The Kingdom of God Continues - Jeff Lowe

    Introduction

The kingdom of God is heaven on earth revealed, as the world is heaven on earth concealed. The glad tidings, or the gospel of the kingdom, is the good news of God wanting a personal relationship with us. One of the benefits of that relationship is to ask for anything we desire and receive it, which sounds too good to be true. However, building our trust in God and being able to take his word at face value requires study, or focus, and meditation to accelerate the promises He has given us to appear in our life.

God does not change as we do, but we can find that his personal relationship with Adam before the fall was the way he always wanted to fellowship, provide, and love on us. Man created a barrier that had limited the Holy Spirit to be a guest speaker to only a few that would listen and speak on his behalf. The gospel was preached to Abraham about the blessing, it was preached to the Jews to invite them to relationship status, John preached the gospel, and of course, Jesus preached to gospel of the kingdom in much detail. The effects on that relationship were displayed in Paul delivering the kingdom of God on earth.

God’s original plan of us living without need of anything physically or spiritually has always been the supernatural provision of God. This is what awaits us in the kingdom. We receive when we believe. The more detail on what is available as a child of God will increase our faith into the all things are possible realm of God. This book is written to help you with that process.

And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. (Gal. 3:8–9)

For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. (Heb. 4:2)

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. (Luke 4:18)

Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ. (Rom. 15:19)

It has been said that the Old Testament is the New Testament concealed, and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed. The Old Testament writers and prophets had different details of the coming Christ from birth to death. In general, the Gospels were written for the unsaved, with Jesus speaking the audience in parables, and the Epistles for those who are saved to teach them about the kingdom of God. Jesus talked about being born again in the scriptures only one time, at night and in private, but his focus was about the kingdom of God, which he preached for forty more days after his resurrection.

The kingdom of God shows its significance by being written seventy times in the New Testament. When Jesus taught his disciples to speak the kingdom coming to earth and pray, Let your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven, men began to see more miraculous power on the earth than ever before.

Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: (Rom. 16:25–26)

Despite a long counterattack by the enemy, the body of Christ is making a great comeback, revealing the kingdom with knowledge and power. Even though Adam did not guard the earth from the enemy and lost his connection with the kingdom, we are going to retrieve what the enemy has stolen. This is a new time. God is giving you his faith. God wants you to win the fight of faith. You are a new you. There are times when a greater power than yourself will come upon you in manifestations to do his will. And because you believe, signs will follow

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. (Matt. 6:10)

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark 16:17–18)

    Chapter 1

    The Grace of the Kingdom

The Ten Commandments, or the law that was written in stone by God, is known as the ministration of condemnation and death. This is the letter that kills, compared to the Spirit that gives life and freedom. We are now saved by what we believe and not what we do. We are the righteousness of God, by our faith in Jesus. We are justified and glorified. We are a new creation.

But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. (2 Cor. 3:7–9)

Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. (2 Cor. 3:6)

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Eph. 2:8–9)

But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. (Rom. 4:5)

For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. (Rom. 5:19)

But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference. (Rom. 3:21–22)

Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. (Rom. 8:30)

Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]. (2 Cor. 5:17, AMP)

Jesus came to fulfill the law that we could not accomplish ourselves. For a short time, commandments were given to the nation of Israel that required two parts of performance to make a covenant, their part and God’s part. These rules put many to death. This law was made for the lawless, disobedient, the ungodly, for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers, whoremongers, and liars, which pretty much described all but a few people who came out of Egypt. They walked in their own desires. They walked in their own lusts. They walked by sight and not by faith.

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. (Matt. 5:17)

Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine. (1 Tim. 1:9–10)

And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. (Exod. 32:7–8)

And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick. (Num. 11:4–5)

We now a have new single performance covenant, making the old one obsolete. This was the covenant that would replace a time when God led Moses by the hand to a time where God leads all people. Because Christ died (once and for all) for our sins—past, present, and future—he took the punishment and death sentence for us and became the end of the law.

With the words a new covenant, God made the first covenant old, and what is old and no longer effective will soon fade away completely. (Heb. 8:13, VOICE)

For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people. (Heb. 8:8–10)

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. (Heb. 9:28)

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross. (Col. 2:13–14)

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. (Rom. 10:4)

Now we are under grace, dead to the law and are not to serve under the oldness of the letter. Grace reveals that God’s desire has always been to dwell in us, teach us about his life-giving Word, and reveal his glory to others, never again resulting in picking up rocks and throwing them at each other from being under a curse.

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. (Rom. 6:14)

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. (Rom. 7:4)

But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. (Rom. 7:6)

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things. (John 14:26)

Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? (John 8:5)

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. (Gal. 3:10)

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:17)

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of this law. Now that God has made us holy (set apart) with a perfect born-again spirit that is sealed unto the day of redemption, we should continue to receive the Word to renew our minds. There may be consequences for sin in this life, but even if people, the devil, or our own heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart; and the Lord is forever interceding for us.

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree. (Gal. 3:13)

Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. (1 Pet. 1:16)

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. (Matt. 5:48)

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. (Eph. 4:30)

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Rom. 12:2)

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind. (Eph. 4:23)

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. (Eph. 5:26–27)

Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. (1 Cor. 15:34)

Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. (Rom. 8:33–34, NKJV)
