    Butch started writing poems after spending 10 days in a coma. He was in ICU for 37 days, 10 of them in a coma. He was released after 50 days. The doctors told his family to pull the plug several times. During his recovery time, he started writing his feelings in a journal. Many of these writings came out as poems. Butch started writing about life and how he felt. During the month of October, he watched all the support for breast cancer awareness. One day during prayer he wrote his first poem about cancer. He wanted to give back to the community. He wanted to encourage others that were battling his terrible disease. Butch is the author of “Inspiration for Tough Times” and “Christmas Poems from the Heart.” All books published by X-libris Publishing Company. Praying for you and hope you will be encouraged by my books. Butch now resides in Royal Palm Beach, Florida.
