like a powerful star where the violence of its course, draws all things within its whirlpool. Homer opens the soul of poetry His fable is a supernatural and legendary happening and may be probable, allegorical, or marvelous. Homer makes one’s imagination fertile with the qualifications of the mind. Every battle is above the last in greatness, horror, and confusion. The Iliad of Homer reveals that wars may have divine intervention.

    "Read Homer once, and you can read no more;

For all books else appear so mean, so poor,

Verse will seem prose: but still persist to read

And Homer will be all the books you need."

John Sheffield, Essay on Poetry (Published 1723)

The Iliad of Homer (18th Century BC) relates the long war between Greece and Troy. It reveals the terrible actions and unexpected results of war. Homer reveals how the none-conquered as well as the conqueror ever escape unscathed from the violence. Troy city walls stand strong with no sign of falling. (80, p. 50)

Wars may last so long that they are no longer worth fighting. There is a glorification of war, that most people wanted even after a long period of war. (This is noted in the 16th year of our war with Afghanistan, which is our longest war in history.) The horrors of war affect the victor and the defeated.

    Women in Combat

For thousands of years women have served in many positions in the military. Note that this review is for those who were part of action in combat. There are many undocumented notes on this subject.

Leigh Ann Hester is the first female soldier since World War II to receive the Silver Star medal for valor in combat. She enlisted in the National Guard in 2001. In July 2004, she was ordered to Iraq where she was assigned to a military police unit. The job was to protect critical supply routes. According to the Pentagon’s policy, women are not allowed to be assigned to units where their primary mission is to engage in direct combat on the ground.

It was a Sunday morning around 9 a.m. on a road east of Baghdad. The vehicle in front of hers took a direct hit with a rocket propelled grenade.

Three members of her team were shot and wounded. Dozens of insurgents were firing on them. Her squad leader, Staff Sgt. Timothy Nein, grabbed her arm and told her to follow him. They ran toward the insurgents’ trench line, took up position and started firing. It lasted about 45 minutes. Hester killed three of the 50 insurgent fighters. When it was over, everyone in her unit had survived.

Hester and Nein were both awarded Silver Stars for their actions that day. Hester is the first woman to win the award and the only woman to get it for engaging in direct combat with the enemy. (7)

The Silver Star is the third-highest decoration in the U.S. military for valor. (The Medal of Honor is the highest, followed by the Distinguished Service Cross.)

The military has opened thousands of jobs to women in units that are closer to the front lines than ever before. However, the rules still ban women from serving in the most dangerous combat jobs such as infantry, armor, and special operations forces.

Famous Sayings of Russian Women in Combat in World War II

A million women fought in the Soviet Army. They mastered all military specialties including: Tank driver, infantryman, and machine gunner". (4, Paraphrased)

War is an all too intimate experience.

A human being is greater than war.

There is a tremor of eternity in humans at all times in war.

The soul of the event is the feeling of reality.

It is not possible to explain War to a six-year-old.

War is first of all murder, and then hard work.

We listen to the sound of our own soul.

In the face of death all ideas pale. We still live in history. Words have more than once lead us away from the truth.

    • "The truth is what we dream about. It’s what we want to be.

    Ten men violated one girl.

There were no prisoners in war, there were only traitors.

War is war. It’s not some kind of theater.

After war, some human lives are worthless.

To kill is more terrible than to die.

War is also life with many roads.

There were two women snipers with 75 killings.

    Destiny is something beyond words.

In war, our minds make records in the soul and a history of the soul.

In school, they taught us that there was no God, but many people prayed.

I saw a crying young man shot in the head which turned me into an adult at once.

In war, you are half man and half beast.

Our women pilots flew and shot down aces.

I was happy that I wasn’t able to hate.

The gift of tears is a woman’s gift.

After fighting for two years bullets were afraid of us".

There were two truths in war; one’s own truth is driven underground, and the common one is filled with the spirit of time.

When things live in the house for a long time, they acquire a soul.

There were many that died at the hands of a class enemy.

You can’t shoot unless you hate. It’s a war.

War is known as a meat grinder".

The Germans didn’t take women prisoners they shut them at once.

They came to my land and there was much hatred in my soul.

Death can’t be tamed. You can’t get used to it.

They amputated his legs and his right arm.

In World War II there were 20 Americans who lost three extremities. I saw one and visited a special hospital for them. Another one was a marine General’s son.

To earth we came and to earth we return. What is the color of war? It is the color of the earth.

All the women soldiers wanted to study the art of war.

Love is the only personal event in wartime.

A wounded man was waiting to die, a woman’s smile brought him back to life.

He lost one leg, but he was happy to be alive.

The nurses would sing and the severely wounded would fall asleep.

It was not an enemy fighting-divisions, battalions, companies- but people, partisans, and underground fighters: men young and old, women, children. Tolstoy called this many-faced surge the cudgel of the people’s war and the hidden warmth of patriotism".

    Hatred was stronger than fear.

The Germans shot children and had fun doing it.

War was woe. There’s nothing to remember only the war.

My mother believed in God she prayed all through the war. There was a partisan blockade on all the roads.

    War-it’s always funerals.

    • To her dead son a mother said, You promised you would bring a young wife home! But you are marrying the earth…

When I got home I kissed my mother. I kissed the ground. I had so much love in my heart and so much hatred.

I was arrested and taken to jail. They beat me. I learned what a fascist manicure was. A machine was used to stick needles under your fingernails. It was hellish pain and I lost consciousness.

I was naked and one of the torturers grabbed me by the breast and I spat in his face. They sat me on an electric chair and I felt electric current running through my whole body.

At home after the war, after learning to hate they had to learn to love again.

A German woman had been raped all night long. They then tied a grenade between her legs.

The Germans were hated throughout the war.

    • I was afraid of growing old more than of the war".

German tanks drove over our children.

Out of 300 girls on the front line only 10 were left at the end of the day.

All of our fields had been mined.

Human life is a great gift, but man is not the owner of that gift.

There can’t be one heart for hatred and another for love. We only have one, and I always thought about how to save my heart.

Death, death, pain, pain-In war it’s never over!

    Dogs Role in War

The dog may have been the first animal in the ancient world to be tamed. Ancient Egyptians raised greyhounds. (Proverbs 30:31) Dogs were highly esteemed as hunting companions by the Assyrians in 7 B.C. Dogs are noted to have eaten the crumbs under the Hebrews table. (See Matthew 15:27, Mark 7:28)

War dogs were used by the Egyptians, Greeks, Persians, Samaritans, Baganda, Alans, Slavs, Britons and the Romans. The Molossus dog was the strongest known to the Romans, and was specifically trained for battle. They served as sentries or patrols, and they were sometimes taken into battle. The earliest use of war dogs in battle was recorded by Alyattes of Lydia against the Cimmerians around 600 B.C. The dogs killed some invaders and routed others.

The first use of dogs in United States was in the Seminole Wars (1832). In the 7th century B.C. in the war waged by the Ephesians against the Magnesian, the Magnesian horsemen used dogs to break the enemy ranks followed by horsemen and spears, and then a Calvary charge. Dog were used in the Battle of Marathon (470 B.C.) In World War I (1914 –1918), dogs were used to deliver vital messages. About a million dogs were killed in action. One dog, Sargent Stubby, was given the rank of sergeant through combat.

In World War II (1941-1945), the Soviets strapped dogs with explosives and sent them against the invading German tanks with limited success.

Dogs were used in many ways:

    • They were also used to find a shell or mine. The dog would sit next to it and wait for it to be cleared.

    • Sheepdogs crawled to the injured; many of these dogs were killed.

    • A bomb knocked a snowdrift over a soldier. The first-aid dog found him and dug into the snow. The dog took his ear-flopped hat that held his Death Passport and the soldier was rescued.

    • A man was in a village and had his dog next to him. The dog began whimpering and led him to where his wife and three children that had been killed. The dog sat next to them and wept like a human.

    • The enemy used dogs to find those who were hiding. There was a crying baby hiding with a group. If they were found they would all be killed. Because the mother could not keep her baby quiet she held her baby under water a long time and they escaped.

In Russia during WWII everyone in war had a Death Passport somewhere on their body. This helped solve the problem of the identity of a dead person. There were 20 million deaths in Russia in WWII.

    From 1966 – 1973, 5000 dogs served in Vietnam.

In 2011, a dog named Cairo was with the Navy SEALs when Osama bin Laden was killed. (8) The concept of the war dog remains alive and well. In modern warfare, they are commonly used in drug and explosives detection. The latest canine tactical vests are outfitted with cameras and durable microphones that allow dogs to relay audio and visual information to their handlers

As of 2011, 600 U.S. Military dogs were actively participating in the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. There is a dog star in the sky.

The following is a report of the violence and killing of some of them.

The West is confounded with the mystery of the massive violence in our world. They have become mentally unbalanced and this has pushed them into mental retardation. The facts of the violence and destruction of millions of men, women, and children passes from their sight of existence. (It does not happen so there is no action or response.) It ceases to exist by mental eclipse. They discuss the evil action of our enemy and the enemy of the United States of America, but the motivation is to show how smart they are. Their ignorance has been flamed out in their minds. Our response to our enemy giving poison gas to a civilization where babies and small children are seen on television foaming at the mouth while struggling for breath and then they die was to hit their airfield with missiles and kill ninety-four of the enemy. The killing of ninety-four of them in our exhortation has buried the problem of the world vision. We patted ourselves on the back, but it has no effect on its war.

The killing just keeps on and on. The ninety-four of their dead is a drop in the paradise bucket for them. Blind mentalities hide the truth of death headed for us in the world. For years, we have been fighting them like children in a sand pile. In all these years, they continue to grow, killing and conquering new lands. They want death! We need to wake up and recognize the evils of murderous deaths brought on daily by the world’s enemy.

Their chief objective is to conquer America. When they do this, the world, our world falls. To them we are the infidels. There is now Islamization of the world. There are 20 million Muslims in Europe comprising 15% of the European population. They preach against, and kill European Christians regularly. Our blind attitude blocks our ability to face militant Islam. Hatred in any form cannot be killed by words. Violence is their action, Allah and Mohammed and paradise after death is their inspiration. Their blind religious interest in their eternity is their mental force.

One Ummah without the West; until Islam rules there will be no rest.

These words, said by children aged six to 13, were broadcast during a solidarity ceremony with the Islamic State in Sydney, Australia, in December 2016. From Mali to Jakarta, from Sydney to Rome, children are being taught by, militant Islamic terrorists to adopt this chant. (23)

They feel that the West in the end will surrender. They know that by 2050, with the present trend there will be more Muslims in the world than Christians. The earth is their objective. Wake up world before it is too late!
