Preface
We develop our relationship with God in the person of Lord JESUS Christ in the same manner that we would with any other person. Relationships are formed by people when they know certain things about each other.
God already knows everything about us and has started the relationship with us, but we have to do our part for the relationship to develop, by getting to know God better.
The only way that we can get to know God better is by allowing God to communicate to us the things that God wants us to know about Himself.
In the same manner or similar manner that God told Moses about what He did in the past, in the book of Genesis, and also how God told the Apostle John about what He is going to do in the future, in the book of Revelation, God is able to communicate to us whatever He wants us to know about what He is doing in the present day of our lives.
Whenever we take time during our day of activities to meditate on God and the word of God that’s found in the Bible, our minds will be opened to receive communication from God.
All scripture references and verses in this book, are from the King James Version of the Bible (KJV).
Scripture Reference: Genesis 2:1-3
The Bible says, "Genesis 2:1 - 3 (KJV) ¹Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. ²And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. ³And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made."
The title of this week’s meditation of God is, Lord JESUS Christ Millennium Kingdom could be the seventh day.
There is a pattern in the Bible that’s very hard for us not to notice, and it has to do with the number seven. Many Bible scholars and theologians say that the number seven in the Bible means completion.
In other words, it’s God’s way of letting us know that He has finished something, from the creation of the material universe in seven twenty-four-hour days, to the punishment of wicked mankind on the earth in the seven years of tribulation in the future.
In the Old Testament we see a lot of scripture referring to the number seven like:
Proverbs 6:16 (KJV) ¹⁶These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
Leviticus 25:8 - 9 (KJV) ⁸And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. ⁹Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.
Judges 6:1 (KJV) ¹And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.
Jeremiah 34:14 (KJV) ¹⁴At the end of seven years let ye go every man his brother an Hebrew, which hath been sold unto thee; and when he hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear.
In the New Testament we also have a lot of scripture referring to the number seven like:
Mark 16:9 (KJV) ⁹Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
Luke 17:4 (KJV) ⁴And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
Hebrews 11:30 (KJV) ³⁰By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.
Revelation 1:4 (KJV) ⁴John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
Revelation 1:20 (KJV) ²⁰The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
Revelation 4:5 (KJV) ⁵And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
Revelation 5:1 (KJV) ¹And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
Revelation 21:9 (KJV) ⁹And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
These are only a few of the many scriptures that saturate the Bible with references to the number seven.
According to Bible historian scholars, they believe that mankind existence on earth from the first man Adam who the Bible says lived nine hundred and thirty years, to the death on the Cross, burial, and resurrection of Lord JESUS Christ, is about 4000 or 4004 years.
We are very close to 2000 years since the death on the Cross, burial, and resurrection of Lord JESUS Christ; therefore, according to this theory, we are very close to 6000 years of mankind existence on the earth from the first man Adam to our present day.
The Bible also says, "2 Peter 3:8 (KJV) ⁸But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."
So according to the Bible, from God’s point of view mankind has been in existence for only six days. We know that the millennium Kingdom is going to last for 1000 years before the Great White Throne judgment and New Heaven and New Earth.
So, what this means for us is that the rapture of the spiritual church body of Lord JESUS Christ from the earth could happen in our lifetime.
If we believe that from the first man Adam to Lord JESUS Christ death on the Cross, burial, and resurrection is 4000 years and it happened A.D. 30, then A.D. 2030 will be 6000 years, at which time if this pattern of seven theory in correct, Lord JESUS Christ is supposed to come back to earth to set up His millennium Kingdom, but we would probably have to subtract seven years of tribulation from the 2030, which leaves us with A.D. 2023 as a possible time for the rapture of the Church.
If we use the 4004 years from the first man Adam to the Cross of Lord JESUS Christ then we are looking at a possible rapture in A.D. 2019. This message was written in the year of our Lord 2018. A.D. means in the year of the Lord.
The aim or goal of this message is not to predict the rapture and/or second coming of Lord JESUS Christ precisely, but to let us know that taking into consideration the number seven pattern that is clearly seen throughout the whole Bible from beginning to the end, the nearly six thousand years of mankind existence, plus knowing that a thousand years is like a day to God, with the thousand year millennium to come, which is only another day to God, then we might conclude that Lord JESUS Christ Millennium Kingdom could be the seventh day. At the end of the Millennium Kingdom, Almighty Holy God will have completed the development and gathering of all the human beings that God has decided to live with forever.
Of course, all of this is speculation and estimation of mankind’s years of existence, but if it’s true, then instead of thinking we have hundreds or thousands of more years before Lord JESUS Christ return to earth, we need to understand that we may only have five years or less before His return.
With all that being said, we would have to also conclude that we are running out of time for us to be witnesses unto Lord JESUS Christ.
Lord JESUS Christ Millennium Kingdom could be the seventh day.
Scripture Reference: Genesis 2:16-17 & 3:1-8
The Bible says, "Genesis 2:16 - 17 (KJV) ¹⁶And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: ¹⁷But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."
The Bible also says, "Genesis 3:1 - 8 (KJV) ¹Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? ²And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: ³But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. ⁴And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: ⁵For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. ⁶And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. ⁷And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. ⁸And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden."
The title of this week’s meditation of God is, Lord JESUS Christ is Good and Satan the devil is evil.
Adam and his wife were innocent when God created them and they had a perfect relationship with God and each other.
God created a whole World with living plants and animals for them to oversee, but to test their free will; God put a forbidden tree on the earth and commanded them not to eat of it.
They could eat of all the other trees on the planet, even the tree of life, but not of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Being stewards of the planet earth, Adam and his wife apparently had the ability to communicate with the animals.
Satan the devil used a serpent or snake to talk to Adam’s wife so that he could use Adam’s wife to get to Adam. The devil seduced the woman with deceitful words and caused her to desire more for her life than God had provided. She was content with her life until the devil messed with her mind.
The woman decided to eat the forbidden fruit so that they could become like gods and encouraged her husband Adam to do likewise.
She ate of the forbidden fruit first and nothing bad happened, so Adam used his free will to follow his wife instead of Almighty Holy God their/our Creator. When Adam ate the forbidden fruit, immediately they knew the different between good and evil, but they became evil, because they disobeyed God, and by doing so, they became spiritually separated from God.
Satan the devil successfully used a serpent to tempt Adam’s wife, and used Adam’s wife to tempt Adam to sin against Holy God!
God had told them if they eat of the forbidden tree they would surely die; they died spiritually first and physically later. Losing their spiritual connection to God made them afraid of God, and they tried to hide from God.
The first question we need to stop here and ask ourselves is, "Why did God put that tree there when He already knew what was going to happen?"
What we need to know and understand is that everything that happens in the World, good or bad, is God’s way of teaching mankind about who God is, so that we can have a close personal relationship with God.
So, God allowed Adam and his wife to eat the forbidden fruit, because the first step in God’s plan for the revelation of God to mankind, is for mankind to first have the knowledge of good and evil.
In the rest of the Genesis scripture text God showed Himself to be a disciplinary God and also a God of grace and mercy.
After giving divine consequences to the serpent and the devil, the woman, and Adam, God showed Adam and his wife how they could still have a relationship with Him.
God made clothing for Adam and his wife out of animal skins to show them what had to be done in order for spiritually separated mankind from God, to have a relationship with Holy God.
The Bible says, "Leviticus 17:11 (KJV) ¹¹For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul."
God also showed His love for mankind by keeping Adam from eating of the Tree of Life; otherwise Adam and his wife would have had an evil immortal and unredeemable physical body for eternity.
Physical death for every believer is a blessing from God, because it allows God to redeem our souls and give us a new sinless body to live in with God forever.
The most important thing among many that God wants every believer to know is that God is GOOD!
But in order for us to know and understand what it means to say that God is GOOD, we have to know and experience what is evil.
The next question is, just how good is God?
