ADVENT is a time of waiting and we have become a congregation of experts. I nominate the people of Planet Earth for the Nobel Prize for Waiting. Even in a country smaller than Montana, we have modified our motto ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’ to ‘Keep Waiting and Stay Home’.

We have waited for Brexit negotiators to come up with a deal, for test and trace to slow down the virus and waited for schools, theatres, restaurants and shops to re-open.
