About this ebook

This book is about my life—a combination of poetic truths and an expression of a variety of emotions that I experienced through the process of my journey thus far. I started writing at age sixteen and continued over the years, and now at fifty-eight years old, I’m finally ready to share myself. The reason I decided to get my book published is for my family so I could leave a part of me that will last forever long after I’m gone—to leave a bit of love, inspiration, and hope and to help them on their journey in life. I want them to know that no matter what happens in life, if God has blessed you to wake up every morning, you have another opportunity to live life the way God intended you to, instead of just existing. Look for the blessing in each day. Love hard and play more. Remember that God blesses you to be a blessing to others.

Poetic Truths: My Extraordinary Journey
Author

Marie Gary

Marie Gary was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. Her love for people and her capacity to mentor others through the challenges of the human experience has been a common thread throughout her life. She is the mother of three beautiful children and the grandmother of seventeen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Marie resides in a small Californian town, where she has been the owner and operator of a successful childcare business for thirty years. Poetic Truths: My Extraordinary Journey is her debut book. This book is not just poems about the intoxication of love (although a few selections are for grown folks only); it is more an expedition through the deepest and often most profound experiences in life that we all share.
