As an inspirational woman, I never gave up. I wrote my first book, “Things I Have Put Behind, Some Things I Remember”. This pushed me to write another book and I chose to write a children’s book about the “Great Adventure of John and Suzie”. I wrote this book to give you the readers a chance to know how precious children are. Love them with all your heart and God will reward you for the rest of your lives.

PREFACE
THE ADVENTURES OF JOHN AND SUZIE
I heard the music in my head a long time ago to write a story about two adventurous children. I was born in Montego Bay Jamaica West Indies. As a bold and beautiful Caribbean girl I have no children of my own. As I became closer to my siblings children as an aunt, I developed a special love for children. They make me laugh when I am sad or unhappy. This is what helped me focus. Not having any children of my own I decided to write this book.
This is a story about two adventurous children who are enjoying their summer vacation with their Grandmother. I draw from some of my experiences when I was a young girl. Enjoying what the new day would bring. I would enjoy the experiencing of trying something new or making new friends. I loved taking in the beauty of nature. The fun I had with the other children, the experience everyday life. I wrote this book to show you the readers how good it is to achieve your happiness in life.
Children are precious love them with all your heart and God will reward you with his blessings.

School was over and they started their summer vacation. Every day they would get together to play and they would get to understand each other very well.
John and Suzie lived at the bottom of a beautiful mountain. Every day they came out to play they would stop and gaze at the mountain the view was beautiful for them to look at. One summer day the sun was shining brightly the wind blowing softly in the air birds chirping everywhere butterflies flying all around this made John and Suzie happy.
001.jpgJohn who is out going always thinking about adventure it didn’t take him long to figure out what to do and how to start enjoying some of the beauty of the mountain. They are loving and kind to each other they even think alike. As time went by John and Suzie would sit and talk about the mountain every day. They watched the beautiful sunset until the sun disappeared behind the mountain, leaving that radiant light that lit up the sky.
One day John said to Suzie let us go on an adventure. This puzzled Suzie she didn’t know what John meant when he said that to her. Suzie’s response to John was I don’t know what you are talking about.
He then boldly said to her I think it would be nice if we take a trip up the mountain to see more of what the mountain is willing to show us.
Suzie we are having some beautiful days, let us enjoy them as we climb to the top. Suzie agrees with John’s suggestion. It didn’t take them long to figure out where to start. They both became very excited and ready for their adventure.
nature-1209302_1920.jpgSuzie said to John we have to talk to Grandma Ellie first before we do anything John agrees and said I will talk to Mom and Dad about it. The relationship between John and Suzie’s family were wonderful Suzie’s Grandmother’s name is Ellie she takes care of them during the days when they are not in school. She is very kind to John as if he was her grandson.
Grandma Ellie always noticed how protective and caring he is to Suzie. She just loves John, he can’t do anything wrong in her eyes. When there is a problem at home with his parents, he always goes over to tell grandma Ellie what happened. She tells him it is going to be alright. Just listen to your Mom and Dad and do what they expect of you and everything will be alright. John went home after he and Suzie talked about hiking up the mountain and told his parents what he and Suzie were planning to do.
They asked him why they wanted to hike up the mountain. He said the days have been so nice and we are on school vacation. John’s parents Bob and Ester looked at each and smiled.
Then they asked John, what do you think Suzie’s parents would say about the great adventure you two are planning.
He said she went home to talk to her parent’s Jack and Ivy and Grandma Ellie about it. I am pretty sure she will tell me when we go out to play what they said. Neither of John or Suzie’s parents came to a decision about their plan. They wanted to meet with each other to talk about it.
John and Suzie were a little disappointed that their parents did not came to a decision right away for them to go ahead, they were not happy. The first time it was discussed with Grandma Ellie she was all for it. She love them so much she didn’t want to disappoint them in any way as Grandmother’s always have a strong love for their grand children.
Grandma Ellie invited John’s parents Bob and Ester to come over one evening after work to talk with Jack and Ivy about the children’s plan. That evening they all sat discussed what they should do so the kids could enjoy their school vacation. John and Suzie’s moms weren’t excited about the idea of the children hiking up the mountain, as mothers tend to be very protective of their children. While Bob and Jack and Granma Ellie thought it would be a
