Darkness and Light
We’ve all had some valleys of darkness in our life.
What I just want you to know is where there is darkness there is light.
Walk through the darkness with your head held high.
Don’t give in to the problems and try to hide.
For God is with you always no matter what you may think.
And just remember to thank Him for the simple things.
And then when you run into a person that makes an impact on you.
Just remember that person is God’s creation and that is what He’s telling you.
Dreams
I hear your voice calling to the night,
I wake up and turn on the light.
I look at my watch only to see,
that time has not stopped
only slipping away from me.
Come back,
I cry to myself,
but all that is left is your picture on my shelf.
I reach out for you but you’re not there,
just how much more can I bare?
So I go back to sleep because you are in my dreams,
and these you cannot take away from me.
Then I hear the telephone ring,
I jump up to answer it.
Hello,
I cry,
but there is no reply,
I just cannot understand why.
Then reality comes back only to see,
your picture on my shelf just staring at me.
Dying
When someone dies that you love,
it’s so very hard and you think you’re never gonna get over the painful experience.
You feel alone and afraid that death is something you can’t deal
